A typical day
I’ll make sure your pet has fun doing whatever they enjoy most. Whether that’s going on walks, taking their time on a sniff walk, playing fetch, tug-of-war, running around outside, or just hanging out and getting lots of pets, I’ll match their energy and personality. My goal is to make sure they get plenty of exercise, and feel comfortable while giving them lots of love and attention.

I’ve always loved animals and have been around dogs my whole life. I have a 6 year old Great Pyrenees mix that I’ve had since he was a puppy, and he’s about 180 pounds, so I’m very comfortable with large dogs. I’ve also cared for numerous dogs of all sizes for friends, family, and neighbors. I know every dog is different, and I always try to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away.

Raegan has had a deep love and respect for animals for as long as I can remember, it's something she grew up around, watching me care for our own pets, and it clearly stuck. She's incredibly empathetic, not just to people but to every living thing she encounters. Whether it's a nervous rescue dog or a neighbor's cat, she has a calm, patient way of putting animals at ease. A few years ago, we volunteered together at Pata Animal Shelter in Sámara, Costa Rica, and it really showed me who she is when it comes to animals in need. She didn't hesitate to jump in with the dogs that were more fearful or standoffish, taking the time to earn their trust rather than just gravitating toward the friendly ones. She was hands on with feeding, cleaning, and just sitting with the dogs that needed comfort, the kind of work that takes real patience and genuine care, not just enthusiasm. She's responsible, attentive to detail, and genuinely happy when she's around animals, it's not a chore for her, it's something she loves. As someone currently studying biology, she also brings a real understanding of animal health and behavior to how she cares for pets. I'd trust her completely with any animal, and I know pet owners would feel the same."
