“I have hired Zoe twice now to take care of my cat. She is always on time, sends her report cards and pictures! My cat is very responsive to her and enjoys her company. I will continue to hire Zoe if she is available. I trust her completely.”

“Kari is amazing and obviously feels very passionate about keeping animals safe and happy in the absence of their pet parents. She is very detailed and easy to communicate with. Her updates were well documented. I'm so grateful to have found someone trustworthy that allowes me and my family to vacation without worrying about our pets. I highly recommend her and we are definitely going to use her again. If I could give her six stars I would.”

About: I have personally owned dogs as long as I can remember. From Rottweilers to Chihuahuas. I have dog sat numerous times, between boarding at my house and house sitting at a client’s home. I’m a true dog-lover at heart. I love dogs in all shapes and sizes. They are the most loving and most loyal. They really are better than most people! Lol. I have a sweet, energetic, laid-back, one and a half year old mini poodle. I also have a 3 year old hedgehog, but since he’s nocturnal and likes to keep to himself, pets don’t interact with him. He’s caged in my room and will be out of the way. I also have experience in taking care of senior dogs including: administering meds, feeding picky eaters, helping with potty breaks, helping with walks, etc. I have personally trained all of the dogs that I have owned. I have lots of puppy experience and don’t believe in “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.” as I have also trained older dogs that I have rescued. I currently work from home and I am usually off by late afternoon/early evening. I can be home with your baby. We can play and take as many potty breaks as needed. I also don’t work on the weekends and like to fill my weekends up with fun activities! I have a fenced in backyard and a safe neighborhood to go on walks. Your doggo would have complete freedom of the house (as long as I’m home, of course). Doggies are allowed on the furniture and allowed to sleep with me. If they are crate trained, of course that’s okay too.

“Makayla has been a great and reliable sitter for our cat Hobbes. She made sure to include lots of photos for each visit and responded quickly to questions. She made us feel like our cat was well cared for.”

“Jazmine did a fab job with my old puppy. He was applied and loved while I had to be out of town. I’ve never used a sitter before, but would ABSOLUTELY use this lovely human again.”

About: I have a lot of experience with various animals besides dogs and cats. I also have worked with live stock, lizards and exotics. I worked at a massive boarding kennel were I learned to administrate various medications pills and insulin shots, learned basic training techniques, and over all general care for domestic animals. From this experience I started my own pet sitting business which I did off and on for a few years. Then pick up some business for a little extra cash in dog walking and pet sitting. I have taken a break from that to raise my daughter and become more established at my current job, but miss working with animals and would like to get back to helping those I can. I mainly would like to assist in dog walking, but if some pet sitting needs to be had, I'd be more than happy to assist there as well. I found from working in the boarding kennel, many dogs do find it more comfortable in a home setting then a kennel. I do work full time, M-Th 6:30 to 5 pm. I can take in 1 to 2 dogs in my home during this time, I do have a dog door and do come home for an hr for lunch. I do have a dog, so any dogs in my home would need to get along with mine. However, I can do dog walking in the evenings on Thursdays starting at 6 pm to 8 pm during summer months. Otherwise Fridays and weekends are best. Any time Friday, though occasionally I may not be available in the afternoons due to dropping off my daughter, Sat I can be available anytime, and Sunday Mornings and Evenings are best. Some afternoons are available if I don't have to pick up my daughter. I have a dog door with a 4 ft fence and a 6 ft fence on the sides separating my neighbors and I. If your dog is playful, I have a very playful and submissive dog. I'm very respectful of other peoples space and am great at communicating the needs of the owner for their pet. I'm accustomed to following written instructions and do like to meet ahead of time to meet the pet and go over feeding and/or medication instructions. I may have my 5 year old daughter with me, however, if the animal does not do well with children, please communicate that so no incidences happen. If I cannot have my daughter around, will be harder for me to commit to any sort of sitting or walking.

About: Since I was young, I’ve had a special connection with animals. I’ve grown up with pets my whole life. I’ve also been a foster parent for dogs with special needs until they find their forever home. I have house sat and pet sat for many family and friends and have been providing these services through rover for the past 2.5 years. I’m a healthcare worker, and have done home health in the past so I’m comfortable going into others homes. I’m reliable, responsible and trustworthy. I can guarantee your home and pets will be in great care. I do work full time Monday-Thursday. I’m off Friday-Sunday and have full availability for dog walking and pet sitting during the weekend. During the week I can go back to the home and spend time with your animals during my hour lunch. I’m available for overnight petsitting in your home 7 days a week. I live in an apartment, so I can bring small animals in for pet daycare. I have a small yard, but plenty of area for long walks outside my home. I also offer house sitting/pet sitting in the clients home.

“We have asked Melissa to look after our cats several times already and have never been disappointed. She is reliable and attentive, and we know that our cats are in good care with her.”

“Jon was amazing with our dogs! We have one dog who has a lot of anxiety and is very timid and Jon was wonderful at noticing his needs and taking care of him. We will definitely book with Jon again!”

About: I have cared for many animals over the years, and always treat them as if they were my own. I strive to make your animals feel comfortable and loved while you’re away! I am currently a full-time student, so I am unavailable some days of the week. However, I am available to sit most days of the week! I do not offer services out of my home due to having other animals, but I’m more than happy to care for your dogs just as you would if you were home!

“Chase is a stellar pet sitter and treats my Wally like his own kitty. Wally has never opened up to anyone as quickly as he did with Chase, and I truly feel like Chase has a gift with animals. Chase is very respectful of my home, always cleans up after himself, and sends me photos and videos of his time with Wally throughout his stay. I cannot recommend him enough and rate him a 10 if I could! Your pet will be in great hands with Chase. :)”

About: I’ve spent years caring for pets of all ages and personalities—from gentle senior cats to rowdy, playful pups. My background in a pet store taught me animal behavior, nutrition, and how to make every pet feel safe and happy. I’m skilled at giving medications, handling high-energy pets, and offering extra TLC to seniors. With me, your furry friend will get expert care, plenty of love, and endless tail wags! Pet care is part of my everyday life—I share my home with three of my own furry companions, so love, playtime, and feeding schedules are already built into my routine. I’m used to early morning walks, regular grooming, cuddle breaks, and keeping a close eye on health and behavior. Caring for pets isn’t something I “fit in”—it’s simply part of who I am.🐾💕 I make safety my first priority, keeping pets happy and secure. I care for each pet as if they are my own. All animals deserve kindness, respect, and purrr-sonalized care.😌

“Amanda did a great job taking care of our 2 kitties for several days, visiting twice a day, and was very attentive during the meet & greet. We will be asking her to cat-sit for us again!”

About: My first job when I was a kid was to walk my neighbor's dogs. Since then, I've worked and volunteered with several different animal organizations, completed different training courses, handled dozens of different dogs of all shapes and sizes. Every animal is different, and I respect each and every one! As an artist, I find caring for pets the perfect balance to studio time—nothing inspires a break like a cold nose nudging your elbow or a purring cat settling onto your sketchbook. Pets are treated like family. I believe structure and exercise are important and look for a relaxed demeanor to know that the animals needs have been met.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 and my dad is a professional dog trainer so I’ve had a bunch of experience with dogs and puppies. I’ve had from small dogs to quite large and often I would pet sit for my parents when they’d need to go on trips. I want to be a dog trainer and care taker as a professional career once I earn enough money to go to school for it. I’m very flexible with days and time. About to help my dad with the new litter of German shepherds he’s breeding this fall. So anything from care to training I can take care of and I’m okay with changing plans as long as it’s a couple days before. Thank you for you time!

“Renata has always been a fantastic dog parent! She is responsible and truly loves dogs. She goes the extra mile for them and they all love her. She has had a dog since she was 5 years old and has solely taken care of all of them! She is an avid walker using apple health and step bet to get her steps in. All the dogs love walking with her. She is so compassionate and kind and has a heart for all living animals!”

Brookside cat parents share their Rover experiences
All I can say is her love for animals is very evident with how she takes care of my cat! She goes above and beyond. This time I didnt leave and extra water and food bowl because I didnt think she would need it, but Zoe took the initiative and put and extra one down! (It was needed). She also came to the rescue when I had another issue. My cat is not the most agreeable at times, but she really loves Zoe. She is always on time and sends prompt updates. She is the best!
