About: Ive had pets my whole life, from large to small. Ive taken care of puppies 6+ weeks old and elderly dogs as well. High energy or couch potatoes I’ve had them all! Currently a stay at home with two dogs, one frenchie and one husky mix. I can feed on a strict schedule, take walks, play, anything required has my 100% attention. About: I have lived with dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and rodents my entire life, and currently have two dogs, two cats, and a leopard gecko. I love hanging out with animals and look forward to meeting your pups and kitties! I have helped take care of various pets for friends and others, including but not limited to, a pair of elderly dachshunds that had various medical needs, a lovely cat who loves to hand out, and I took home the class ferret nearly every weekend during my senior year. One of the cats, Herman, is extremely shy and generally hides when strangers come to the house. So, I scheduled two hour-long visits with the hope (but no expectation) that Herman might warm up to Yuki and make an appearance. To my surprise, he did! When I returned both cats were happy and healthy. In addition, they didn’t seem phased by my absence (which is unusual). About: We have both had pets our entire lives, until recently. Have experience in medication and senior care needs. We have had both cats and dogs in the home. Most of our animals were rescue critters, with various backgrounds. We have not only taken care of our own pets but watched friends critters when they traveled. Currently one of us is retired and will be able to be with your pet all day, except on occasion when we go out or errands. Both of us are home in the evenings and weekends and are also willing to take your pet with for rides or errands, if allowed. We enjoy daily walks. We do not have a fenced yard but a nice area for walking behind the house. Your pet will always be supervised. I have worked at a doggie daycare and boarding facility for several years where I was constantly working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments (I love them all)! I also have experience pet sitting dogs in my home for many years. I have been working as a vet tech for the past 8 years. I have a flexible work schedule with a 3 hour lunch break and only about 5 minutes away from home. Your dog is never left alone for more than 4 hours at a time. We live just outside of town in a secluded and private area of Goldstream. We have a large fenced in yard for your dog to play in. We also have direct access to the Goldstream trails right from our property (which I hike very frequently with the dogs) We have a small team of sled dogs that are also part of our family. They are fenced off in a separate yard, but all are very friendly. If you have a dog that loves to play, we basically have our own dog park right here with lots of friendly dogs! I have several dogs that absolutely love to play with other dogs and would love to meet your dog. Please contact me if interested! I would love to watch your dog while you are away! I am very active with my own dogs and your dog is welcome to join right in! We play tons of fetch, go swimming and hiking, as well as dog sledding and skijoring in the winter. About: I have taken care of my family and friends fur babies for two years both in my home and at their home. They entrusted me to feed and walk them while they were away. Additionally, there are discounts provided for two or more pets to be cared for and loved during your time away. Dog bathing is provided for an additional fee, if interested, in the comfort of your home so your pets are refreshed before you arrive home to them. My time at home has allowed me to love and care for my own animals, but to also provide a loving and nurturing environment for yours as well while in my care. Safety is number one in our home! Additionally, I have a fenced in yard and two dogs of my own to easily make your fur baby feel welcomed, loved, and cared during their time with us. Please understand that I do not stay in the home of others due to that I have animals of my own that need their mama home to take care of them and assist with their needs, but I am still available for house visits upon requests.
