“Charity and her family are awesome humans. This was our first time “boarding” our dog. I put boarding in quotations because quite honestly, our dog got to be part of Charity’s family for the week, and it probably felt more like a spa and playful summer camp to our dog than boarding. We usually send our dog to stay with family or friends the one time per year we actually get to leave town. So we were anxious sending her off via Rover for our first time. Charity is super sweet, kind, clearly loves animals, and definitely knows how to handle them. Our anxieties were immediately at ease when we met her and her family. She further eased them with daily photo updates, and she even wiped our dog’s eyes with warm towels due to some allergies! Ya’ll, this dog had it better during boarding than she did on our farm. Our dog is a husky and though pretty chill for that breed, I’m 100% confident in Charity and trusting in all her abilities to handle and care for any pup. She loved on our dog like it was her own. She also was very flexible when our flight home was delayed and we had to extend an additional night. We certainly recommend her and would definitely use her again.”

“Just wanted to get on here and say I highly recommend Reyna and her husband, our story is a bit different, you see we have, my husband and I , a cane corso mix with pit male dog Moses. . He’s my baby and my what our kids call my empty nester dog lol. He follows me everywhere and he’s the biggest cuddle bug, he sleeps at my feet you get the point…he’s my baby. So when we decided to take our adult kids and grandkids to Tybee Island for the week, we started looking at where to board him since he’s never been on a trip that far away and the house we had rented had a policy on bully, big dog breeds. We had boarded him before, with a different company, 2 times before. The second time though when we picked him up he was acting very skittish, he was cowed down, his nails were jagged and the lady at the desk said he had had diarrhea, which they never told me when I called for a update. Needless to say I was upset and so when looking for a boarder this time we were very cautious, and concerned. I read all the reviews on Reyna on Rover and I told my husband I like this one. We met with Reyna and her husband and Moses done so good, he ran the yard, played fetch , met their other dog and seemed so content. They went over how they hade separate sections for the dogs to play in, the kennels, we felt so good bout them. Dec 26 we ended up running late to drop off Moses before our trip so all the other dogs that they were boarding was outside, but Moses got anxious bout all the barking, Reyna and her husband took Moses into the kennel and assured us that they would bring him out, after getting all the other dogs back in, to acclimate him. Bring out several dogs at a time. They said they would update us. So after talking to them a bit and feeling better about leaving him, we drove back to Blue Ridge. Reyna ended up calling me a couple hours later and asked how to get Moses back in the house, that he was nervous, and anxious and he wouldn’t come to her. She had tried for over 30 minutes before she called me. I told her some stuff to try, when I called back she said it wasn’t working that he was just very scared acting. She also had I think it was her sister that’s a trainer, trying to get him to come to them, they sit in the ground with him, she told me that she knew someone that could come by our house to check on him but I didn’t wanna leave him at our house that long. So I called our vacation rental company explained what was going on, thankfully they made an exception with a bigger pet deposit and I told Reyna just to leave him alone and we were on our way to get him. When we pulled up, he came running up to us, Reyna said he was a different dog when we got there, he sit while they petted him, and put his leash on, the kids were petting him. She and her sister kept apologizing and saying they tried everything to get him to come to them but he just kept running away and running around. I am super grateful that she called me instead of just putting him in the kennel and leaving him there. She was genuinely worried bout him instead of just making money off of him and for that we do recommend her and her husband for boarding. Her husband called to check up on us and Moses the next day, and he apologized that Moses wasn’t able to stay and how they tried so hard to get him acclimated. I said it was all good, that Im glad they called me. That meant so much to us that they cared so much. He’s my baby and I wouldn’t want him to be miserable. So Moses got to go on a beach vacation, he did amazing on the ride down and back and he made new friends wherever we went while we were there.”

I’m experienced with large and small dogs as well as dogs with seizures and heart problems. Hi! I’m a part-time employee with a flexible schedule, which means I have plenty of time during the day for drop-ins, walks, or snuggles with your pup. I also welcome overnight guests, so whether you need quick check-ins or extended care, I’ve got you covered. Your pets will get lots of love, attention, and play while you’re away! I have a fenced in yard that will keep your fur babies safe. I live on a culdasac that has limited traffic and a neighborhood with beautiful areas to walk along the sidewalk. I typically walk my goldens 1.5 miles a day. I have a baby gate that prevents the dogs from going upstairs if needed, and another gate at the stop of the stairs to prevent them from going down if stairs are a problem for your fur baby. Dogs are like people in our home, always with us, cuddling on the couch and sleeping in our rooms. I crate trained my dogs as puppies and am familiar and comfortable with crates if one is dropped off.

Playtimes and naptimes will be intermittent throughout the day. I have comfy doggie beds throughout the house and under my office desk. My home is clean and safe. I have a secure, fenced in yard with many areas to explore and space to run around. All gates are padlocked. I also stay outside with the dogs that are in my care. I leave a full bowl of water out 24 -7. I allow dogs to sleep in my bed if that is what they are accustomed to, I can also crate them if that is preferred. Your dog(s) will be safe and happy as guests in my home. I have a Red Cross Certification in Pet First Aid in the rare occasion there would be a need. I am also sensitive to dogs with thunder and firework fears, we have a comfy furnished basement space that mutes the bad sounds and we hang out there until everything calms down.

About: I am new to Rover but I was a foster for a shelter in Florida for 5 years, I have had many different types of dogs and cats. I love animals and would have a lot more if I could! I stay at home all day and I am available to care for your pet anytime. I love being around animals weather it’s playing ball or just walking. I live on 3.5 acre and have a fenced yard. About: Hi, I’m Charity! Having had animals all my life, I truly have a deep love and respect for them. To this day, one of my most favorite jobs was my very first job in high school at a dog boarding facility a short four wheel drive through our woods. My responsibilities there were to let dogs out, love on, clean/sanitize kennels, feed and administer medications, and clean up the dog yards. I gained so much experience with different breeds while there, which made me fall more in love with dogs specifically. As an adult, my first dog was a West Highland Terrier named Gabby that my then fiancé (now husband) surprised me with. She sadly passed at 14.5 years old in October of 2024. We also have bench bred/English Labradors named Abel & Jett. Jett is the first dog I’ve had that I got involved with dog shows and sports with. He has multiple titles from obedience, dock diving, fast cat, conformation, and hunt tests. I am a stay at home mom which allows me the freedom to be available for your dog majority of the day aside from when I need to run errands. BOARDING: We have a spacious home on a culdesac with a large fenced in backyard. When caring for pets in my home, it is incredibly important to me to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and well-loved while providing lots of snuggles and play time. Daily updates of how your dog is doing along with pictures are sent to help keep your mind at ease. During a client dog’s stay, they will be on the main floor with our family. We have a basement with access to the backyard complete with a dog room furnished with 3 4ft x 6ft kennels, Kuranda beds, & orthopedic beds that my personal dogs will utilize, and is available for client dogs as well if needed. I also have a baby gate on our laundry room doorway off the kitchen that can be used for client dogs to have their own private space. This allows me to ensure every dog stays safe when not supervised. *I typically only board one client at a time. This allows your dog(s) to get all the attention and, I believe, have an easier transition staying in a new place vs there being multiple dogs from different clients. If a ‘regular’ requests the same dates, I will sometimes make an exception and let both families know there will be an additional dog. With my home set up, I am able to comfortably keep several client dogs separated and will only allow interaction between them with the approval of both families. DROP INS: During drop-in visits, our time is spent going out in their backyard for potty breaks and play, going on walks, getting loved on, and fed if needed. Any quick tidying I can do in the house (vacuuming, mop up if it’s muddy outside, wipe down counters, scoop out a litter box, etc) I am happy to do as well.

She offered to bring Xander a treat for the first introduction and even sent me a picture of what she gave him. About: I've had doggies since I was 8, and I've helped take care of other people's pups since I was 12. I've had lots of experience with the elderly and disabled pups as well. I have had training experience, but am not quite experienced enough to call myself a trainer. If there is training you would like to continue working on with your pups, I will do my absolute best to help in any way I can. Ps. I have a beautiful 10-year-old husky and pointer mix named Skye, she is who you see in the photo! I am a college student with a part-time remote job, so my schedule is very open. “Charity and her family are awesome humans. This was our first time “boarding” our dog. I put boarding in quotations because quite honestly, our dog got to be part of Charity’s family for the week, and it probably felt more like a spa and playful summer camp to our dog than boarding. We usually send our dog to stay with family or friends the one time per year we actually get to leave town. So we were anxious sending her off via Rover for our first time. Charity is super sweet, kind, clearly loves animals, and definitely knows how to handle them. Our anxieties were immediately at ease when we met her and her family. She further eased them with daily photo updates, and she even wiped our dog’s eyes with warm towels due to some allergies! Ya’ll, this dog had it better during boarding than she did on our farm. Our dog is a husky and though pretty chill for that breed, I’m 100% confident in Charity and trusting in all her abilities to handle and care for any pup. She loved on our dog like it was her own. “Just wanted to get on here and say I highly recommend Reyna and her husband, our story is a bit different, you see we have, my husband and I , a cane corso mix with pit male dog Moses. . He’s my baby and my what our kids call my empty nester dog lol. He follows me everywhere and he’s the biggest cuddle bug, he sleeps at my feet you get the point…he’s my baby. So when we decided to take our adult kids and grandkids to Tybee Island for the week, we started looking at where to board him since he’s never been on a trip that far away and the house we had rented had a policy on bully, big dog breeds. We had boarded him before, with a different company, 2 times before. The second time though when we picked him up he was acting very skittish, he was cowed down, his nails were jagged and the lady at the desk said he had had diarrhea, which they never told me when I called for a update. Needless to say I was upset and so when looking for a boarder this time we were very cautious, and concerned. I read all the reviews on Reyna on Rover and I told my husband I like this one. We met with Reyna and her husband and Moses done so good, he ran the yard, played fetch , met their other dog and seemed so content. They went over how they hade separate sections for the dogs to play in, the kennels, we felt so good bout them. Dec 26 we ended up running late to drop off Moses before our trip so all the other dogs that they were boarding was outside, but Moses got anxious bout all the barking, Reyna and her husband took Moses into the kennel and assured us that they would bring him out, after getting all the other dogs back in, to acclimate him. Bring out several dogs at a time. They said they would update us. So after talking to them a bit and feeling better about leaving him, we drove back to Blue Ridge. Reyna ended up calling me a couple hours later and asked how to get Moses back in the house, that he was nervous, and anxious and he wouldn’t come to her. She had tried for over 30 minutes before she called me. I told her some stuff to try, when I called back she said it wasn’t working that he was just very scared acting. She also had I think it was her sister that’s a trainer, trying to get him to come to them, they sit in the ground with him, she told me that she knew someone that could come by our house to check on him but I didn’t wanna leave him at our house that long. So I called our vacation rental company explained what was going on, thankfully they made an exception with a bigger pet deposit and I told Reyna just to leave him alone and we were on our way to get him. When we pulled up, he came running up to us, Reyna said he was a different dog when we got there, he sit while they petted him, and put his leash on, the kids were petting him. She and her sister kept apologizing and saying they tried everything to get him to come to them but he just kept running away and running around. I am super grateful that she called me instead of just putting him in the kennel and leaving him there. She was genuinely worried bout him instead of just making money off of him and for that we do recommend her and her husband for boarding. Her husband called to check up on us and Moses the next day, and he apologized that Moses wasn’t able to stay and how they tried so hard to get him acclimated. I said it was all good, that Im glad they called me. That meant so much to us that they cared so much. He’s my baby and I wouldn’t want him to be miserable. So Moses got to go on a beach vacation, he did amazing on the ride down and back and he made new friends wherever we went while we were there.”

We worried about them causing her trouble and after the first night we were afraid we might have to cancel our vacation. Pat assured us that they would be fine, and they were. She was patient, even cooked them chicken and rice when they got diarrhea. She sent pictures and updates on them which really relieved our minds.
