About: Yes am available for Memorial Day! Thanks for considering me for all your critter care. I have provided adult foster care (for humans) and worked with developmentally disabled since 2003, but critters have been a love since...forever. Last year, I lost my last beloved wolfdog from a lineage going back to 1999. Over the years, I have been owned by some 49 dogs of various breeds (counting some puppies). There have also been a variety of lovebirds, parakeets, geese, chickens, gerbils, hamsters, rats, mice, Peruvian pigs, lizards, snakes, salamanders, fish, even spiders and an amazing Mexican huge bee...and trees. Yes, plenty of rescues, too. Where I live, a number of times cats and dogs have been discarded by people for the coyotes to eat (if not found and rehomed). There have also been a pigeon, a dove, a grackle, a ground squirrel, stray dogs in town, even an injured rattlesnake. (Yes, you finally met someone that nursed a rattlesnake back to health.) Ok, no direct care experience with horses, sheep, goats, llamas, peacocks, turkeys, cattle, or pigs, but I do tend to get along great with them. What sets me apart? Well, I think a big thing is only working with one client at a time. That means your critters will not be asked to get along with someone else's critters. (My two cats being the exception--but with repeat stays they aren't strangers, anymore. The chickens and geese have their own separate run.) Another thing, is that I can work with extra-large, powerful dogs, in general (cats would be quarantined into a part of the house). I do understand canine psychology at a high level (I was trained by wolfdogs) and know their rules. I can also work with rescues or critters that have been traumatized. People consider me reliable and trustworthy, and I am dedicated to giving critters exceptional care. Being semi-retired, I have a fully-flexible schedule and can accommodate your needs. Pet care is something that is a passion and has always been a big part of my life. Anyone that knows me at all knows this. IMPORTANT: I believe in dedicated booking--that means I only work with one pet owner at a time. Besides my two cats, there will be no other animals here during your pet's stay. This is done for health and safety reasons, though it does cost me higher overhead--especially during the busy holiday seasons. The huge yard is fully-fenced and about 4' high. If your dog is a leaper, I can cable them while outside (still supervised). There are no other dogs around for them to create drama with, and if they like to bark that is ok, too (neighbors are not near). The furniture is pet-safe (read: has already been scratched and sat on by critters). It is a peace-and-quiet setting in the country, with lots of fresh air and great views. If your dog is high-strung and stressed out, they will find it peaceful and safe here. I can accommodate Zoom check-ins so critters can hear your voice. Can also email/text daily updates.

“Jennifer was able to help me with very short notice when I had another Rover cancel due to an illness. She took good care of my pup and followed our training style. Thanks so much, Peach would love to see you again sometime!”

“Maggie did great with my anxious Pit Lilly. She's even helping to leash train her while I'm out of state. I don't know what I'd do without her. She really came to Lilly's and my rescue. Thank you for taking such great care of my puppy girl Maggie! I really do appreciate seeing the pictures and videos while out on your walks. Mom and I can't thank you enough.”

About: From growing up with pets to being to go-to neighborhood petsitter, I'm ready to spend time with your four legged friend! Since moving to DC, I've realized how much I've missed hanging out with pets. I've cared for dogs of all sizes and ages, including puppies, and am active and ready to play. I have a relatively flexible schedule and can stop by to visit, or spend more time with your friend as needed. I have a relatively flexible teleworking schedule, so I can stop by during the day or spend longer with your pet as needed. Evenings and weekends are typically more open and I can get anywhere around the city pretty quickly. I take care to thoroughly understand your pet's needs and my role in keeping them safe and comfortable. I'm observant and cautious, so I can be wary if anything seems off and I need to address it.

About: I have been providing in house pet care for seven years now. I have experience with dogs, cats, and fish. I also have experience administering oral and injected medications. I love exercising dogs, snuggling with pets, and I’m not afraid of a litter box. Your pets will be taken care like my own! I am currently finishing my degree at the University of Wyoming online, and have plenty of free time to make sure your pets are taken care of! I am an active person and enjoy going on walks. I value a regular schedule to keep pets comfortable and on their normal routine. I am very communicative and make sure to keep in contact with pet owners throughout the time I spend with their pets. I respect your space and keep all entryways secure, and regularly check in too make sure all is well.

About: Hi! I have extensive experience caring for dogs of all breeds—including those with specialized care plans involving medications, wound care, and senior needs. I live in Laramie primarily but am from Cheyenne so I care for pets in both cities. I raised my own dog into her senior years and managed all aspects of her health up until she passed. I have always felt more whole surrounded by pets and this has carried after losing my own. I've cared for both solo dogs, pairs and groups and while I have more experience with dogs, I’ve lived with and cared for cats too—and I’m always eager to learn more about them. I prioritize your pet’s comfort and safety and provide consistent updates so you’re always in the loop with their care! I am a flexible individual and appreciate open ended communication in regards to your needs as a pet parent and what your pet needs. If their are special considerations for your pet all I ask is that we are clear about them so I can adequatly plan to care for them in a way that meets and EXCEEDS your expectations. I tend to keep everything clean and tidy! I want your pet to feel as if they are not at home with a stranger and rather a friend. Depending on where your pet likes to sleep and hang out is where I will stay unless they like their own space! Regardless, I like to take care of any space as if it is my own and love to take pictures of pets enjoying themselves to share with you.

About: I have experience caring for my own cat and my family’s dog while they have gone on extended trips (walking/feeding/playing). I really like to meet new animals! I would love scheduling a call, FaceTime, or visit before caring for any pets to see what they need. If I’m not the right match for your pet’s needs, no worries! While I do work a full-time job, it is remote and has flexible hours. This helps me care for pets with different needs and services. I hope to build an awesome client base now and continue with Rover as much as possible. While I love treating all animals as one of my own, I will always defer to any rules and wishes of the owners first and foremost. Safety is a top priority for me, so I like to meet with pets first, takes notes, and understand their backstory so I know what to do and avoid during their time with me.

About: I’ve loved animals my whole life and love to let them out and play! I’m the go to pet sitter for my family and friends! I’m also the lady that pets every animal every chance I get! I’m a stay at home mama so I need something to break up my day and what better way to do that than with lots of furry animals! I have four cats myself, who are more of my children rather than just pets so I treat every fur baby like they are my own and make sure they are happy and healthy before I leave them alone!

About: I’ve always had such a special bond with every animal I’ve met, my mom gave me that trait. There has always been a pet in my life, whether it be dogs or cats. Ive worked at a grooming shop for the past 3 years when I lived in Cody Wyoming, where I have learned so much as well as pet CPR. Ive also done a lot of pet sitting for my own friends as well as family friends. Of course, Ive always been there to help take care of my own pets with my family, they’re definitely just as much kids as my brother and I. As a college kid, I miss my dogs and kitty back home so much, so anytime I can have with pets I take advantage of! Im currently a full time student that has a part time job on campus. Im always home every week day by 5 and Im here most weekends unless other prearranged plans happen or trips home. My work is very flexible to be able to come home and check on pets/give potty breaks! While I don’t have a fenced in yard, I live right next to a big, beautiful park. I need motivation to go out and go on walks, especially if I have the cutest partner to do it with!

“Excellent job. Kathleen has good control over the dogs. She treats them with respect and care while also being mindful of their safety. The dogs love to see Kathleen. They are always excited!”

About: I've had small dogs all my life. I currently take care of two JRT's. One is a senior at 17 and she is partially blind and deaf. The other is 11 years old and a complete people greeter. I am currently available all times of the week. Just ask and I'll be available. I am flexible and can rearrange my schedule to meet your needs. I have a small fenced in yard and let my dogs out often and they get at least two walks a day. I can meet the needs of your furry family member too.

About: My name is Sage and I will be starting pharmacy school at UWYO this fall. I moved to Laramie from Northern VA where I got my undergrad degree in biology. I have always loved animals and love meeting new pets. I have been pet sitting since I was 10, caring for my neighbor's animals before expanding to Rover. I love going for walks and dropping in on furry faces. Please message me for any service requests. I am available anytime, on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. I am looking to meet people and make some money before starting my program this fall. At my home in Virginia, I often played fetch with my family dog and her friends. My dog loves tennis balls and anything that squeaks, I love running around with her.

About: I've taken care of pets all my life, both my own and those of other people. I have grown up most of my life with at least two dogs and a cat, and as such am intimately familiar with the care routines for both, as well as how to approach different personalities and how to play with them. I also have experience caring for an array of other pets, including birds, lizards, and fish. I'm a college student on summer break between semesters, and as such my availability is relatively flexible until I return to campus in August. I am available for services any day of the week, but I do have a part-time job on weekdays in the afternoon. I may have certain days I have to take off for work responsibilities. I am unable to provide home services right now. However, I do have an abundance of time for walks and dog park visits, and I am comfortable pet-sitting.

About: My love for animals runs deep! I have cared for all sorts of pets, from livestock to reptiles to common house pets, whether they were my own or belonged to others. I volunteered for many years with a local rescue caring for stray animals, fostering kittens/cats and puppies/dogs, as well as taking shifts cleaning kennels and feeding and caring for the pets the rescue had in their care. Through this I gained valuable experience helping animals with a wide range of health concerns and temperaments, as well as administering medications. I love to take dogs on walks and spend time with animals who crave human attention. I have 3 cats of my own in the city and would love to care for yours! My schedule is flexible and easily worked around. I am starting a job at a cafe and classes in a couple of weeks but nothing is off limits currently! I care for pets by following the instructions given to me by their owners with love and care. I am respectful of animals and their boundaries, while noticing when something may be amiss and notifying owners. I am always willing to clean up messes or take the long way home with a dog that might want the extra steps, or sit for an hour if time allows to let a cat get their pets in.

Madelynn K.
“I was out of town last fall for a couple weeks. I couldn’t find anyone to take care of my cat, Qwig, so I posted on my socials looking for some help. I didn’t know Maddie that well, but she offered to take care of my cat. I was skeptical at first, but she did the best job of anyone I have ever had take care of my cat. Not only did she water, feed, and clean the cat litter, she spent over 3 hours/ day with Qwig, gave her warm milk, and played with her. She sent pictures and updates for peace of mind. I have not left town since without asking Maddie to take care of my cat.”

Our dog is 4 years old and likes to play as well as cuddle. Sage is happy to do both! She focuses on the dog's needs and also keeps to the routines we request. If she has a question, she asks, which I appreciate. My husband and I travel a bit and we have other dog sitting options but we feel most comfortable when Sage is in charge.”
