“Having just traveled across the country, we found ourselves staying with relatives for a time while we waited for our new apartment to be open for us. Our standard poodle, Ranger, was not understanding why we never seemed to be going home, and that was what he wanted most to do. We were very thankful that our relatives had been able to accommodate us, however, having Ranger in their home was not working well for them. So, we looked for a rover.com care person in the area to help us out for the days until we could move into our apartment. That’s where Dee came in. She was gracious and accommodating. She opened her home to Ranger for ten days, and made him welcome. In other boarding situations in the past, he was cared for, but he ALWAYS lost a considerable amount of weight. Not with Dee!! Dee gave Ranger all of the TLC he needed even during this time that was so uncertain for him. She got her hands right into his food and mixed his Fresh Pet food with his kibble so that every piece of kibble was coated with the tastier food. And it worked! Because even though he may have been missing us, he ate! And he didn’t lose any weight! We could tell she had gone the extra mile with him, and we are very grateful for the care she gave him. Five stars doesn’t even say enough for how happy we are with the care she gave our Ranger.”

The only time I didn't have a dog in my care was when I was in college living in dorm rooms, and even then I went to the local shelter to walk and love on puppies while mine were back home. I have experience training dogs and caring for puppies. I love all dogs, big, small and everything in-between! I am a stay at home Mom right now with young children. About: My name is Carlee and I’ve been pet/house sitting for about 6 years now. I have experience taking care of small and medium sized dogs, I’ve taken care of both senior dogs and puppies as well as cats! I’d love to grow my experience and am willing to learn just about anything! I currently work 30 hours a week at my regular job, but my schedule is never consistent. I have still been able to work around it and do stop ins regularly for my clients. Typically I work 6-8 hour shifts so I would not be able to stop in during that time. But I am always able to stop in immediately before my shift and directly after. Aside from that, I am able to stay either full time with your pet or do stop ins however often you would prefer. If you have questions feel free to ask! I am very easy going and understand the importance of a solid routine schedule for your furbabies. I am able to either stay at your house or do frequent drop ins to feed, play, and walk. I am experienced with senior dogs who need special accommodations and am willing to learn as I go!

About: Hi I’m Natalie. I am an animal LOVER! I have experience with dogs, cats, small mammals, farm animals, certain reptiles, and birds. I have a big heart for animals of all kinds. If you want someone with compassion, love, and knowledge of different breed temperaments, then I’m your girl! I am also very well at handling larger dogs that pull on leashes. I personally have a psychiatric service dog that’s an XL American Bully, a rescued rabbit and a Congo African grey parrot. I can board through out the entire week though, and I also keep a doggie cam to watch them while I’m gone for errands and chores. I am a believer that dogs should be allowed on furniture, because it’s better for their hips. I can let them free roam or I have an xxl kennel with a Tempur-pedic mattress (whichever you prefer). I also have plenty of treats and my back door accesses a small woods patch (half an acre that backs up to 18 acres of non used land). I keep my pets in my bedroom so there won’t be any interactions to cause unwanted stress. I do have a dog. They will stay separate unless you don’t mind :))

“Having just traveled across the country, we found ourselves staying with relatives for a time while we waited for our new apartment to be open for us. Our standard poodle, Ranger, was not understanding why we never seemed to be going home, and that was what he wanted most to do. We were very thankful that our relatives had been able to accommodate us, however, having Ranger in their home was not working well for them. So, we looked for a rover.com care person in the area to help us out for the days until we could move into our apartment. That’s where Dee came in. She was gracious and accommodating. She opened her home to Ranger for ten days, and made him welcome. In other boarding situations in the past, he was cared for, but he ALWAYS lost a considerable amount of weight. Not with Dee!! Dee gave Ranger all of the TLC he needed even during this time that was so uncertain for him. She got her hands right into his food and mixed his Fresh Pet food with his kibble so that every piece of kibble was coated with the tastier food. And it worked! Because even though he may have been missing us, he ate! And he didn’t lose any weight! We could tell she had gone the extra mile with him, and we are very grateful for the care she gave him. Five stars doesn’t even say enough for how happy we are with the care she gave our Ranger.”
