About: Growing up with dogs, I've always had a love for taking care of and making sure all dogs - big or small - feel loved, safe, and comfortable. At previous places of work, I often watched my coworkers dogs in their homes while they were away. Whether its couch snuggles or early morning walks, I'm here for it! My ability to really listen to and hear what a dog needs sets me apart from other sitters; I firmly believe that there is so much more to a dog than people give them credit. They are such intelligent individuals with a raw sense of joy that it would be an absolute honor to get to spend time watching your furry friend! I am currently working as an outdoor program instructor at Sierra Nevada Journeys in Portola until the end of the summer. Outside of that work, I am excited to get to know the local community better through dog walking and dog sitting. I will have a varying work schedule that might be a little tricky to work around at times, but I'm really looking forward to spending time on the weekends helping folks out with their dogs! As I mentioned, I cannot currently offer boarding services -- but I am eager to help out and take care of a pet in a client's home (check-ins/overnights). Not only will I be respectful of the space itself, but I will also be sure to attune to the needs of the dog in their home as I am a guest while I am there. This includes learning all necessary information head of time about the home, how to access needed things, and asking any lingering questions so that there is no question of your pet's comfort and safety in your time away.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was young, especially helping with my sister’s and friends pets over the years. I’m very comfortable feeding, walking, playing, and making sure pets feel safe and cared for. I’m patient, reliable, and treat every pet like they’re my own. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your animals, and I always make sure they get attention, love, and proper care. I’m available Friday evenings after 6 PM and all day Saturday and Sunday. During those times, I can give your pets my full attention, including walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I always make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. I follow any specific instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, walks, and routines. I’m very attentive and patient, and I treat every pet like my own to make sure they feel secure and happy while you’re away.

A little about me: I am a realtor and love my job! But with being a solo-caretaker of my elderly grandmother, this seems to be flexible. My schedule is mostly incredibly flexible, especially if planned in advance. I’m also great for last minute saves if things fell through with your normal pet sitter! I will meet you and your pet exactly where you are at! Anything that is out of my scope of comfort will be clearly communicated in advance or as needed. I am all about open communication on both sides. I can’t help if you don’t tell me what you need! If I can’t provide it, I certainly usually know someone who could. And that goes for a lot of things. Looking to build trusting relationships with pets and their humans! I am flexible on any changes or needs you and your pets may have. I’ve cared for puppies up to senior pups for long periods of time for clients and happy to share those references upon request. The only thing I can’t provide is a place for your pets in my home but I’m always open to yours which generally seems to be ideal. Just ask.🩷 Which both

About: My name is Carrie Anne, and I am a Momma to our my special older boy Balloo who has made it to 15 years old ! Baloo is a pit plot hound mix and one of the great loves of my life! I have raise my two children with our animals and have a vast experience with both young and elderly care for them in our home. I am a woman of integrity and heart currently finishing my degree and serve weekly at my church in several ministry areas including music and with our youth. My animals and my home are my place of peace. I would love nothing more than to be able to create that same sense of peace for clients needing trustworthy animal care in their home and work done with integrity. I have been a Nevada resident now for 15 years and have recently moved to the fenominal city of Reno. Each week I fine new things to love and explore about my city! I understand what it is like to have the need for animal care when working long hours or needing time away from home to share with family and the need to have confidence that your home and well beloved critters are taken care of with competence. The care our my home and animals is a top priority and one I take seriously. It is the start and dedicated ending to each and every day. I am a detail oriented person.
