My roads were covered with ice and snow but that didn’t stop James from arriving on time, snowshoeing to the cabin from the road, just to refill my cat food dispensers and water. He’s capable of getting to your place regardless of the conditions, and that’s what you want this time of year - someone capable and reliable. Oh, and he is a good communicator too. I have no complaints.

Susan and our cats had a great time while we were away! They felt right at home with her. She left us thoughtful notes and pictures that gave us a great feel for what was going on while we were gone. We would recommend Susan to any cat owner. Thank you!

Grace was extremely reliable and so sweet with our pup. We are so thankful for her help while we skied. Our pup was happy as could be and well taken care of. It is because of Grace’s responsiveness and kind nature that we felt comfortable bringing our pup on our ski trip. Highly recommend Grace! Hope to book her again during our next trip this summer.

We hired Angie to drop in on our kitty, Luna. Angie arrived at the time we’d previously discussed and spent time playing with Luna and took care of her litter box. This was the first time we’ve left Luna behind and it was made easier by knowing Angie would be dropping in to visit.

About: Before I went to college my Dad got and trained a dog to do search and rescue. I adored that dog! I will adore your dog too! I have a big heart and lots of patience for dogs. Looking forward to the day when I can adopt two of my own. So excited to get to know and spend time with your doggo. During the week I’m busy with school and on the weekend I stay in Park City with my parents. Looking for any dog walking opportunities. Keep a close eye on the animals, feed them at their scheduled time, keep their water filled, take them on daily walks and play with them.

About: I currently only have one dog and she is a Newfoundland she is 10 which is really old of that kind of dog so I understand with older dogs they need a little extra care and I am ok with that. I can't help but want to play with a dog when I see it. I have had three dogs in the past and they give me so much joy. I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10 I will give your dog unconditional love like I give mine. I worked all summer at Park City Pet Resort and took care of multiple dogs at a time and still had time for each one individually. I am younger so I feel I will have more time and energy to be with your dog(s).

About: Hello, pet owners! I'm thrilled to introduce myself as a trustworthy and friendly pet sitter who is deeply passionate about providing exceptional care for animals. Your fur baby/babies will be treated with the same love and attention as if they were my own! I work partly in office and the other half remotely. I am able to go on lunch break and check in with pups if it’s in a reasonable distance. So flexibility to do check ins. I always have weekends off! My background as a medical professional instills in me a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to delivering compassionate care. Just as I care for my patients with respect and empathy, I extend the same level of attention to the well-being of your pet. From administering medication to maintaining a safe and comfortable environment, I prioritize your pet's health and happiness. During your absence, I will provide regular updates and photos to keep you informed and reassured. Your pet's comfort, security, and happiness are my top priorities, and I strive to create a nurturing environment where they can thrive. :)

About: My family is a dog family. Thus, I’ve worked with all types of dogs: big/small, calm/energetic, and well trained versus need to be trained. I’ve worked with labs, retrievers, Havanese’s and many more! I’m currently training part-time as a skiier. I am available all nights. Anytime Monday and Saturday. In the afternoons Tuesday. In the mornings and middays Wednesday. Midday Thursday. Afternoon fridays. I plan to work with the dog. Listen to what it wants and listen to its body language and signs. I also plan to make sure it knows I’m comfortable so that the dog can be comfortable too!

About: I have been around all types of animals my whole life. I am happy to provide whatever care is needed to keep our best friends happy and safe! I have a very flexible schedule as I am a self employed individual and a part time server. It allows me to be able to visit and care for pets in all hours of the day. I do have a fenced in yard at my home but prefer to care for pets in their comfort of their home to keep them happy and safe.

About: Currently offering dog walking and boarding services but open to other short-term services as well. I love going on hikes, visiting parks, lakes, and playing outside, especially with pets. Currently living in Park City, which offers endless trails and many parks. I have a full time job which allows employees to bring their pets to work so your buddy can be my side during the day. I was a former dog owner for 16 years, so I am aware and experienced in all life stages. I have also babysat dogs for friends and family, which was up to 4 dogs at once. Some of them had special meal needs that I was able to follow. I would love to host your pet and make it the best experience possible. I'm currently working full time in SLC but my company allows employees to bring dogs to work. During the weekends I am mostly home with the exception of running errands or enjoying the outdoors. I live in a condo at the base of Park City Mountain Resort. I have an elevator which makes access very easy so stairs will not be encountered. Your pet will enjoy their own bed and toys. If you are comfortable, I am able to bring a dog to work during the day in Salt Lake City.

Corey was such a reliable sitter. I tend to have a lot of anxiety about leaving Bo because she can be a lot for some people, has trouble warming up to people sometimes, and is dog reactive. Bo liked Corey right away and he always gave updates and let me know what was going on with Bo. Then, when my fiancé returned he immediately went on a bad call and couldn’t get home to Bo right away. Corey was able to do a quick visit and hold Bo over until my fiancé could get home. I was able to actually relax while we were gone and would definitely have him sit again.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for five years. I have worked as a preschool teacher as well as at a plant nursery. I am currently a sophomore at the university of Vermont. I am home for the summer and have time to take care of your pets! I am a very active person, I love to go on long walks and runs. I run a small business so I work at the Sunday silly market on Sundays. I will be around daily to feed, walk, and take care of pets. I have three cats of my own so I can not have any animals in my house. I will treat your home with the utmost respect.

Keri is great with our pups. We have a high energy pitbull that requires running, a chihuahua that is picky, and an old pit that doesn’t let go of tennis balls. She handles them all perfectly.

Zach is amazing! I had a sitter cancel the day before I was to leave for a trip and Zach dropped everything to help me out. He is incredibly kind and compassionate and he kept me up to date on how my pup was doing. This was my first time leaving Troy with someone and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to watch him. I will be asking Zach to pet sit every time I go out of town!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Pet Sitting in Park City on Rover is $27.75 per visit (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Pet Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Pet Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 4,055 sitters on Rover offering Pet Sitting across Park City. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Park City stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Park City. On Rover:

  • 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
