About: Get a $20 discount on your first booking by using the code CHERYM82288. I actually live in Bowmanville, however I am willing to drive up to two hours in any direction to pet/house sit for 4 days or longer. I will do Drop-In Visits and Dog Walking within 20 minutes of Bowmanville. I love furry family members. My demeanour lights up around pets. I have a flexible schedule, so I can work with you and your needs. I enjoy educating myself on different breeds and I am very aware of animal resources in the community. I will always respect your care plan for your furry friend. You can see my reviews on my site page. I will put you at ease by texting photos or making phone calls to you so your pet can hear your voice, if you’d like. I have a presence that furry friends are typically drawn to. I always want to have chemistry that puts your pet at ease. I will be honest if there isn’t a connection between myself and your furry friend. I only want the best for your pet. I don’t remember a time in my life that I didn’t have a dog or two. I have always had dogs from puppies to their senior years. I had a dog that had seizures and am very comfortable administering medication. I have looked after cats over the years as well. I recently retired from the financial industry, making me able to help you and your furry companion with consistent feeding, regular exercise, reduced anxiety, and provide a sense of calm and safety. I will care for your pet in your home and follow your requests. I can exercise, groom, train and socialize, and have safe playtime with your furry friend. My main concern is your pet’s safety.

“Niki is so friendly and took the time to meet my cats and make sure they were comfortable shortly before my trip. My normally very shy and introverted cat came and cuddled and played with her, which she hasn't done in the past with previous cat sitters. Updates from Niki were thorough and helped me feel like my cats were well taken care of while I was away. I couldn't have asked for anyone better for my two cats!”

“Siobhan was such a wonderful sitter for our cat while we were away. She was so caring and diligent with her visits and communication. She was quick to respond, and she didn’t hesitate to ask questions to ensure she was taking the best care of him. We truly appreciated all the updates, and it helped ease our minds knowing he was in such good hands. I would highly recommend Siobhan to anyone needing a cat sitter! Thank you Siobhan for all of your help so we could enjoy our family time away!”

“Ken did a recent drop in visit with my pups while I was out of town for the day. My dogs are not good with strangers, but Ken was very calm and patient with them. I came home to happy, tired and well cared for pups. Highly recommend!”

“Thank you Heather for taking such great care of our pets while we were away. Our minds were at ease, and receiving the photos and updates were very helpful! We would highly recommend using Heather for your pet-caring needs, and will definitely book again!”

About: Hi! I’m Emma — a lifelong dog lover with a soft spot for pups of all breeds and personalities. I split my time between Aurora, ON area and Algonquin Highlands (Dorset, ON), and I’m available for dog walking, sitting, and boarding in both areas depending on the week. I currently live in a house (no roommates, no dogs of my own), which means your pup will have a calm, cozy environment and my full attention. I work flexible hours and love spending time outside, so whether your dog needs long walks, couch cuddles, or just a reliable companion while you’re away — I’ve got you covered. While I’m new to Rover, I’ve looked after dogs for years through friends and my family — from playful puppies to mellow seniors. I always treat every dog like my own and aim to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. 🐾 Flexible weekday & weekend availability 🏡 Safe, quiet, pet-free home for boarding 📍 Aurora + Algonquin Highlands coverage 🐶 Personalized 1-on-1 attention 💬 Meet & greets available! I’d love to meet your pup and learn all about their personality and routine. Feel free to message me with any questions — I’m here to help! I have a lot of flexibility to be able to care for your pet on a daily/weekly and am available for boarding (preferably in my home) on the weekends or for longer stays. Message me with any questions — I’d love to meet your pup! I have a fenced backyard at home and also a lakeside cottage. I have a crate handy if your dog feels comfortable in one. Your dog would be fed at the same times everyday to ensure a normal schedule, as well as daily walks, 2-3 times a day.

About: Ever since I was a little one, I’ve had an unwavering passion for taking care of others. Currently, I work part time as an intensive care/emergency RN. On my days off to maintain a work-life balance, I try to fulfill my passion in taking care of animals. You can rest assured that both you and your furry friends are in great hands! I have lots of experience working with rescue organizations training and fostering both dogs and cats. From reactive, shy, nervous, selective, and behavioural, I’ve seen it all and am comfortable working with them regardless of temperaments. I also have experience as a “flight angel”, which involves bringing dogs via plane from other parts of the world to Ontario. As the weather is nicer and my schedule loosens up for the summer, I’m transitioning to Rover to see if I can get some extra time with some four legged friends! I have two rescue dogs and two rescue cats of my own. I live on the water in Seguin but am flexible and open to travelling to get to you and your pet. On my days off from being an RN, I’m happy to work with your pet and give them my full, undivided attention. Days spent with your pet will be entirely dedicated to them, without any other distractions like work or children. Safety and trust are my top priorities! For this reason, my dogs may not be present while your pet stays with me. This is in order for your pet to have the space to themselves to adequately decompress, as I recognize leaving home could be a stressful experience for some. On the contrary, if I’m entering your home, I will make sure to respect the space of both you and your pet! Boundaries are so important and will vary based on the individual needs of your furry friend. I am no stranger to keeping the lives and wellbeing of others in the tops of my priorities.
