“As usual, Cleo had a great day with Liying. She had many playmates and I got a lot of videos all throughout the day. I don't think she even rested from playing so now she is down and out! Thank you Liying and Andy for taking care of Cleo today! ❤️”

“Payton was absolutely amazing with Teddy! From the moment we met, I felt completely at ease leaving him in her care. She went above and beyond—sending updates and photos, sticking to his routine, and treating him like her own. Teddy was happy, comfortable, and clearly so well loved. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would 100% recommend Payton to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their dog 🐾💙”

“Sheyla was very attentive and provided great care for my dogs Maverick and Ivy today. We went for a meet and greet before the day care so she could meet my dogs, as they are medium/ large size dogs. Everything went well during day care and Sheyla was very responsive, followed instructions and made sure to keep them calm and comfortable, she even played calming music after they got to her house to calm them down!”

“Oliver loves coming to see Angela! She keeps me updated with pictures and videos of how Oliver is doing and he always looks so happy! Angela has been so accommodating as well with last minute delays or booking mistakes on my part!”

“June took great care of our 16 week old puppy. Simba was just back from his last set of shots and June made sure he was comfortable in the company of the other doggos in the house. She sent us pictures and video of Simba during his time there. This helped us feel at ease as well. We could see that SImba was happy and comfortable spending time there.”

“We absolutely love Mercedes and couldn’t be happier with the care she provides. She shares regular updates and photos, which gives us so much peace of mind while we’re away. She’s always responsive, timely, and incredibly flexible and accommodating. Most importantly, she takes amazing care of Dudley, and it truly shows. We’re so grateful to have found her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.”

“Carolyn was super sweet and her space was perfect for my dogs to run around for the day! I was traveling so it was such a relief to have a little safe haven for them while I was busy.”

“Tori did such a great job with my Louee, she was very attentive and patience. My Louee has never been away from home, Tori made it a priority to follow his home routine as much as possible. Tori sent pictures during his stay to ease my mind, which was very comforting for my family I. I definitely recommend Tori and I personally will book with her again.”

“Piyaon was so friendly and her home was very warm, welcoming and clean. My Bruno trusted her very quickly and felt right at home and relaxed. Thanks Piyaon we will see you again”

“As a dog caregiver, Claudia is a reliable person. I feel like my dog really enjoyed his stay at Claudia’s house. Claudia also updated me with pictures of Snowy playing with her other dogs and having a great time.”

“My dog seemed to have a wonderful time with Alejandro and Keyla. She met some other doggie pals and was able to run freely outside in the backyard. When she got home she was super worn out from all the playing. She will definitely being going back!”

“Love Natalie and her services! She is so kind and so understanding. She loves on Phoebe and gives her exactly what she needs (which can be a lot some days!), she’s attentive, compassionate, fun and loving. Will continue to use and highly recommend her!”

About: I have taken care of dogs most all my life. We treat our animals like family. People always ask me to pet sit, bathe, teach tricks, feed and snuggle with their pets. I have 2 Toy Poodles that are really friendly with other animals. I am a Therapist and I have a very flexible schedule. I have 2 Toy Poodles that are my life. Pets will never be left alone. We feed, bathe (if needed), go to potty, and alway have access to Safe pet toys. I leave dry food and water down at all times. I have a fenced back yard. I have 2 pets of my own that have free reign of the house. I try to keep routine that pets are used to

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience and comfort with a wide variety of animals. I’ve been caring for pets since I was 9 years old and have over 20 years of hands-on experience with cats, dogs, turtles, fish, rabbits, pigs, and even birds like owls. This has made me adaptable and confident in handling different temperaments, needs, and routines. As a special education teacher, I bring a high level of patience, attentiveness, and understanding to everything I do. I’m calm, reliable, and very detail-oriented, which helps me provide consistent, thoughtful care. I’m especially good with shy, anxious, or senior pets that may need extra time, structure, or a gentle approach. I carefully follow all care instructions, maintain routines, and communicate clearly with pet owners. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for—just like they would with family. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. As a special education teacher, I have a consistent weekday schedule, which allows me to provide reliable care in the mornings, evenings, and weekends. I’m available for feeding, check-ins, walks, and quality time before and after work, and I have more flexibility on weekends and during school breaks. Because I’m used to structured routines, I’m very dependable and make sure pets are cared for on time and according to their usual schedule. I enjoy incorporating pet care into my day and making it a priority so each pet gets the attention and consistency they need. I provide a safe, calm, and welcoming environment for pets in my home. I live in a secure community, and my house has a large fenced backyard where pets can play and get fresh air safely. Inside, I make sure pets have a clean, comfortable space to relax and feel at home. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, exercise, and any special instructions. I always supervise outdoor time and prioritize safety at all times. My goal is to create a stress-free environment where pets feel secure, cared for, and treated like part of the family.
“Lewis was excellent in watching Max and sending us updates. We have been extremely happy with how professional and caring Lewis is to our pup. Highly recommend Lewis for your daycare needs.”

About: Hi, i’m Mia, a very patient animal lover who has several pets myself (dog, cat, ferret, leopard gecko, even a snail!). I’ve been pet sitting for about five years now and would love to expand my services to you and your adorable pet! My experience with dogs varies; I specialize with energetic and friendly to timid and shy dogs. I’m great with senior dogs and puppies who need a little more attention and care! I’m capable of working with dogs of every size besides gigantic. I’m extremely fond of cats. I’ve worked with a range of cats all different personalities. I will not force an interaction if they do not want that, i’ll feed, offer treats, and clean as needed. If me and your pet aren’t a great fit or refuse to interact, that’s okay. It’s plain respect and I refuse to cross any boundaries they aren’t comfortable with. I can do basic care without intruding too much. I’m currently not working full or part time. I start college soon. Your pets will fit perfectly into my schedule and give me something to do. I will be paying full attention to your pet. I have a fenced backyard with plenty of play space, potty breaks, and entertainment. My neighborhood has a long, quiet trail for dog walking. I have a dog as well who will be crated for safety regardless. My cat will be staying in her designated area. My house is pet safe for all types!
About: Animals seem to gravitate to me, I have never had an issue befriending a stray dog, cat, or even llama. I’m always that one guy in the room petting the dog. I have a natural knack for animal care as well and spend a lot of time just being friends with my pets. I am currently looking for a part time, flexible job that allows me to be with my family more. Therefore I am currently not working as I look and I am fully available. I have a couple of schedule items that I work around but overall I have a very open schedule that pet care will work wonderfully with. In my home we have more of a relaxed environment. Dogs are allowed to run around the home freely for most hours of the day. Cats are allowed to roam the catio outside freely. No cats are indoors and dogs are let outside twice daily to run and play and a third time just to use the restroom. Dogs and cats are fed twice daily and water is freely available. In a clients home I follow any guidelines they have.

As of August 2026, there are 1,290 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Brazos Country. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Brazos Country commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
