“Where do I even begin? Heidi and her family were life savers. I had a different host that I had booked well over a month before my trip, and on the day of drop off I could not get a hold of her. I was in pure panic mode, and I found Heidi. She lives even closer to my home so that was another bonus. I got all the pictures and updates constantly. She treated my fur baby as if she were her own. She gave my girl a homemade pup cup, sweet potato and rice on her food, and all the snuggles. I know that she was truly in the best hands, and the first host falling through was a blessing in disguise. I would definitely book with her again!”

About: Raised a well trained border collie in high school and recently fostered a puppy that became a service dog through Dogs For Better Lives. We trained it for 14 months to prepare for service training. Typically the professional training takes 4-6 months but our boy graduated in 2.5. I love short, fun training sessions and consistency. I was a solo traveler living the vanlife but am back home helping my folks in Maryland. I love dogs but owning one would radically change my lifestyle. I’m hoping that through Rover I can still have some dog time on the road and take some good boys and girls for adventures outdoors. About: I’ve had my own animals, both cats and dogs (mainly cats) since I was 6 years old. I’ve had to administer insulin before to my diabetic cat that has since passed. My experience with dogs are mainly of the bigger size (I had a pitbull/boxer mix and a pure bred chow chow). About: Throughout my life I have taken care of dogs in many different capacities. Today I am currently an owner, foster parent for Petey's Legacy, and lover of all furry friends. I have experience with all ages and breeds and can provide the greatest experience a pup can ask for. I am always available for whatever your friend may need. I am available anytime, day or night to care for your pets. I know pets sometimes cannot wait to get the care they need and I am able to place them first on my list. I currently have two dogs and foster another one. At my home I have land that allows the dogs to move freely while on an extended leash. My foster dog has their own space that is separated from the other two so they can feel comfortable with a place of their own. All dogs receive equal attention and love. If I am caring for your pets at your home I am able to stay overnight if requested.
About: I work part time and am pretty flexible with my schedule. My fiancée and I currently have 4 cats but I grew up with dogs. I love dog sitting for friends and family. My previous dog was diabetic so I have given insulin and have with experience with senior dogs. I currently work part time so I have a lot of time to play with your animals! Our cats love to cuddle and to go for walks in their stroller. I use automatic feeders for dry food and give them wet food once a day. About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I could remember. I love them so much. Everyone calls me the dog whisperer whenever they need a helping hand with their fur babies. I do charge an additional fee for gas, due to gas prices being so high and the high intake I receive from my guests. About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, and gained a lot of experience caring for my own family pets, then started pet sitting and working with horses as a teenager. After spending most of young adult life working with horses, I went back to college to get a degree that would allow me to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. I worked in companion animal (dogs and cats) practice for a number of years before taking a "real" job that allowed me more time for my own pets. I've found I love my new job and schedule, but miss having as much animal interaction. I was in pure panic mode, and I found Heidi. She lives even closer to my home so that was another bonus. I got all the pictures and updates constantly. She treated my fur baby as if she were her own. She gave my girl a homemade pup cup, sweet potato and rice on her food, and all the snuggles. I know that she was truly in the best hands, and the first host falling through was a blessing in disguise. I would definitely book with her again!”

The couple has no pets currently, so they were able to give Bentley loads of personal attention and play time. Chris lives near Washington Park, so Bentley had plenty of grassy area to run around and meet other dogs. Chris and Jia worked with our high energy, young pyredoodle, so Bentley would respond to commands more readily. We highly recommend booking with Chris.”
