About: As a child, growing up I was always bringing home stray animals to care for. I've been rescuing & caring for animals for over 20 years now. I have rescued & cared for a variety of different animals. I have expertise in caring for senior animals, those with illnesses, have imapirments,are handicapped, have disabilities or those that may have special needs. I'm everyone's go to for pet questions/concerns, pet sitting & pet rescue. I am an animal advocate & longtime member of PETA, ASPCA, Alley Cats Allies, National Wildlife Federation & Humane Society of the United States. I support local recues such as Forgotten Tails Rescue, Kitty Kat Haven & Two by Two Animal Rescue. I am currently & have been a stay at home mother to two boys, ages 6 & 7 for the past 7 years. My availability it pretty well open during the weekdays to be able to assist for you & your pet's needs. I have an open back yard (1 acre) for your doggo to run & play. Indoors we have a large sectional that everyone likes to pile up on & snuggle. I also have puppy pads to use indoor & can also crate your pupper if you prefer, but I usually prefer not to confine the fur babies.

They treated Max like one of their own and sent us thoughtful updates throughout the day (which totally made my day!). Max was all smiles when we picked him up and seemed pretty proud of himself for making new buddies—Barley and Greta, their two sweet terriers. About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had dogs, and I quickly became the go-to dog walker in the neighborhood. In college, I volunteered with the local humane society, where I spent time walking dogs and taking them on fun “puppy dates” every day. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments—and animals tend to feel naturally safe and comfortable around me. More recently, I’ve also become a big cat person! I didn’t grow up with cats, but I adopted one two years ago and have absolutely fallen in love. Whether it’s a playful pup or a snuggly cat, I’m here to provide loving, attentive care while you’re away. I’m fully available all day, every day for walks, check-ins, or extended pet care. I’m going online school until August 26th and have a very flexible schedule! My home is very pet-friendly and a great environment for animals! I have one dog—an English Lab—who is sweet, well-behaved, and uses an electric fence. I also have a cat who gets along great with dogs. We live in a dog-loving neighborhood where people are always out walking their pets, and my dog has regular playdates with the neighborhood pups. It’s a fun, safe, and social environment for any visiting pets!

“Kelsey is a long-time favorite of my big dog, but my little dog has only had one other sitter (and daycare at the vet, where she hid terrified under a bench the whole time). My little dog is poorly socialized and greets new situations with a growl, but I knew Kelsey would do careful, slow introductions and make sure she was comfortable. And boy was she! Both my girls had an absolute blast and the pictures prove it. They barely even cared when I came to pick them up! About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, my mom and grandmother started the humane society in my hometown so we have always taken care of animals. I will take care of your dog like it was my own. I love all animals but especially dogs! I currently work from home so I am available to watch your dog during the day or overnight boarding. I can do drop ins or walks after 4pm. My wife is a RN so she is home 4 days a week to help watch and play with your dog also! Someone will always be available to supervise your pet and can update you with pictures through their stay! I have a fenced in yard and a dog door so they have access to come in and out as they please. I also have a big energetic German shepherd lab mix that will play with your dog all day! We have daily frisbee tosses and fetch in the backyard.

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is my deep understanding and love for animals. I believe that pets are not just animals but they are members of the family. Therefore, I treat them with the same care and respect as their owners would. I stay home most of the day so the pet is not left alone for any extended amount of time and if I am not home then they will be in the area I keep my dogs. Firstly, I ensure that pets have access to clean water and food at all times. Secondly, they should be given regular exercise and playtime as per their breed and age requirements. Thirdly, it is crucial to maintain good hygiene by keeping their living space clean and grooming them regularly.

“Doug did a great job taking care of our dog, Paisley! We were visiting family and needed a sitter in a pinch (during a holiday weekend no less) and Doug was super quick to respond and help us out. He provided nice updates with photos, and it was clear Paisley had a great time and was well taken care of. He even took the extra effort to replace her ball when she lost it the bushes while playing outside. Would definitely use Doug again.”
