Outdoor time is always supervised, and I can use a lead or crate dogs when appropriate for their safety and comfort. For overnight stays in a client's home, I would need to bring my own dog with me. She is well-trained, respectful, and gets along well with other dogs. I understand that this isn't the right fit for every pet, so I'm always happy to discuss or set up a meet to see whether it would be a good match beforehand. To make sure your pet has the best experience possible, I ask that owners let me know about any treat or food allergies, dietary restrictions, favorite toys, or anything they should avoid. About: I’ve taken care of various dog and cat breeds to help out friends and family for years. I’ve had to follow specific instructions based on behavior and/or medical needs of the animal. I’ve been relied on for potty breaks, meal times, and a little activity. I work full time, however, I’m available for afternoon walks/care during the week. On weekends, I have flexibility with my schedule to include play dates, feedings, etc. I have a small indoor space to enjoy, as well as, a BIG unfenced yard. I prefer to use a leash when outdoors at all times unless I brought them to a fenced in area or are known to stay close to home.

I have knowledge and experience through my animal shelter work on what silent pain signals or distress can look like in dogs and cats. I've administered medications before but would prefer to let the animal get to know me before providing injections. My preference is to have a meet and greet with your pet(s) ahead of the scheduled outing so they may acclimate to me and to have a brief in-person discussion to go over the scope of the service you wish to see.
