She treated our babies as though they were hers and made sure they had lots of play time. She even made accommodations for my older dog who likes to be away from other dogs. I truly enjoyed all the communication. I would board with her again!”

“Esther's Toy & Small Dog Haven caught my attention right away because I was looking for a pet sitter who catered to small dogs. I have two small papillon dogs, only 7 pounds and I did not want them staying with someone who also had big dogs. Even playful big dogs can hurt a small breed dog, so I was happy to find Esther's boarding service on Dogs Vacay. I have never used a pet sitting or boarding service before. I was very skeptical and the person I selected to care for my canine children had to be like me. When I went on Esther's Dogs Vacay website, she had 106 reviews posted by previous dog parents. I read everyone of the 106 reviews posted. They were all positive. That gave me hope. I called Esther and she responded right away and we set up a meet and greet. I brought my papillons, Bella and Donny, over to her home in Kaneohe and met her and her three canine children. I immediately felt a connection to Esther. She has the same intuitive empathy for dogs that I have and she truly cares about dogs and can read their behavior. Esther and her husband Nick took great care of my dogs for 5 days and she sent many photos and videos everyday to my cellphone so I could see my dogs being cared for. She even hand-fed my dogs to make sure they ate their food. Her home is safe and secure for all of the dogs she cares for and there are gates sectioning off areas of her home to assure safety. Esther is also aware of any health issues your dog may have and will ask you about it.”
