About: I have cared for pets for over 20 years in a variety of settings. My own pets, as well as friends, family members, and neighbors. I have also been previously employed by a professional dog walking company, which I remained with for two years. Pets are like family, and I know how hard it is to leave them sometimes, especially with a new person. I have a two story home and they are free to roam around as they please, lay on the couch, sit out on the deck (weather permitting). If I am at your home, I follow your care instructions very carefully and I am respectful your space. I have an 8 year old standard goldendoodle who is very friendly. However, if your dog may not get along with another dog, I am able to take mine to his grandpa's house to watch him so I can prioritize yours.

About: I have never not had a dog as far back as I can remember. I love being around them. From puppies to senior dogs also. As of Dec. 27th I will be working full time, however I can still do walks, drop ins and overnight stays. I can still do morning walks and evening walks. Can walk dogs from a small walk to up to several miles if needed, on a hike and just play ball if needed. I currently do not have a yard to be able to have a dog at my home. Lauren house sat for 9 days and took excellent care of my rabbit, cat and dog. She became fast friends with my nervous, reactive dog and I think Lilly misses her now that the stay is over. She did whatever it took to get Lilly outside time in the aftermath of a snow storm including shoveling a walkway for her to potty and taking her to the beach (her favorite place) even though it was cold. Lauren was even willing to run one of the pets to the vet when he became sick but luckily that ended up being unnecessary. At times I was hard to reach - being out of the country but Lauren was patient with me and handled it all. Its not easy to leave your pets in someone else's care but I don't have to worry anymore as long as Lauren is willing to sit for me. I will book her for some additional dog walks soon so Lilly gets to spend time with her.
