About: Hello! I'm Abbey, lover of all kinds of dogs and cats. I have lots of experience caring for large dogs and was a lucky owner of a wonderful fluffy Australian Shepherd. I learned tons of great dog training techniques to help with reactive behavior and controlling strong pups with high energy. I have also cared for cats from kittens to seniors and have lots of experience administering medication orally, by injection and giving lactated ringer fluids. Your pet(s) will get lots of love and attention as if they are my own! If they are shy, of course I will give them space and keep you updated on how they are doing. For house sits: Please specify if you prefer for me to stay overnight in your home. Typically pet parents with dogs prefer overnights but happy do stay with dogs and cats, so I've determined my rates with this in mind. Depending on distance from my home in Beacon, I will need to head out for a few hours per day during house sits, so we will communicate about that and what you're comfortable with. I work fully remotely and have reliable personal transportation to care for pets all over the Hudson valley, NYC and nearby areas. About: I personally have a cat that was initially my daughter’s but I inherited her and have grown to love immensely. I have cared for my daughter’s chameleon and tortoise in her absence on several occasions. I’m a big dog lover!!! They bring me lots of joy. I have had shepherds, Belgian Malinois, mixed breeds, and labs in my life. Currently I continue to have two full grown labs, and a yellow puppy lab in my life through my great friend. I could not imagine life without them. They are the definition of unconditional love. I’m currently working full time, but if needed I can be available in the evening for dog walking. About: I become a cat lover at age 17 when I got my first kitten, Gemini. When she was 8 years old she was diagnosed with kidney failure and I had to provide to her hospice care in our home. During that time I gave Gemini sub-q fluids subcutaneously several and medications. After her passing I knew I couldn’t be without a cat in the home so I got two more! They are now 6.5 and very healthy and happy. About 2 years ago I got my special needs French bulldog who requires medications, special food and monthly vet visits. My animals have all taught me patience and compassion and increased my love for caring for those who cannot help themselves. Your fur babies will be in trustworthy hands when you are away. I own my own business and make my own hours and work “part time” hours so I am ready to help you with your pets needs! My cats and dog are well fed and loved having a morning meal time and an evening meal time. If your cats are on a schedule like mine I understand you’ll need me there twice a day. As a cat parent I also know how quickly the litter box fills up; I will gladly scoop once a day for so you don’t come home to a mess/smell! We do not have a fenced yard and my home so my dog comes out on a leash with me for her potty breaks, always supervised. We love taking a ride and going to small parks with a walking path or neighbors with sidewalks for safe carefree walkies.

About: Hi- I have been a dog sitter from a young age for a family with 5 golden retrievers. Unfortunately, they have since passed on as time passes by. As an adult now in a new area I decided to check out this type of opportunity online. I am a complete animal lover and would treat your pet as my own. About: I’ve been taking care of different kinds of animals over the last few years. I’ve always loved meeting and getting to know other animals in my neighborhood!! I’m always free in the afternoons! I work mornings at a doggy daycare and I’m usually available by 1:30. Please let me know at least 24 hours in advance for any services. I typically use a flat leash leash, but I always make sure that the animal have as much space as they need to do what they need to do. I always try to provide some type of treat or enrichment on walks.

About: I have had multiple dogs at a time since I was born and I have grown up learning to take care of dogs from the size of a Chihuahua to a Newfoundland! About: I have been around dogs and cats my whole life. Throughout high school I have gained experience with house sitting and overnight dog sitting. Comfortable with giving dogs medication as one of my families dogs required insulin twice a day. I have experience in caring for bunnies, hamsters, fish, rabbits and more. I am a student located about an hour north of NYC. I only have class 3 days a week so I am quite flexible! I am able to provide overnight sitting or drop or basis. I am confident in caring for dogs who have different needs, I am used to giving dogs medication.
