About: I have personally owned dogs as long as I can remember. From Rottweilers to Chihuahuas. I have dog sat numerous times, between boarding at my house and house sitting at a client’s home. I’m a true dog-lover at heart. I love dogs in all shapes and sizes. They are the most loving and most loyal. They really are better than most people! Lol. I have a sweet, energetic, laid-back, one and a half year old mini poodle. I also have a 3 year old hedgehog, but since he’s nocturnal and likes to keep to himself, pets don’t interact with him. He’s caged in my room and will be out of the way. I also have experience in taking care of senior dogs including: administering meds, feeding picky eaters, helping with potty breaks, helping with walks, etc. I have personally trained all of the dogs that I have owned. I have lots of puppy experience and don’t believe in “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.” as I have also trained older dogs that I have rescued. I currently work from home and I am usually off by late afternoon/early evening. I can be home with your baby. We can play and take as many potty breaks as needed. I also don’t work on the weekends and like to fill my weekends up with fun activities! I have a fenced in backyard and a safe neighborhood to go on walks. Your doggo would have complete freedom of the house (as long as I’m home, of course). Doggies are allowed on the furniture and allowed to sleep with me. If they are crate trained, of course that’s okay too.

“Maila was an exceptional caregiver to our shy cat! He has always been standoffish when strangers come to our home. Malia was patient and exuded a calm demeanor and she won him over in a very short time. Our cat also requires insulin injections twice daily and she was an expert at that. She brought our mail in and cleaned the litter box daily. Maila sent us pictures and an update with each visit. We could not have been happier with Maila! Her professionalism and caring demeanor put our cat and us at ease. We plan on booking with her again! You will be so lucky if she cares for your pets!!”

It was also nice having a record of what was done each day with pictures, along with a report of how everyone was. How fun seeing your pets through someone else's eyes. Makayla's descriptions cracked me up, the antics of all of them in their own way. She described my rooster as being sassy to her one day, I really did lol because that's a perfect description of him. Overall I am so incredibly pleased with my experience with Makayla. She is very likeable right from the start and easy to communicate with. Setting up an initial meeting was simple. She understood my instructions, had no problem asking for clarification if she didn't understand or forgot a detail. Everything was in order when I returned home. About: I provide compassionate care to pets, especially ones that may be shy and introverted. I’d like to include them in my daily activities and I am very involved with the outdoors. I have a friendly cat at my home that likes to spend a lot of time outdoors gardening with me. We are currently working Monday thru Friday, during the daytime and are available for dog walking, generally from 5:30 pm to 8 pm. We are available for all other services from Friday pm to Sunday pm. We have jobs that provide us time off during holiday periods a s well as all summer long. If the pet is in my clients home, then the care provided will be based upon what the owner has already established. The care in My Home will be just an extension of that but adjusted for a different physical location.

About: I have owned dogs cats and horses for over 20 years! I volunteered at a therapeutic animal ranch for 4 years and enjoy being around all animals. I love jogging and walking, and anything outdoors. I am able to administer medication and care for senior animals as well. My labrynese is calm, older and wiser. Neither are aggressive or territorial. They have a solid routine but also adapt to schedule changes very well if need be. I have kennels in the backyard and plenty of space for them to run and plenty of water for them to hydrate!

I have taken care of every age of dog from puppy to end of life care. Every dog is an extension of the family. This brings the stress of having to trust another person to take care of your fur baby. I have used sitting apps before, so I know the anxiety of leaving your pups at home. I hope that I will be able to relieve that anxiety and take good care of your fur family. I currently travel with my wife who is a traveling nurse. I am currently working from home. My days are usually free except Sunday mornings. I am currently in an apartment and not available to house any more dogs. This makes me unavailable to overnight sit. The only way I am able to watch or walk is at the owners location.
