About: Since I was little, my family has always had at least some kind of animal in the house. 7 years ago when I got my first cat of my own, Daisy. She is my best friend, and our bond is like no other. It seems like I'm the only one in the house she can tolerate, as she has a pretty spiky personality. 3 years ago in the fall, I got my second cat, Simba. In these 7 years of owning and caring for my fur babies, I have cat and dog sat on and off more times than I can count. I usually do sitting and care outside of my home, because my cats can be dramatic and aren't very open to other animals stealing their spotlight. I'm currently working part time and work early shifts so I have plenty of open availability to help with your cats and dogs. I available for boarding on weekdays after 2pm and weekends any time. I am strongly built and am able to pick up, crate, control, and walk dogs up to about 150lbs. For cat sitting, cats naturally love me as I do not invade their spaces if not welcomed and know where to and where not to pet them.

About: Hello all! My name is Carly. I am from Connecticut originally and have been living in the Capital district for about two years now. When I was back in home state, I had been sitting for about 8 years on and off and grew up taking care of all types. I used to have my own business called CA Pet Services doing pet sitting during my free time. I have taken care of all types of animals, large and small. I love meeting new furry friends and enjoy spending time getting to know them and giving them all the affection they deserve. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
