“Emily has been wonderful with Heisenberg! I am so grateful for her help. I was nervous to have a stranger take care of him, but I couldn't be happier with how well it has worked out.”

“As always, Jenn is so great! She goes above and beyond to make sure our precious kitty is cared for. Our kitty has some particular issues which require daily meds which he can be persnickety about taking. We are so grateful for Jenna’s dedication to ensuring that our kitty took his medication as much as possible. We are so happy with Jenn’s service!”

“Amy took great care of our senior dog and was very patient as he warmed up to her. She provided multiple pictures each drop-in and left detailed descriptions of how our dog was doing, so we knew he was in good hands while we were away. We will definitely use Amy for our next trip!”

“Shelby took care of Mickey for a week. She followed his daily routine and kept us posted if there were changes, I.e. not going to potty when it was raining. Mickey gets anxious and sad when we leave, but Mickey was happy and evidently less stressed/anxious when we returned. Thank you Shelby!”

About: PLEASE DO NOT MESSAGE ME IF YOU HAVE PENDING REQUESTS TO OTHER SITTERS. Please understand that when you send me a request, I have to turn down other potential clients while I wait for you to confirm. Thanks in advance for being a considerate neighbor and human. I had dogs all through childhood and college, and miss having a four-legged friend around! Sadly, my own work travel schedule prevents me from having a doggo of my own right now, so I thought that it would be a good compromise to lend a hand to other frequent flyers who love their pup too much to put them in the kennel. Rest assured that your dog will not get just a 15-minute lap around the block to pee, I'll take him or her to the dog park, on a hike, or if your pup is more low-key, I'll totally snuggle on the couch. My pet ownership experience is mostly with big dogs (sheperds), so that's definitely my soft spot, but I've taken care of all breeds and sizes through volunteering as a foster with a rescue group in my former home of Washington, DC. I have a reliable car, so it's easy for me to get to your place to check in a couple of times a day. I work from home, so I am pretty flexible. I do live with a sassy cat, but we live in a big duplex where pets can be separated if needed. I will strive to stick to your pet's usual routine whether I am sitting at your home or boarding in my own home. They are already missing their humans, and maintaining their routine gives them one less thing to be anxious about.

“I can’t rate Jennifer high enough. She helped care for our senior dog over the weekend and she was absolutely amazing. Our dog was sick and the way she took care of him, patiently, and provided us with updates was exactly what we needed. Bentley is in his final months with us and leaving him is very hard, and we trusted her completely. I’d recommend Jennifer again and again!”

“Samantha did a great job for us tonight, Thanksgiving, and it was so nice to arrive home to dogs that had been cared for and fed before we got home. We were gone for hours and it was so appreciated that Samantha took time on her busy holiday to take care of our Furry Herd! We have five dogs, three of whom need medication (one is a fairly complicated regimen of three pills and two eye drops for just one of the dogs), and she pulled it off without a hitch. Thanks again, Samantha!!!!”

“Even with a small mix up with the time making her a little late for the visit (it happens to the best of us) - Kimberly did a great job taking care of our dogs. She gave them lots of love and made sure they went out, had water and sat with them for a bit. Because of the time mix up, she even offered to come then next day and spend additional time with them. We will hire Kimberly again when we need drop in visits :)”

“Stephen and Amelie are the best! They take excellent care of our babies and our home when we’re away and make us feel completely comfortable when we need to travel without the pups. Our dogs love them too!”

Ashley W.
“Ashley is quite the do lover. She no only loves dogs but has tons of energy for those who like to be super active. In the time I have known Ashley she has not only watched dogs I've had and done an excellent job but she is also a former foster with a local dog rescue. When fostering with an off transport rescue you rarely know what to expect and Ashley has shown that she can care for many types of dogs of varying temperaments. The most memorable was very anxious and mouthy beagle who was later put on Prozac to help with her temperament and behavior. Ashley fostered Tallulah until she was adopted to later be returned multiple times because people just couldn't deal with the challenge that Ashley was. If I had a personal dog i would not only trust Ashley with its care but not worry because I know she would do anything she could to assure it's comfort and care.”

Butler dog parents share their Rover experiences
My husband and I had Jasmine for an hour drop in to feed and hang out with our 3 dogs. She created a report card that individually explained what she & the dogs did. She provided fantastic details about each pup as well as many pictures of them! My husband and I felt at ease knowing Jasmine was there & trusting her attention to detail to provide what each pups needed.

First time ever using a pet sitter and have to admit was pretty nervous about leaving our two dogs, but i have to say we couldn't have been happier with the care our dogs received. Hannah was very communicative and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the daily pictures she sent of the fun they were having. I highly recommend her services and would not hesitate having her take care of our dogs again.
