Sadie loved her and her girls, never looking back at us after that first day of drop off! Melissa sent periodic pics and updates of how our girl was doing, and was very accommodating as to drop off and pick up times. We would not hesitate to rebook with Melissa and highly recommend her for your fur babies.”

About: I’ve had the privilege of being a dog owner since the age of 13. Dogs are a part of my life and are so healing to the soul. I’ve had years of experience in loving and taking care of these fur babies. I do well with following instructions, being respectful, and creating a safe space & home for your pups. I would consider myself to be a great and responsible dog mom, sitter, and would love and take care of your dog like my own. I’m a stay at home mom and have the time to take care and play with your pups. I have space in my backyard for playtime and potty time and live in a beautiful neighborhood to go on walks for fresh air and exercise. My family spends a lot of time outside and so will your pup (weather permitting of course). I’m available during weekdays and weekends. My services include boarding and doggy day care. I have a backyard and beautiful deck to get plenty of playtime and sunshine. I also live right across the street from a large park that we can take trips to. I have a small and friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I will keep your dog on a leash while outside and/or can close off the deck for a more secure area.

About: I have 2 dogs of my own and foster puppies and adult dogs as well. We also have chickens. I love animals of all types and understand how difficult it can be to find someone you trust with their care. I am a Registered Nurse and caring for animals comes as natural to me as caring for people. Caring for your pets gives me the flexibility to spend time with them but also be available as a mom. My daughter loves animals and is very helpful and loving. I have a flexible work schedule and mostly work from home. I am able to interact while working and provide frequent potty breaks and extra attention as needed. I do feed separately to avoid food aggression issues which can sometimes happen in new environments. I have 2 dogs of my own and a fenced in yard. There is plenty of space to run and play and also lounge and nap! We’d love to know what your dog's typical routine is at home as well as any behaviors (food/toy aggression) or quirks we should be aware of. I will do my best to accommodate any special needs. Please let us know if they are on any medications or have any health issues. I DO NOT accept dogs that are aggressive, excessive barkers, non-house trained, destructive, or have severe separation anxiety. All dogs who stay in our home must be well socialized, healthy (i.e. not sick with any contagious diseases that could be passed onto humans or other dogs) and up to date on their vaccines and flea/tick preventatives. Required vaccinations: Rabies Distemper Bordetella (kennel cough)

“Dorota and Wayne are the BEST hosts ever!! Ricky loves going to stay with them! They have a HUGE yard where Ricky loves to play. They have wonderful dogs of their own who Ricky loves to play with. They're usually hosting a bunch of other great dogs, so it's always a big doggie party at their place!! They treat Ricky like one of their own, he has the run of their yard, their house, and their bedroom...he feels right at home!! The best part is Dorota sends LOADS of pictures everyday so we can see first hand what a great time Ricky is having when he stays with them!!! They even Facetimed with us!! We highly recommend Dorota!!”

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

My own pups Dodger and Bahston are my best friends and we enjoy our adventures. Dogs get you out of your house and help you socialize with other people - things you may not normally do on a regular basis. I became a pet sitter because I want to share my love with dogs and help out other members of my community. You and your dog will love me because I am loyal, and disciplined. Being a former soldier has taught me a lot about myself - but more then anything it has taught me to be loyal to people (and pets) who mean everything to me. I have the discipline to continue learning, continue growing, and continue to be the best person I can be. I've found that these traits also come in handy with working with dogs, if you give your best to a dog, they'll give it right back. When I am not pet sitting, I enjoy training for many different 5K races for charities and find that dog's make the best training partner (so if your pup likes exercise let me know!) I'm kind, patient, playful, and enjoy being outside. Washington is such a beautiful state--it's impossible not to get out and enjoy the scenery. There are so many amazing dog parks, regular parks and trails waiting to still be discovered and I plan on exploring them with the dog's in my care. There's no breed that I won't walk and/or house sit, I firmly believe every dog has a pure heart. Please reach out to me with questions, I'm so looking forward to meeting you both. I work from home and have really good flexibility when it comes to pet care. So if I’m needed overnight, boarding or walks around the neighborhood - I’ll do my best to meet your pet sitting needs!
