About: I have about 15 years experience now with caring for, training and providing families with therapy and service dogs. I absolutely love all animals and do not have any fears surrounding certain breeds or different types of pets such as snakes or other reptiles, rodents or feline pets. About: Growing up with dogs, I've always had a love for taking care of and making sure all dogs - big or small - feel loved, safe, and comfortable. At previous places of work, I often watched my coworkers dogs in their homes while they were away. Whether its couch snuggles or early morning walks, I'm here for it! My ability to really listen to and hear what a dog needs sets me apart from other sitters; I firmly believe that there is so much more to a dog than people give them credit. They are such intelligent individuals with a raw sense of joy that it would be an absolute honor to get to spend time watching your furry friend! I am currently working as an outdoor program instructor at Sierra Nevada Journeys in Portola until the end of the summer. Outside of that work, I am excited to get to know the local community better through dog walking and dog sitting. I will have a varying work schedule that might be a little tricky to work around at times, but I'm really looking forward to spending time on the weekends helping folks out with their dogs! As I mentioned, I cannot currently offer boarding services -- but I am eager to help out and take care of a pet in a client's home (check-ins/overnights). Not only will I be respectful of the space itself, but I will also be sure to attune to the needs of the dog in their home as I am a guest while I am there. This includes learning all necessary information head of time about the home, how to access needed things, and asking any lingering questions so that there is no question of your pet's comfort and safety in your time away.

She sent tons of photos, was super responsive and gave extensive updates for each visit (twice a day). My animals adores people and kids and it was such a treat for them to make new friends while we were away. It also was so comforting to see pics and videos of the animals having a good time while we were away - especially for my kids to know they were so loved. 10/10 highly recommend!”

About: I've had animals my whole life. I currently have 2 cats of my own. I've worked in a vet and I've taken care of many of my friends and family's pets as well. I am currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to care and play with your fur babies. I am available morning, afternoon and night. I make sure your babies are fed and have plenty of water, I can take them out 3-4 times a day depending how they are. I also make sure I play with them as much as possible.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
