About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life:all kinds, all personalities and all sizes. I have trained puppies and assisted senior dogs with respect and dignity as their needs have changed. About: I have been a dog lover my entire life and you will often find me loving on the dog at gatherings that include a pup. I tend to be the type of person that animals and children gravitate towards! I grew up with a dog that I certainly considered to be my baby, as I had him for 17 years, and definitely treat other dogs with as much love and respect as I treated him. I would love to care for your dog and give them the love they need while you are away. I now have a small dog of my own (my child!), so I do prefer that your dog(s) is vaccinated and good with other puppies/dogs. I want this to be the best and most fun experience for both pups and myself! Currently, I work remote so I am home most of the day during the workday (which is much preferred for my dog!). I am also available for quick visits to your home in the morning, a quick visit throughout the day if needed, and then after work. I could spend more time with your pup(s) as needed on weekends that I am available. Given that I work from home, I am there more often than not to provide the most attention for your furbaby! This would certainly involve loving on your pet, of course feeding and giving them water, playtime, short walks, etc. I treat all pets as if they were my own!
About: I’ve always enjoyed having dogs and cats as pets. I truly believe a dog is the truest friend a person can have. They deserve love and amazing care! I work part-time and am available to walk dogs or dog sit most all days and times. Saturdays and Sundays are not a problem at all. I do not have a fenced yard, though I do have a nice large back deck that we can enclose pets in to enjoy the outdoors while being safely locked in. We also live on a very quiet street with virtually no traffic and I love taking my own dog, Julie, for walks in the woods. She would love company! sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
