About: I grew up with a loved dog and spent countless joyful hours caring for, playing with and training her. In addition to growing up with a dog, I had the pleasure of intermittently watching my neighbors’ dogs for the past four years and each experience has deepened my love for our furry friends. You can trust that your pets will receive abundant love and attention while you’re away. Having navigated my own dog’s seizures, I’m well-equipped to handle any situation and comfortable administering medication if needed. I can clean up after animals in any regard and am comfortable bathing them if necessary. Your pets will be in compassionate and capable hands. Pet care is something I look forward too every day. Each day, I will dedicate specific times for walks, play and feeding, ensuring that your pets’ needs are fully met. While I work a full-time job, I am ready to accommodate my schedule during the week. I’m available for dog walking or dog sitting or cat sitting after 5 PM on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays. On the weekends, I have even more flexibility, allowing for extended playtime and quality moments with your pets. I have no pets at home, creating a calm and comfortable environment for your pets. If it helps them feel more at ease, I can easily section off a room just for your dog or cat. I also have a long leash available, allowing for plenty of fun and exploration in a safe space. My goal is to provide a stress-free atmosphere for your pets. I’m more than happy to come to your home as well, ensuring they remain in a familiar setting that minimizes anxiety.

About: I've had a dog for 10 years, but I've especially learned the ropes of taking care of dogs through all ages when I got another puppy last summer. I've had lots of practice with potty training, teaching tricks, managing dogs behavior, providing fresh food and clean water, and giving lots of play time and attention. I'm a college student, so when I come home for break I'm always looking for opportunities to spend time with pups! Being home allows my schedule to be more open, so I'm really free whenever I come home. I do have a part-time job, but that keeps me a bit busier more so in the summer than any other time. I make sure that pups are fed clean food and have fresh water. I know how important it is for dogs to get play time, to get their energy out and keep them happy and active. I've dog walked for neighbors before, taking two dogs at a time out for walks and play time, refreshing the water in their bowls and ensuring there was food. I've also done check-ins, where the owners have been gone at a long day of work so I periodically check in to make sure the dogs are where they're supposed to be and that they're doing well.

“Jessica stopped by before our visit to meet our dog and become familiar with our routine, and sent us a nice update after her visit. Our dog immediately loved her and is excited for future meetups!”

“Rhea is amazing!!! Took the best care of my baby and he loves her so much! so glad I trust her with all our rover visits :)”

“Hallie did a great job watching our cat while we were out of town! We would gladly hire her again.”

“Samantha was very sweet and professional. My dogs loved her and I will definitely use her again.”

“Mermsie was great with my pup Otto! She was super communicative, which made me feel comfortable having her care for Otto. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking and I’ll be reaching out to her again in the future :)”

About: Hi there! My name is Brianna and I’ve always had a passion for dogs. I’m generally a go to for friends and family when they need someone to watch their pet! I currently work Monday - Thursday. My main option on here is dog walking but I am open to both drop in’s and house sitting during the weekends! I have three dogs Harley, Chloe, and Max. We have a fenced in yard where they can run around! They use wee wee pads which I’m comfortable with as well as go on walks!

About: Hi there, I'm Alix! I'm new to Rover but have extensive personal experience, most recently with my 9 year old pup and 2 guinea pigs. I was raised around dogs, and in the past I've also had hamsters and gerbils. I'm happy to caretake for anxious and fearful dogs, elderly pets, and exotics. I have experience administering oral daily medications to dogs, and hand feeding ill guinea pigs. I take cleanliness very seriously, having had many animals that are susceptible to illness. I will take care of your animals as if they were my own! I'm currently searching for a full-time job, but my area of work allows me to be remote and flexible with my schedule. With enough heads up, I can make most times work! I am renting a townhouse with plenty of space to set up a small animal enclosure for boarding. For dog boarding, I'd ask that we have a meet-up with our dogs to make sure they'd be compatible, as my dog is anxious and protective of her spaces. In your home, I'm more than happy to accommodate you and your pets' needs to make you both as comfortable as possible!

“Angela is great! We highly recommend her services!”

“Kelsey was great! Good communication and thoughtfulness from beginning to end. Really appreciate the care she took with our cat.”

About: Hello I'm Ja, originally from NYC! I loved raising & training my large hunting/ hound dogs. After they passed I would volunteer at animal shelters, teaching Pitbulls tricks so they would get adopted & walking/giving attention to older dogs with health needs that would get overlooked. I have a calming presence that surprises owners with non-friendly or anxious dogs. We need their love & attention as much as they need ours & that's what they get with me. I'm playful, fun and will shower your pet with affection. Besides fun, dogs need a firm & consistent leader, good behavior is rewarded with praise. Dogs should always recognize who is in charge & as dog-parents you can be confident their safety & best interests are cared for when I lead them. I have more of an open schedule to add new clients since recently moving back to east coast. I can accommodate letting dogs out earlier and am very active when it comes to giving pets time outside, outdoor walks and exercise aside from play time. I like to keep their schedule as normal as possible since having their human away from them is change enough. I am trained in pet first aid and have saved animals that were choking, helped them during seizures, found, removed and treated tick, flea and bee bites. Very attentive to pets with allergies, dietary restrictions, sicknesses, paraplegic, pets that need to wear diapers or cones, experience with stopping bleeding from open wounds. Familiar with certain health issues that are common among specific breeds.

“Candice was fantastic! I felt very comfortable with her as did my dogs. :)”

About: Animals have always been the biggest part of my life. I've never met an animal who I didn't immediately love, no matter what species or size. I have spent my life learning to understand and communicate with animals to best meet their individual needs. The majority of my experience is in caring for animals with special needs and disabilities. I have an extensive background in animal care, including; veterinary student and technician, former volunteer coordinator & foster with the SPCA, current volunteer large animal caretaker, and much more. I am Pet CPR certified and I always carry a first aid kit, along with allergy friendly treats, a spare leash, and lots of poop bags. My goal is to give you and your pet a positive, stress-free experience that they will look forward to almost as much as they look forward to having you home. I am flexible and will always do everything in my power to accommodate requests made on short notice, emergencies, extended sitting stays, and even some holidays. I also offer the following amenities which can be added onto any existing pet service; light house cleaning, laundry, basic dog grooming, and basic dog training (these services are separate from Rover and do not appear as options, please inquire directly). I am also more than happy to accommodate other pets, and have extensive experience with all species of birds, rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, tortoises, turtles, fish, pigs, cows, and horses. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your furry, feathery, or fluffy family members! 🐾 Animal caretaking is my life, 24/7/365! My schedule reflects my current availability around the other animals I am currently caring for, and my availability is first come, first served. I can make accommodations for emergencies or short notice when needed. Your pet will never be out of sight during visits or stays, and update photos will always be provided as frequently as you'd like during our scheduled time.

About: Hello I have been watching dogs for several years now. I truly love the companionship of dogs. I have watched many breeds of dogs including Labradors, Pit Bulls, Yorkies, you name it. I have many dog toys at home and a sizeable yard for the dog to go potty in. I also have a large home so your pet will have plenty of space to roam around. I will send pictures daily and let you know how your dog is doing. If your dog has any special needs or requires any sort of medical attention I will be there to provide the required assistance. I also have a small dog at home and she loves the company of other dogs. I hope to hear from you soon!

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and genuinely love caring for them. Neighbors, friends, and family regularly rely on me to walk their dogs — whether it’s daily routines or helping while they’re away. I’m reliable, attentive, and always make sure dogs get the exercise, attention, and safety they need on every walk. I work part-time with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time and energy to give pets the attention, love, and care they deserve. Since I focus on dog walking, I always follow the pet owner’s leash, route, and care instructions. I ensure each dog feels safe and gets plenty of movement and attention during our walk.

4. Jessica K.
“I have had the pleasure of knowing Jessica for over five years, and during that time, she has consistently demonstrated her love and care for animals, especially dogs. As the owner of a Pomeranian named Zara, I can personally attest to Jessica's exceptional ability to care for pets. She has watched Zara on numerous occasions, sometimes for as long as two weeks, and I have always been impressed by the level of attention and care she provides. Jessica treats Zara as if she were her own, making sure that she is not only fed and walked but also comfortable and happy. She is incredibly attentive to Zara's needs and never hesitates to go above and beyond to make sure she feels loved. Jessica's natural love for dogs and animals has been evident throughout our friendship, and I can't think of anyone better suited to work with animals. I have no doubt that Jessica would be a fantastic addition to Rover, and I highly recommend her for any role that involves caring for dogs. She would thrive in this environment, and any pet in her care would be in excellent hands.”

“Hutchinson P. is one of the most gentle and attentive caregivers I know. Hutch has a natural way with animals—patient, kind, and tuned in to their needs.
