“Kasey and Adam took amazing care of Kylo for his first time. Genuinely enjoyed their responsiveness and willing to work with me. Additionally, due to the storm, Kylo had to stay an extra day and they worked with me to ensure we could extend his stay by a day and he was happier then ever when I picked him up. Will definitely rebook and definitely recommend them for all your dog needs.”

“Ana is literally the best and always looks after our babies with the most care and attention! We love her and she is the best sitter we’ve dealt with. Thank you for all do Ana!”

“Rey took great care of our senior dog and kept us informed the whole time we were away! She’s easy to work with and was very helpful with handling unexpected situations that came up.”

About: I have always grown up with dogs and now have one of my own. I am not a dog trainer, but I do my best to make sure my dog is well-behaved and a great pup to be around and would love to do the same for yours! I took a break on Rover for a few years due to health issues, but I am back now and ready to help you care for your fur baby! I make sure to always do my best to keep my dogs safe while walking- this includes proper leash usage and giving space to other walkers. My life revolves around dogs, with daily walks for my own pups, playtime, and loving on other dogs whenever I can. I truly love spending time with dogs as much as I can! Dogs staying in my home are treated as my own dogs- they will receive a lot of outdoor time, treats, and cuddles. I have one senior dog of my own, so a meet and greet beforehand would be preferred.

“This is the second time I’ve left Sterling with Laura & he had an amazing time! She always communicates well and takes such good care of the pups she cares for. Would always recommend leaving your pup here!”

“Patricia was exactly what we needed for our Lilly. She was very loving and watched our dog like it was her own. Lilly was immediately comfortable with her and her house seemed very clean, cozy, and welcoming. She sent daily pictures and updates which is just what we wanted. Lilly loved her so much that she didnt even want to leave. We will be rebooking with her whenever we need a dog sitter again!”

“Marina was so good with my sweet Bea. Her home is a safe and calm environment for any dog. Being away from home is so stressful for my Bea, Marina was so calm and accepting and did her best to keep Bea's stress as minimal as possible. Marina is was also very flexible and worked with my last minute work schedule change. Bea loved her time at Marina's and we will definitely have more stays at her home.”

About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life and have hands-on experience caring for pets for family and friends for several years. I provide loving and patient care and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. As a dog mom of two myself, I understand how important it is to give pet parents peace of mind while they’re away, so I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care! I work Monday thru Friday but my schedule is flexible and I alternate between going into the office and working remotely (typically only going into the office 1-3 days per week). Because I have two dogs at home myself, my schedule is already set up with breaks on the days I’m in the office to allow for potty breaks. I live in a house with a fully fenced in backyard in a safe and quiet location. I do own two friendly golden retrievers myself, but am happy to accommodate your pet by crating mine and/or separating them if your dog is anxious. I will discuss with you what you are comfortable with and adjust as needed!
“Kayla was AMAZING with our pups. They stayed for about 4 days and they came back happy as ever. We have a Dalmatian and a Golden Retriever that are basically puppies so they are very high energy and she was super patient with them and they had a lot of fun playing with her pups. If you are looking for someone to take care of your babies definitely consider Kayla! 💜”

“Emily was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond for my pups. She gave plenty of updates and took the best care of our boys. She was super accommodating and I absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a good Dogsitter.”

About: Hi, I’m Adrianna! I’m a dog mom to three dogs and regularly care for pets in my neighborhood. I know how reassuring it is to get a thoughtful update when someone is visiting your pet, so I’ll send photos and let you know how each visit went. I offer drop in visits for potty breaks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, and companionship. I’m also experienced with giving medications and will carefully follow the instructions you provide. I’m a full time online student, so my schedule is flexible throughout the week. I’m happy to learn your pet’s routine and arrange a meet and greet before their first visit! I’m a full time remote student so my availability is completely open during the week. During the weekends I do ask for a 1 day heads up! I have a huge fenced in backyard with 3 friendly dogs, your pet will be treated like family when they’re in my home. They will be allowed to roam freely unless you prefer crates, and will be loved on constantly, and always supervised.
“Honestly fantastic experience with Damnika. Lots of updates and pictures and very understanding of my dogs quirks. My boy was somewhat cranky when I first dropped him off and didn't want to interact with her dog. She handled it like a pro and by the end of his stay the three of them might as well best buds. Would definitely recommend and use again as needed!”
“Elizabeth took amazing care of my dog, Koa, while my family was faced with some unexpected difficulties. She was very accommodating I needed to extend my booking, and sent lots of pictures with her daily updates. He was having so much fun that he didn’t want to say goodbye at our drop off meeting. I would trust her to care for any of my pets again without hesitation, and recommend her to anyone looking for sitting/boarding services!”

“Ashley was absolutely amazing with our pup! She sent us updates everyday and gave him all the belly rubs his little heart desires. He’s a belly rub addict. LoL!! She was extremely understanding when our trip took a little longer then expected. I appreciated her and her family so much. They’re amazing. We definitely will be using her for boarding our pup in the future. Thanks again Ashley!”

“I dropped off Basal for a few days for his first time away from me. And Kira consistently kept me updated about him, with her and her daughter taking the best care of him. Even when I picked him up he almost rather wanted to stay with them then come home. Would definitely recommend to anyone who cares about their pup.”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Jeongwon took amazing care of my dog and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. My dog was happy, well cared for, and clearly loved. I would absolutely recommend Jeongwon to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!”

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. When I was young I had several pets always. I also had lab dogs half of my life. I am presently a retired school teacher so my schedule is very flexible. I am a local person I have lived here my whole life so I know the area well. My house is very secure and safe. I have no children living at home. It would just be me and my husband at the house.
“Niki is amazing! This was her second time keeping my dog and first keeping our kitten. We were running late coming home from out of town, she worked with us and I greatly appreciated it!”

“Connie cared for our mixed poodle, Zoë, again while we were on vacation. We were so at ease knowing Zoë was in good hands. We highly recommend Connie for boarding your pet. Thanks Connie!”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
