“Kathy was amazing! We recently had her do daily walking for our dog Raolcan. She was communicative and professional, friendly and did a great job with Raolcan. I know he was happy to make a new friend for these last few weeks. Definitely recommend her! Thanks Kathy!”

“Nikki has been AMAZING! She’s punctual and my dog Sam always is so happy to see her. He’s a rescue and she tries to accommodate him during the walk to make him most comfortable. I’m also 100% comfortable having her in my house. I’m happy to have a repeating schedule with her and feel like I really lucked out :)”

About: My mom has been dog sitter for years, so I have seen every color hair on the couches and floors. I do have 1 senior shih tzu, and a 3 year old shorkie that has an excessive amount of energy. I recently had a part time job that fit perfectly with my school schedule. This year my school schedule is a little unique and after awhile I felt over worked. I chose to work with animals because I like their presence, and it doesn’t feel like a job. I have 4 animals that live in my house. 2 cats, and 2 dogs. It is very organized in my home because we have a routine. When I come into a clients home I do what’s best for their pets, and if possible stick to their routine.

About: Are you looking for a caring dog walker, professional trainer, or pet sitter? Animals are my passion! I would love to help you maintain your pet’s health and well being through exercise and tender loving care. Whether you work all day, or if you’re going out of town and don’t want to kennel, I will ensure your fur babies get a good walk, love, attention, and play-time while you are away. I can also provide in-home dog training. I use positive reinforcement techniques and reward-based training methods. The time I spend with your dog is focused on helping develop better relationships, understanding, and bonds between you and your fur baby. I truly care about your happiness and peace of mind. I will love your pets like my own, send you pictures while you’re away and keep in contact with you as much as you would like. I have many happy clients and references. I am very comfortable with pets that have special needs and medical needs. I am comfortable and knowledge with all ages and all breeds. I am also pet CPR certified. I am very attentive to animals and I will notice if your pet is not feeling their best so you will never have to worry with them in my care. I have also been around horses most of my life and owned my own. So I’m available for farm sitting and horse care as well. Goats, chickens, horses... I can care for them all. I’ll be happy to discuss your needs. I am a stay at home mom and my husband works from home so I have flexibility in my schedule most. I am able to do most weekdays and weekends with advance notice. I come to your home and offer the ability for your dog to be in their own safe place and environment. I will meet the needs that you have specified for your dog and make sure they are fed/watered, pottier, played with or walked. I treat your home with respect and clean up after any mess the dog has made while you were away. I will also keep you informed of your dogs behaviors and give you a smile by sending pictures of them happy and having fun while you’re away.

“Diane was amazing, and went above and beyond. My dog seemed to love her. We had a piece of mind knowing that Diane was there for our baby. Definitely recommend Diane and will use her again.”

About: I have prior experience working as a member of the kennel staff at a pet boarding facility for roughly 4 years. I worked with all types of breeds, temperaments, and sizes, so I feel extremely comfortable with a large majority of dogs and cats. Duties of this job included walking, facilitating group play times, cleaning, feedings, socialization, and administering medications. Additionally, I served as a volunteer for the Guide Dog Foundation for 2 years while in school at UGA. I helped train dogs and socialize dogs by bringing them to class with me. I also took them on walks, the dog park, and coordinated play times with other guide dogs in training. I worked with dogs from 3 months old to 1 and a half years old. I love all animals and would love to take care of your pets! I’m currently unemployed as I’m preparing to start Physician Assistant school this summer. I’m free at most hours Monday-Friday and select weekends. This will be my main commitment prior to starting school. I currently have three dogs, a shih tzu and two labs. We have a large fenced in front yard and back yard in which I take the dogs out to play multiple times a day. I also enjoy taking my dogs for walks at local trails and parks. I believe that all dogs need adequate enrichment to stay happy and healthy, so I emphasize that when caring for any pet.

About: My name is Bea and I am a dog-lover trapped in a cat-owners body (just kidding, I love my kitties)! Don't hesitate to contact me about my availability! I have altered my services: I am currently only doing walking and drop-in visits. Please contact me directly to ask about my availability for the days that you need services. I am usually in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, which would mean getting back to Canton around 4pm. I usually work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays, and can work around my work schedule to accommodate daytime visits. I believe that each pet needs to come around at their own pace. I will never force your pet to interact with me outside of what is absolutely necessary (feeding/walking).

About: I want to take care of peoples pets like they are my own. I’ve had my own pets (cat and dog) my whole life. I also take care of dogs and cats for other people all the time. When I am home from college. I am usually very free all the time and I love taking care of you guys dogs and cats! I will make sure to follow all the clients rules and watch them like the pets are my own. I will always make sure to leave everything clean and treat the houses like my own.

About: Heya, I go by “Kye” (Kī, sounds like Kai). To me, it’s an honor, when you entrust your pet(s) & home to me. As a pro petsitter since ‘09, including more than 132 furry friends in Cherokee County, you are assured your paws are in good hands. Let’s message to see if we’re a good fit :) Petsitting is my main source of income. My other responsibilities include: a 1st-grader whose other parent helps as needed; plus part-time work that can be done remotely. Safety is my top concern. I’m very aware of doors, locks, latches, leashes, quirks, etc. I look out for the safety of your pets, home, myself (& child if we agree), & those around us. Thankfully I haven’t had any safety issues since I began in ‘09

About: Hi! I’m Jenn and I have loved animals for as long as I can remember! I’d love the opportunity to get to you know you and your pet and help keep them active, cuddled, and happy while you are away. Choosing a pet sitter that is a good fit for your pup or kitty is important. Below is some information about me and our home to help with your decision. If you feel we may be a match, I look forward to hearing from you! My experience: I have cared for pets for 25 years and have 10 years of experience pet sitting and dog walking. In addition I have experience as a zoo keeper and working in a vet clinic. I am comfortable helping train your pet, caring for senior pets, and administering medications. About our home & yard: We have four dogs ourselves (Maui, Momo, Samson, and Coco) ranging from 10 to 50 lbs. Our little pack is very friendly and loves making new friends to run with in our fully fenced 0.3 acre back yard. I work from home running my own business and treat your pet like my own during their stay. Our dogs are with me in the home throughout the day. We take breaks at least every 2 hours to potty and play fetch (spending more time out in the yard on nice days, always supervised play) and go for evening walks. We include unlimited belly rubs and ear scratches at no additional charge! :) I am happy to make accommodations based on your pet's normal routine, such as a midday walk, to help your pup feel acclimated. I enjoy sending photos and updates of your pet's adventures because I know how much I love receiving these from our pet sitters when we are away! We also understand that sometimes pets are happier in their own space. I am available to make drop in visits and provide walks. Based on availability I can home sit as well and will follow your pet's normal routine to ensure they are as comfortable as possible while you are away. While I would not recommend boarding your feline companions in our home (for their own comfort), I am happy to complete drop-in visits or house sitting for your cats. I've had five amazing feline pets and have a special place in my heart for the kitties as well! Why I love pet sitting: I have been an animal lover my whole life, especially cats and dogs. They always put a smile on my face with their unique and loving personalities. As a pet mom I understand the challenges that come with finding pet sitters you can trust who are also affordable. It is very rewarding to me to be able to provide peace of mind to my clients and the joy I get from playing with your pet is icing on the cake for me. What could be better?!

“Nikki is fantastic! She is clearly a dog person! She communicated really well and did everything we asked of her and more. Most importantly, the dogs loved her! We will definitely be asking Nikki to help again!”

Kye W.
“Kristy W is my daughter and I know that she has had a life-long love for animals, and especially for dogs. She began pet sitting in 2007, and has developed a very nice business, now called 'Pet Love L.L.C.' Kristy lived with us for over six years before marrying Jonathan W in 2017. We live in an active-adult retirement community in Canton called Soleil. She conducted her pet sitting business with most of her clients being Soleil couples and widows. These older folks are very devoted to and particular about their pets. With their children now on their own, their furry companions are so important to them. Additional evidence of Kristy’s and her husband Jonathan's, concern for animals is that they are foster care-givers for Clarkston, an older dog that has not yet been adopted from Angels Among Us Pet Rescue. My fatherly biases aside, I know that any pet that Kristy takes care of will receive the responsible and loving care that I have observed since her early childhood.”

Jennifer S.
