“Rowan was exceptional! Was able to book her last minute to watch my 2 cats for 9 days and she was so easy going and gave me a piece of mind while I was away. Followed all instructions and kept in touch with me everyday. She tidied up and even took the trash out. I would highly recommend her for any pet service. I was hesitant at first to book a sitter as I have never done before but she was great and trustworthy and I will definitely book her next time. Hopefully she stays in the area and isn’t planning to move so I can book her again! ????”
“I greatly appreciated how communicative Ashlynn was about her arrival and departure. She was able to keep my dog on her routine, even though I wasn’t able to physically show her around and we used video chat. Flexible, kind and personable.”

“Jared took care of Fitz the cat in my home while I was away for a week. I thought my cat was going to be shell shocked and needy when I returned but instead he seemed pretty content. I would book Jared again in the future to take care of my pet without hesitation”

“Emma was amazing. She was able to help me with very little notice. She was attentive & very communicative. I felt super comfortable leaving my fur baby with her and I will definitely book with her in the future.”

“Tiffany has done a lot of drop in visits for us and overnight stays. She’s great at keeping in touch and sending photos. We always feel at ease when we have her taking care of our fur-babies.”
“Mike was awesome! He was very personable, communicated well and our kitties loved him. He followed all requests we had, administered medication to 2 cats daily and we felt so comfortable being away with them in his care. He is reliable, trustworthy and we will be using him again!”

“Melissa does such a great job with taking care of our kitties while we are out of town. She spends a lot of time playing with them and giving them pets. We really appreciate her.”

“Kayla did an excellent job watching our kitties. She is very caring and even my shy cat came out to greet her! This is our second time using Kayla and we will definitely use her again.”

“Katrina is going to be a gift to my household! We have four dogs who is variable levels of excitability. She skilled her interactions to the individual dog. Most importantly, she seems to really like my dogs *and* to be reliable.”

“Hailey was thoughtful and caring. She took the time to learn about my pets, their habits and needs before actually sitting. She sent pictures everyone she dropped in. Everything was in order when we return. I will definitely be using Hailey to care for our pets in the future!”
“Misr is very personable. She came for a visit ( which was with my partner)aince it was her first time dropping in to care for the two dogs. We first video chatted and I knew I selected someone with pet experience and a real love and connection towards animals. Both of us felt the sincerity and warmth immediately. The dogs, one of which is not social both liked her spirit. Misty followed instrucions and requests to a t, was prompt and thorough. So glad I chose Misty to allow us to be gone Christmas day and not worry the dogs were in excellent care. Thank you for facilitating a break away from home and lovingly checkimg on our 2 dogs.”

About: I have experience caring for pets of different ages, sizes and personalities. I have been a reliable pet sitter and dog walker for my family, friends and neighbors since I was about 10 years old. I’m reliable, attentive and treat every pet with the same care and love I would give my own. I recently graduated with my Doctorate in physical therapy and am currently studying for my boards, so I am available at anytime throughout the week! I care for pets in their home by keeping them on their normal routine with walks, feeding, playtime, and lots of attention. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while keeping owners updated.
“Abby did a great job caring for my dog Samson while I was on vacation for a week. She was able to accommodate some last minute requests for me as well. I would definitely book with her again!”

About: I've rescued and fostered many dogs & cats. I'm a volunteer for a wildlife rescue and care for all animals. I treat your furbaby like my own. I've never had an animal escape or get hurt on my watch. I am self employed and work from home so I give my pets all of my time. I do not crate my dogs however I have an extra large crate TV stand in case I needed to. My home is designed around animals to make life easy and functional. I own my home, its a ranch home. There is one step in front and 3 to go out the back door. If your dog doesn't do well with steps, we can go out the front. We have a half acre yard in a wooded residential area that is completely fenced in. We are outdoors all the time and when my pets go out, I'm out there with them. I would care for your dogs the same way when in my home. My cats and dogs, co exist together great and my dogs love other dogs! My dogs have lived with fosters and foster fails! Pets are allowed on the furniture but not on my bed. In the event they wanted to sleep with my dogs in my room that would just fine. We have plenty of room and dog crates if we needed to crate them also.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bridgetown. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
