About: I worked at a dog daycare and boarding camp, where I walked, fed, and (orally) medicated dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. I also enjoy pet photography so you can expect plenty of cute pictures! I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to spend with your fur family! My work days vary but I am always available Sundays and most evenings. I want both pet and parent to feel safe and comfortable! I'd like to do free meet and greets before services to make sure your pet and I are the right fit!
About: Growing up in a rural area I have had experience with most animals, from dogs to exotics, and love them all. I have a Bachelors in Animal Science from TAMU and worked for the Vet School during my undergrad. Not only do I have many of my own pets, but I have been trusted to care for others’ furry family members for several years. I formerly did dog training on the side so if you have any particular things your pups need to work on l would be happy to help! This also means puppies are no problem for me. Animals of all ages can have unique growing pains, but with a little consistency and positive reinforcement they can be the perfect pup! In addition, I have worked at a vet clinic previously, giving me the opportunity to develop strong skills when it come to handling different situations: including senior dogs, medication administration, etc. I am currently pursuing my masters, which leaves my schedule fairly open for you furry friends when I’m not in class! However, I do already have prior bookings for most of the holidays. When doing overnight or in home services I consider myself a very clean person that keeps to themselves; I will treat your home better than my own and try to leave it cleaner than before!

About: I went to college to be a Vet and although I ended up in sales I definitely learned the basics on how to take care of your pet. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and energy levels, from energetic puppies who need structure and training reinforcement to senior dogs who require a little extra patience and care. My background as a vet student also means you can trust me to be consistent, communicative, and professional. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine! 🐾 I’m pivoting from sales into marketing and, while job-hunting, I love spending my time caring for dogs. With a flexible schedule, I can give your pup all the walks, playtime, and snuggles they need. 💕 follow your pet’s routine to keep them happy and stress-free—feeding, walks, playtime, and snuggles included. 🐾 I’ll also keep things tidy and send photo updates so you always know how your pup is doing. 💕

About: I've been caring for dogs and cats for most of my life, helping family, friends, and neighbors with everything from daily walks and feeding to overnight care while they're out of town. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a slower pace, I'm happy to adapt to what makes them happiest. I'm comfortable caring for multiple pets, following detailed feeding and medication instructions, reinforcing established routines, and sending regular photo and video updates so you can relax while you're away. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. My goal is for your pet to feel cared for and for you to have complete peace of mind. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to provide dependable care throughout the week. Whether your pet needs a midday walk, drop-in visits, evening care, or overnight stays, I'll do my best to accommodate your needs. I believe consistency is important for pets, so I work to keep them on their normal routine with feeding, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I'm happy to communicate throughout each visit by sending photos and updates, so you'll always know how your pet is doing while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my highest priorities. When caring for pets in your home, I'll follow your instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, crate routines, and any special needs. I take the time to earn each pet's trust and never force interactions, allowing them to feel comfortable at their own pace. I'll keep your home clean and secure, make sure doors and gates remain closed, and provide plenty of affection, enrichment, and exercise based on your pet's individual personality and energy level. My goal is to give your pet loving, reliable care while giving you confidence that they're in good hands.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
