“James was awesome! We have 2 young standard poodles who are with us 100% of the time. Haha big mistake! James was our first attempt at a sitter and the boys fell in love with him immediately. His focus was completely on the boys and their needs. How are they at walking? Do they argue when they wrestling? When were they last out? Can I take them out? Snacks? Water? Anything special they need or want? He took them out for a BIG walk before bedtime and they were pooped out when we got home. As the owner of a high energy dog I spend a lot of time doing outdoor activities. I have a flexible schedule and am available most days. About: I have always been a lover of animals & have been helping families & house sitting homes for over 20 years. I do have a nursing degree aswell. I have cared for all types of domestic pets as well as farm animals, horses and 3 Neopolitan Mastiffs of my own. Neos are a large breed dog and each of mine weighed 200lbs, I had them since they were pups and for the entirety of their lives. About: The greater joys and attachments in life have come to me by the way of my dogs. I have always had a strong connection with my pets and have been accused on many occasions of treating my furry friends as well as, or better than humans. I'm extremely picky about the cleanliness and comfort of my house yet cannot imagine it being a home without the wonderful energy that only a pet can give it. Having taken in and assisted in the care of pets over many years, my file at a local veterinarian's office is ridiculously thick. It is that same veterinarian who shared with me that when he passes it would be his wish to come back as one of my pets. Be assured, I will love and care for your pet! My home is a warm and peaceful place- free from drama, full of good energy. I believe animals can keenly sense when they’re in a safe place from the moment they step into your space. They’re also acutely aware when it’s not. For the select pets who prefer staying in their own home while their humans are away, I enter in to your home with love, and respect of your space. I exercise discretion, as staying in your home requires a level of privacy that will be protected. I always vow to leave a property as clean and cared for as when I first entered it. Having spent a significant time in overseas travel, I found it unbearable from the moment I departed from home until I landed back home- my two dogs were always on my mind and in my heart. They were like my children. When I take care of your fur baby, they will be my one and only concern. I have a wonderful yard that is fully fenced- it’s a slice of heaven for any pup! I don’t keep them outside, especially when it’s too warm or too cold. I’ve never understood dog owners kenneling their dogs outside, having little interaction.

About: I’ve cared for animals throughout my life, volunteering at animal shelters and caring for friends' and relatives' pets. This has given me extensive experience caring for all kinds of animals in various life stages. I have two dogs—Wyatt, an American bully, and Lucy, a Chihuahua. I also have two cats! My experience also includes reptiles, rabbits, and birds. I adore animals and would love to help with any of your pet's needs. :) My schedule is flexible! As a full-time college student taking online classes, I can easily adjust my plans when needed while still caring for my pets. I believe our pets sense the energy around them, so establishing a calm and safe environment, and meeting them at their level, is essential. For our dogs, we have a spacious fenced yard, and I usually let them outside every two hours. We also take daily walks around the neighborhood. When it comes to feeding, I avoid playing to keep mealtime serious. For my own pets, I prepare home-cooked meals twice a day to ensure a balanced diet. I believe they deserve a fulfilling life, which includes nutritious food!
