About: I have 2 dogs of my own and foster puppies and adult dogs as well. We also have chickens. About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: I have had a love for dogs ever since I was a child. My family got our first when I was 5 and since then we have had three others that we have adopted as well. With those dogs obviously came a lot of taking care of them, as well as playing with them. Along with my own dogs, I have also volunteered/worked at an animal shelter for around 2 years, where I would take the dogs out each day, give them food and water, and play with them until they hopefully found a forever home. While working at the shelter, I also fell in love with some of the dogs so I fostered around 25 of the dogs during my time at the shelter until they found a family. I am currently just working here and there for my dad while I am home for the summer, so I am available to take in your dog whenever. I have no set schedule with any other work, so whenever I’m needed, I will be there. I have a very large backyard for your dog to run around in, and two extremely friendly dogs who would love to meet new friends. About: I decided to try letting a husky pull me on roller blades 27 years ago, and a bond was created that I am convinced was the greatest thing ever. Sometimes finding the space to run can be a challenge, but even just on a walk, it's all about giving them the chance to choose when you can. I have been an educator as a substitute and a paraprofessional, and enjoyed 20 years with a number of schools and institutions. Coaching tennis, track, and rock climbing, I love giving new experiences. As director for an adventure camp or as recreation games coordinator, I was able to incorporate a team into all the fun. Relying on the service industry for work, I have developed my communication skills in many fields. 3 years working for the May Institute with adults with severe disabilities gained me a humility not found elsewhere. In the Healthcare industry I found incredible individuals who just fit their calling, and you were better for being around them. The last 2 years I have traveled the state as a licensed pest technician solving homeowner problems, and keeping people safe. I enjoyed being a source of information, and health, and was careful to appreciate coming into someone's home and life. I'm currently planning on returning to school to attain my message therapy certification and utilize my background in health. It's a good plan with modification, and I am hopeful that Amazon flexibility will help. I'm the kind of person who starts with a smile, and believes that kindness is always an option. I understand that taking care of your animals and home is a sacred thing, and I will remain transparent and available. I'm currently working for Amazon, Sunday through Wednesday, and have Thursday, Friday, and Saturday completely free for services. Additionally I can be available for any other days with proper notice, due to Amazon's flexibility with their scheduling. Our yard is fenced in, and our two rescue dogs enjoy their space very much playing and running around. Our 16 year old cat enjoys being an inside/outside cat very much, and has adapted to our precocious new additions. Our back door is opened frequently.
About: I have worked with dog trainers so I know some training skills needed to help with certain behaviors. I can administer meds if needed. I have had farm animals so I have that experience as well. I am looking to fill my time with some amazing animals because of my love for them. I take care of everything from farm animals to cats. I can watch cat friendly dogs in my home. I have gates and a safe environment. I am more than willing to watch pets in the clients home as well to make them feel comfortable and help with routine.
