“This was our first time using Rover.com and Darla was perfect for our first time experience! I was having “mom guilt” and Miley had a little anxiety, but we all were pleased in the end. Darla sent pictures and videos throughout the day to assure us that Miley was behaving and not only comfortable but also enjoying her stay. This experience was just for the day but has gave us the comfort of knowing that she will be ok without us, and that it won’t hurt for us to try an overnight or two in the future! “I booked 11 nights to board my 1 year old Rottie (Remi) with Reyna and her crew. I was a little nervous because this was the first time boarding Remi and it was going to be for a long period of time and I would be out of the country. Everything was perfect! Multiple pictures and sometimes videos every day showing Remi going on walks, playing with other dogs, swimming in a small pool, meeting new farm animals and hanging out with Reyna and her family inside when it was hot out. It was pretty apparent that Remi was on her own vacation while I was on mine! I will definitely return in the future for any sitting needs.”

About: I live in north Muskegon and am home most of the day to spend time with your furry friends when you aren't able. I love them all like my own! I would love to provide your dog with the extra care they are craving, whether you need someone to pop in and check on them for a bit everyday, someone to take them on walks, or somewhere for them to stay overnight while you are away, I am more than happy to help! I have a very flexible schedule and several years experience taking care of dogs. No matter the weather I make sure to get our pup out for some exercise and can get yours out too. I cannot wait for the opportunity to get to know your dog. I am currently working part-time, three days a week so am able to fit in drop offs and pick ups and am around most of the time to hang with and take care of your pets. In 3 days time, was house trained, and enrolled in Puppy Pre-School at a local PETSMART. She’s smaller, but loves the big dogs best! My daughter on the other hand loves the smaller dogs. We will happily welcome them all! About: I had the best Olde english bulldogge for 7 years . He was very smart, socially calibrated and well mannered. I now have the sweetest pitbull who plays amazing with all dogs, and shares the same mannerisms (loving, playful, smart) I take care and sit my neighbors dogs as well. During the summer I take dogs to kirk park dog beach , which is heaven for them I can work from home so I’ll be able to oversee them. My yard is about 1000 sq ft. I currently work from home and am home the majority of the day, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, supervision, and care. I do step out occasionally for short transportation trips and my boys’ sports activities, but I plan my schedule to ensure pets are never left alone for long periods. About: If my husband would let me, I’d buy a zoo (come on powerball). I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve never met a pet that I didn’t want to spoil and cuddle. My daughter calls me a “stay at home pet mom”. Most days I’m home all day, with the exception of an occasional errand, appointment, drop ins for other dogs, or maybe a date night. We have 3 rescue kitties, who are like my tiny babies, very spoiled. Bam- who loves to help walk all the pups, and my girls- Pumpkin, and Elsa- who try to avoid visiting dogs at ALL cost. Basically I’m their “do-girl”. They all know how to talk me into extra treats. We also have Cash- a 1.5 year old, 30lb. Cocker Spaniel- who likes to think he’s a 125lb Husky. He hasn’t met a dog, big or small, he doesn’t like. We have a new pup, a female cocker spaniel, Carter. She’s 8 months now, she has appointed herself Official Play Time Supervisor of any and all dog guest- your pups will go home tired. Occasionally our daughter’s Boston Terrier, Franklin will visit, he hasn’t met a person, dog, or cat, he doesn’t like. He’s truly the best boy. I have had to administer meds in the past and don’t mind doing so. Animal caretaking is my full time job and my family is 1000% okay with that. I’ve never met an animal that I didn’t want to bring home with me. We just moved from Sparta to Ravenna, and we’re now on 3 acres. Your fur baby is invited and encouraged to make our house their home away from home. They will be well spoiled and loved, as my entire family will be doting on them.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was young. I love dogs unconditionally and love to play with them, I feed them when needed, I can give baths, and I love to take them on walks. My friends and family have relied on me to dog-sit whenever I was available to do so. I’m currently an MSW student and work part time at the moment. The love has spread to my 13 year old daughter. I currently have a very fun, young, and goofy dog -- a Vizsla named "Ranger." He clearly isn't a working dog and isn't a picture of obedience perfection. (I only mention this to let you know that despite my resume your dog doesn't have to be perfect and is coming into a very fun and loving household!) We've truly been a dog centered household for 20 years. My wife is a literal Saint! My private dog training rates, and I've turned down much more work than I've accepted, runs 10x the Rover.com rate we are charging. If you need a pet sitter who will run your hyper dog around the yard for hours to get them to go to sleep, I'm your girl:) I have experience mainly in shepherds and larger dogs since I have been watching them since I was about 14 and grew up with 3 shepherds and a lab. On the days I’m in the office, I’m only five minutes from home, so I’m able to come back easily to let my dogs out and check in on them. Their well-being is always a top priority, and I structure my day to make sure they’re comfortable and cared for—I’d do the same for yours! I care for pets in whatever way is most comfortable for them. I follow your instructions closely to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. If your pet loves their kennel, that’s perfectly fine—but if they prefer to cuddle up in bed, I’m more than happy to share the extra snuggles! Whether it’s playtime, walks, feeding routines, or just relaxing on the couch, I do my best to make every pet feel safe, loved, and right at home.
About: I’ve always had dogs and love caring for animals. I lost my beloved dog and I miss her wildly. “Taylor was amazing! Yesterday was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous about my pup being home alone... Taylor called me at work (per my request) so that I could go over how to get into my house, etc. and she calmed my nerves too :) when she got there, he had tore up his mattress pad in his kennel- she cleaned it up so that he couldn’t eat it. About: I have had a dog since I was 3 years old. I have dog sat for a variety of people back in Montana and in Michigan. I'm super excited to meet new people and dogs! I also get along with other animals as well. Growing up I had pigs, chickens, horses, and a dog. I have dog sat for other families since I was 13 and have been dog walking since I was 10 just for neighbor dogs. I have dog sat a three month old puppy for 3 months while his mom went out of the country. My schedule is pretty open and flexible. “I booked 11 nights to board my 1 year old Rottie (Remi) with Reyna and her crew. I was a little nervous because this was the first time boarding Remi and it was going to be for a long period of time and I would be out of the country. Everything was perfect! Multiple pictures and sometimes videos every day showing Remi going on walks, playing with other dogs, swimming in a small pool, meeting new farm animals and hanging out with Reyna and her family inside when it was hot out.
