“Samantha went above and beyond for our boys! We were visiting family in TN for the holidays. One of our boys came down with sudden and severe Lyme symptoms while we were gone. Samantha spent many hours with him in urgent care on New Year’s Eve. She even bought the workers there pizza! She was great at caring for him and giving him meds after. Her fenced-in yard and house arrangement are perfect for our boys. She sent daily pictures and videos of our pups playing with her dog Mac and snuggling with her family. Our situation was a little unusual because my cats and I have been displaced from our home due to a mold issue, and one of my boys, Jack, had already been experiencing health symptoms. I was also leaving for a weekend, so this was my first time ever dropping my cats off with a sitter instead of having someone stay in my home. Needless to say, I was pretty anxious. From the very first meet-and-greet, Olivia immediately put me at ease. Her background as a veterinary technician was reassuring, but what truly stood out was how genuinely kind, compassionate, and attentive she is. She took the time to get to know each of my cats' unique personalities, routines, and little quirks. Both of my boys warmed up to her right away, which is saying a lot—especially Jack, who struggles with anxiety. While I was away, Olivia sent frequent updates, photos, and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was obvious they weren't just being cared for—they were genuinely loved. Seeing them so relaxed and comfortable made an incredibly stressful time so much easier. Olivia cared not only for my cats but also for me. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats ever since I was a teenager, 10 plus years and have been around animals since the day I was born. I take pride in the care of other animals and treat them like my own. I have loved and cared for cats and dogs of all sizes. I work 8:30 am-5:00 pm so am available if needed early mornings before work or after work. 1 week a month I work 10:30am-7:00 pm so would be available that week before 10:30 am. About: I have experience with all types of cats and dogs ! Earlier this year I had to put down my 18 year old lab who I have had since I was 2. Seniors hold a very special place in my heart. I currently have a 2 year old Australian shepherd who absolutely adores other animals. I have worked with Shih Tzus , poodles , American bull dogs , Great Danes and Rottweilers I am currently a stay at home mom so your pets will never be left unattended! We spend ALOT of time playing in the yard so your fur babies will have lots of time to run around. I have a fenced in yard and I have a friendly dog and 3 cats ! About: I have had cats and dogs for over 6 years (with many more years of hamster experience) and my husband was raised with many pets since he was 3 years old (cats, dogs, chicken and even birds). We like being surrounded by fur babies! We have three kitties and one Golden Doodle that is eager to have fun with your dog (he is very gentle despite his large size). Both my husband and I work remotely so at least one of us will be at the house at all times. We will be able to take care of your pet’s needs! We have a fenced yard (with night lights!) with ample space for dogs to run and do their business. About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities from young kittens and puppies to senior pets, tiny pups to large breeds like Cane Corsos. I’m active and love walks and playtime, but I’m just as happy providing a calm, comfortable environment for older or more laid back pets. I am currently per diem and self employed so I have a lot of free time to pet sit, I have a small dog myself and he loves the company I live in a safe community, we have a dog park for dogs to potty or play, or I can take them for walks. About: I have had a love for dogs ever since I was a child. My family got our first when I was 5 and since then we have had three others that we have adopted as well. With those dogs obviously came a lot of taking care of them, as well as playing with them. Along with my own dogs, I have also volunteered/worked at an animal shelter for around 2 years, where I would take the dogs out each day, give them food and water, and play with them until they hopefully found a forever home. While working at the shelter, I also fell in love with some of the dogs so I fostered around 25 of the dogs during my time at the shelter until they found a family. About: I decided to try letting a husky pull me on roller blades 27 years ago, and a bond was created that I am convinced was the greatest thing ever. I became an aspiring writer and began researching dogs, playing with them and loving them all the same. I understood that some people just had that dog thing, but I wanted to know why. Still working on my writing, and still researching, I started roller blading around Webster lake with a rescue puppy this past year. I remembered the incredible joys that a dog would have discovering the freedom, and it's really incredible. I don't claim to be a dog whisperer, but I have learned from studying dog behaviors and personalities. Honey has been incredible this season. Some dogs would rather just sniff, and it's arguably the most incredible of dog traits. Sometimes finding the space to run can be a challenge, but even just on a walk, it's all about giving them the chance to choose when you can. I have been an educator as a substitute and a paraprofessional, and enjoyed 20 years with a number of schools and institutions. Coaching tennis, track, and rock climbing, I love giving new experiences. As director for an adventure camp or as recreation games coordinator, I was able to incorporate a team into all the fun. Relying on the service industry for work, I have developed my communication skills in many fields. 3 years working for the May Institute with adults with severe disabilities gained me a humility not found elsewhere. In the Healthcare industry I found incredible individuals who just fit their calling, and you were better for being around them. The last 2 years I have traveled the state as a licensed pest technician solving homeowner problems, and keeping people safe. I enjoyed being a source of information, and health, and was careful to appreciate coming into someone's home and life. I'm currently planning on returning to school to attain my message therapy certification and utilize my background in health. “We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters.
