“Rian has been taking care of my puppy since I brought him home! She takes amazing care of him and teaches him new tricks and is always communicating with me about him when he’s in her care.”

“Kalista is so wonderful with my fur girls. I am so grateful for her because she takes great care of them, they enjoy her and it helps me not feel so bad for leaving them alone. I am so happy to be home but thankful for her wholeheartedly. We are returning customers and will continue to use her services for as long as we can. Highly recommend.”

About: I have been off and on pet sitting for a long time. I primarily watch dogs but I have also watched ducks, goats, hamsters, cats and more! I love being outdoors and I will make sure the doggos get all the exercise they need. I have my own dog who comes with me. She does best with younger dogs with a preliminary meeting in a neutral location but I also take my gate and crate with me so dogs can have a break from one another. I am currently a graduate student. I have one class each day this semester so I will be able to spend a lot of time looking after pets even during the week. I follow owner instructions of care and exercise. If your dog likes to run, we go running. If your dog is a couch potato, we go on short sniffaries. My dog hates taking medication so I am expert at making sure dogs get their pills even under resistance. Have been attacked by a duck daily for four weeks straight and still kept them all happy!

About: Growing up, we always had multiple pets in our home. I think that really shaped me to become the animal lover I am today. I have experience training dogs, mostly obedience, but some tricks as well. I think friends and family would say that I am reliable and caring pet sitter! I work, but I love taking time out of my day to care for pets! It breaks up the day so nicely in my opinion. At my home, there is a fenced yard and my goldendoodle loves playing with friends. At other people's homes, I am very attentive to make sure nothing happens to your furry friend.

“Zoe took amazing care of our two cats while we were out of town camping. The photos were adorable and they gave detailed reports of her visits. I can tell they have a great care for animals and they put a lot of effort into letting my cats adjust to a strange human - they even got my super shy baby to come out and hang out the whole time on the last day! Would definitely book again and recommend!”

“Laura was amazing! You could really tell she has a passion and love for animals and I felt confident my kitten was in great hands with her and I was right. I'll definitely be using her services again in the future!”

“Emma did drop in visits with my very timid rabbit and was awesome with her. She was very reliable, thoughtful and patient, ensuring my rabbit was healthy and well cared for, reporting on each visit and sending photos. I will definitely request Emma again and highly recommend her.”

About: Hello - I am Annie and I am 25 years old from Rhode Island. I have dogsat for families throughout college in colorado area. I have a 5year old Old English Sheepdog who is about 75lbs back home and a 60 lb goldendoodle puppy now. He needs about 1-2 hours of exercise a day so I understand long walks / playing in parks, etc. I am usually gone 6a - 5p at work so I try to avoid caring for dogs during the week with my dog at home. I would prefer to do more dog walking services or daycare on weekends so our pups can play, have a fenced in backyard so they can run around together.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was 4. I moved up to Alaska and have missed them so much and my place doesn't allow animals sadly. I’d love to come over and take care of your pets and take them for walks. I can’t wait to meet your furry loved ones and get connected with the Fairbanks community! I work a 48 hours on 96 hours off schedule as a firefighter. On my days off I have full flexibility and availability as well as my own reliable car to get around. I’m extremely active so high energy animals aren’t a problem. Although I can’t host animals at my place I promise to be respectful of your home. I know our area well so I’m open to walking animals around anywhere! As long as I get detailed instruction for your home and pets I’ll abide by any special rules or instructions.

“Theresa did such a great job with Mowgli, she took him out for some exercise so he could get his energy out and sent me lots of pics! She took care that his feet and toys weren't left muddy after they played outside. Would definitely recommend her, and would love to have her watch Mowgli again in the future!!”

With over 7 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and pets with special needs, I’m not just “sitting” your pet—I’m bonding with them, playing, walking, and making sure they feel loved and secure while you’re away. I also understand how important it is to respect your space. As a clean, responsible person, I always make sure to pick up after myself and leave your home in the same (or better!) condition than when I arrived. I structure my routine to ensure your pet gets plenty of attention and care. I'm someone who takes pride in cleanliness, so you can trust that your home will be treated with respect. I make sure everything stays neat and organized. Your pet’s care is my priority, but I also want you to feel confident that your home is in great hands! When I care for your pet in your home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow all your instructions for feeding, medications, and daily routines, and I always keep you updated on how your pet is doing. I’m also very mindful of your home. I make sure your space is respected and left as it was. Whether I’m spending the day with your pet or looking after them for an extended period, I’ll ensure your pet has a great time, and your home is well cared for.

Mary P.
“Mary has watched my cat and my five ducks on two occasions now, and both times I came home to happy and healthy animals! I appreciated her openness to work with me to care for my unconventional pets & do some light farm work, she was very communicative (sending me photos and videos of my ducks the first time I was away from them to help me feel less anxious) and checked in with me about duck care when temps got low one week this winter. The animals were all thriving upon my return and that's the only recommendation I need. I'm really glad I connected with her and will hopefully continue to work with her for future pet care. Thanks Mary!”

Broadmoor pet parents share their Rover experiences
Team Mariah was the most amazing and wonderful experience my two little girls have had. They warmed right up to Mariah and they bonded immediately. My Puppy girls were extremely happy when they came home. I would highly recommend if you really care for your animals to only go with team Mariah.

Mariah and her daughter were great! They came over a few times to meet my reactive Aussie mix. They were calm and upbeat in the face of my barking ball of anxiety, and worked to slowly win her over. They were also flexible with timing, which I really appreciated.
