The visiting dogs are not confined and are free to mingle and find their own place to relax. There are ample dog beds, couches, human beds and floor space for lounging and sleeping. I especially appreciate that Ryan limits the number of dogs he boards at one time to a very small group, & makes sure they vibe well together beforehand. The living space Ryan and his boarders occupy is all on one level, which is great for my dog with arthritis. There is a wooded trail for walks adjoining the yard, and a guest bedroom if a dog needs some quiet alone time. I would HIGHLY recommend Ryan and I plan to use him again!”

About: Ive lived with cats ever since I remember, around 2022 I begun caring for a disabled cat, Nippet, who's jaw was broken and permanently deformed. I had to make a special blend of food she could eat, bathe her multiple times a month and feed her medicine as needed. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. New clients get a free 2027 desk calendar that has photos of my clients and my dog as well (check my photos for a preview). I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.

About: I have taken care of dogs and various other pets my whole adult life. I believe trust is the most important thing when it comes to leaving your pets with a sitter and I can assure you I will treat your pets like I would my own, with love and respect. Your dog will be staying in a family style boarding situation, where they get the love and attention from myself, my husband and our 2 children (7 and 10) who adore helping out with all the pups. We have a large fenced in back yard for lots of supervised running, playing and sniffing! I am trained in obedience training and can provide puppy socialization. About: I have been an animal lover my whole life, but didn’t truly realize my appreciation for them until high school when I started pet sitting (over ten years ago!) I would watch my friends’ pets when they were on vacation, and felt compelled to make the pets’ stay with me a vacation as well 🐶😊. Since I started watching dogs I always considered them my PIC (partner in crime.). I take them with me on all my adventuress! They meet all my family and friends, and I have even taken a dog on a weekend trip to Block Island (with owners permission of course!) These days, I am home most of the day. I have a small business, which I run out of my home. I am home for majority of the day, but often have to step out for no more than 2 hours at a time. I typically give dogs 2 long walks (30-40 minutes) a day, and take them out in the yard and small walks down the street at least 5 times a day. They get potty breaks every 2-3 hours. I am a VERY active person. I am a marathon runner and avid hiker. No matter what your dog’s activity level is, I will be sure to tucker them out🐶😂. My typical morning and evening walk for dogs is a mile and a half around the reservoir trail in my back yard. I am more than happy to adjust to match your dog’s needs. I live on a small private street. My family and dear neighbors are all nearby. My large yard, close knit community, woods, reservoir trails and loving family truly is a paradise for dogs🐶😊❤️ My schedule varies every day. I can be in and out throughout the day, but never away from home for more than 2-3 hours at a a time. I am typically home for the day by 3pm. Some days I am home all day! It really depends on the week. I live alone and have no pets. I live in a private street with lots of land to explore. I never take dogs off leash when we are outside.

About: Ive had multiple pets as long as ive been alive both cats and dogs! In high school I volunteered with a small dog adoption center in New Hampshire called Mary's dogs, where I worked with older dogs and puppy's in need of homes. I also took and animal science class in my Junior year and was dog CPR certified. I know basic animal first aid as well. Overall I absolutely adore animals of any kind and am willing to work with any pets! This is currently my only job, so I am available almost any time to spend time with and take care of your fuzzy family members. However, I did care for my cat, Susan, and Siberian Husky, Luke, for 15+ years before they both crossed the rainbow bridge in 2019. I’ve had prior experience home/dog/cat sitting and my schedule is pretty flexible. My phone is on hand at all times and I’m more than willing to send you pics throughout our time together! Currently, I have a flexible schedule and am looking to care for cats and pups to fill my days with more furry friends. 🐱 🐶 When I had pets at home, I would care for them by taking them on walks and playing their favorite games. I installed an electric fence for my dog so he could run around and enjoy the outdoors when I couldn’t walk him.
About: ive grew up with every type of animal. from dogs to snakes to frogs! ive cared for dogs while people were out of state and haven’t had a complaint ! i take care of animals every day! feeding dogs, lizards, frogs, fish and cats! i can definitely care for any of your specific pets needs too ! ! i have a fenced in yard. and i can take them out as much as they need! and follow your feeding schedule and any other needs! He does watch multiple dogs at the same time but we were happy with the socialization for our pups. We had a meet and great ahead of time so I think Rich screens the dogs for temperament. Huge fenced in yard with double gate to prevent slipping out. I wouldn’t hesitate to send my pups back to Rich!”
“Ryan EXCEEDED my expectations! He has an intuitive way with dogs. He is very knowledgable about dogs & dog behavior. Ryan is the real deal-- a true animal lover & kind, decent human being. He communicated well with pics and updates during my dog's visit. During our initial meeting I felt an instant rapport he had with my dog that put me at ease. His home is VERY dog-centric! The visiting dogs are not confined and are free to mingle and find their own place to relax. There are ample dog beds, couches, human beds and floor space for lounging and sleeping. I especially appreciate that Ryan limits the number of dogs he boards at one time to a very small group, & makes sure they vibe well together beforehand. The living space Ryan and his boarders occupy is all on one level, which is great for my dog with arthritis. There is a wooded trail for walks adjoining the yard, and a guest bedroom if a dog needs some quiet alone time. I would HIGHLY recommend Ryan and I plan to use him again!”

Valerie provided updates during the week to let us know how Daisy was adapting and getting along with everyone and how much her family loved having her.
