Frances (Grace) was great to agree to do a drop in visit on short notice and to come by and meet my fur babes beforehand. My dogs who can be standoffish took to Grace pretty quick! Appreciate that I felt totally comfortable with knowing Grace was going to be checking in on my my dogs while I was at work!!!!

Annie was absolutely amazing! Slim Shady and Cheddar Bob loved her! I was worried that Cheddar might stay hidden during my trip (he’s shy) but he was waiting for her every day. Annie sent pictures and videos and kept me updated daily. So thankful for Annie and the peace of mind I had being away for a whole week.

About: I’ve owned some kind of dog or cat all my life. From 150lbs to 20lbs, then down to cat sizes! We currently have a 15 year old Great Pyrenees/Border Collie mix. I am a stay at home mom of a 2 year old, I am available regularly and on the go. Some notice is great but can usually make myself available asap! We have 5 acres in the country and a decent sized fenced area for dogs. Sadie loves getting her freedom of being outdoors while also being safe. They are also taken on walks regularly and I have experience with dogs who don’t get along with cats so it’s always a priority to make sure your pet is safe.

About: With several years of experience in professional pet sitting and house sitting, I specialize in providing high-quality, reliable care tailored to each pet's unique personality. Whether it’s a high-energy working breed or a senior dog needing a gentle touch, I ensure they stay happy, safe, and in their preferred routine. What sets my care apart: High-Drive & Working Breeds: As the owner of a Belgian Malinois, I have a deep understanding of high-energy, intelligent breeds. I am patient, attentive, and confident handling dogs that require structured walks or mental engagement. Senior & Medical Support: I am experienced in caring for elderly dogs and am fully comfortable administering medications. I understand the extra patience and monitoring senior pets often require. Multi-Pet & Farm Care: From managing multi-dog households (including large breeds like Labs) to caring for cats and chickens, I am well-versed in the logistics of diverse households. I treat every animal as if they were my own. My goal is to provide you with total peace of mind, knowing your home is secure and your pets are receiving expert, compassionate attention. I work a consistent weekly schedule, which allows me to offer reliable availability on: • Tuesday & Friday afternoons • Limited weekend hours I’m happy to accommodate drop-in visits and walks during those times. I keep my schedule updated and communicate clearly, so you always know when your pet will be cared for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and any specific instructions you provide. During walks and visits, I stay attentive to surroundings and avoid unsafe situations, especially around other animals if your pet prefers space. In your home, I treat your space with respect and make sure your pet stays in a calm, familiar environment. I also provide updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away.

About: I have taken care of dogs for over 36 years now. Fed, housed, and taken them to the vet when needed. I walk them also. I work part time at a retail store approximately 15 hours a week. This would allow plenty of time to watch your pet when needed. The instructions given by the client would be followed exactly and maybe a little fun included also maybe. It's all up to the clients wishes.

About: i’m 20 years old and very interactive when it comes to animals. i have been surrounded by animals of all sort my whole life. i have a 9 year Chihuahua and a 2 year old texas heeler of my own. also a 9 year old gelding(my profile picture) i’d like to say im good with high energy animals, shy, and nervous. my heeler is very nervous and can come across as aggressive but he’s never hurt anyone or any dogs. he’s more clingy but loves to ride around and help with outside chores. i’m using rover as a side job due to being in school for vet tech! i try my best to make as much time for any requests from clients in need! i grew up being the type of person to always volunteer at humane societies, helping strays, and taking in animals in need. i’ve owned rabbits, hamsters, lizards, fish, cats, and sugar gliders. i’m more than open minded no matter the size or breed and am always willing to learn about animals! please feel free to reach out with any questions or requests! thank you so much as of right now, i am taking classes at icc for vet tech and looking to make a little extra money so most days im available. i can always arrange my schedule to fit needs as much as possible. with my heeler, he goes a lot of places with me, especially the barn! he’s high energy so days were not at the barn, we’re outside playing with toys, going to tractor supply to take baths, picking out toys, or he has other furry friends at home to play with.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Brown Arrow. On Rover:

  • 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
