“Sarah took our pup for a week while my family went on vacation. She was wonderful with daily updates and photos (great communication). Will definitely be using her again. Our pup was happy and comfortable”

“My pups Zeus and Dakota had an amazing time! Nadya was quick with responding to every update I asked for and any questions! Would highly recommend and will be dropping them off again for any future travels!”

“Shatane and her family were absolutely amazing with my two dogs. They sent great updates of how they were doing and amazing pictures and videos. Have both my dogs plenty of exercise outside in the backyard and treated them as if they were their own. It made a week of travel less stressful to know my two were taken care of so well. Highly recommend.”

BIO I have been a pet owner since I was a kid and have always been helping neighbors with their pets by walking their dogs for the elderly neighbors, caring for bunnies or cats and helping brush horses and moving them to pasture in my neighborhood growing up in Germany. I have been a dog, cat, and chicken owner for a while, and we even have a rabbit, and adopted a leopard gecko at some point. I am also a wife, mom of 4 kids and enjoy home making/ and a lot of home steading here on our micro farm. Staying at home and being available to my kids is priority. I am luckily they share my love for animals. I am a long time U.S. resident (since 2007), and have been raised in Germany. My English is fluent, and I have been told that I don't have an accent anymore, so communicate is definitely not an issue. I would love to care for your little furry (or not so furry) pet, may it be checking in for a feed or potty break, overnight stay, or a relaxing or vigorous walk. I am looking forward to meeting you! I am stay at home mom and have a lot of flexibility when it comes to stepping out to visit your furry friend. All I ask is to have notice and be respectful of my time and schedule. And I will reciprocate this of course! I am flexible and cater to anybody's unique needs. As long as I have ample notice and frequent communication. I am happy to send pictures and text messages during a visit/feeding if so desired. Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
“I couldn’t be happier with the care my dogs received! This family truly love animals and treat them like family. They kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. My dogs came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and compassionate dog sitter. I will definitely be booking with them again!”

“Giseli was great - her two dogs were wonderful, she was super flexible with us, and our golden retriever had a wonderful time with loads of walks and play. She sent pictures throughout which made us very happy and comfortable that all was well, as this was Duke's first stay away from home.”

“A great environment for large, energetic dogs who need to burn off energy on long walks and play sessions in the backyard. Daran is knowledgeable and cares deeply for animals entrusted to him. A great option for extended stays and day visits.”

“Wonderful experience with Meghan and her family! They were responsive to questions and sent pictures of Cody throughout the week. He came back happy and nicely tuckered out, would not hesitate to recommend them!”

“Thank you so much for bandits visit! Sarah and Ben are fantastic dog sitters that were very accommodating. Bandit seemed to really love his time there and didn’t want to come home from his vacation.”

“Eileen is amazing!! She was so easy to connect and work with!! I used Eileen’s services for my 9 month Australian Shepherd who is quite active and because of his age and size, he gets nervous around other people and dogs. Eileen made us and my dog not only comfortable but made him social with other dogs! She kept me posted with my dogs pics twice in a day, she replied to all my messages in timely fashion. I will work with her again and would highly recommend her to anyone! She is great!!”

“Our 2 pups stayed with a Jeremy and Rui for a week. They very super communicative and responsive (both before and during) answering any questions and also sending pictures and updates. Dogs came back tired and happy (in the best way). When I picked the pups up I could see how happy they were and also didn’t want to leave bc of how much fun they had! Will definitely be rebooking again.”

“Jamie was incredibly sweet and welcoming from the start making sure Cosmo felt comfortable during the meet-and-greet as well as his stay. Her adorable pup Luna played such a big role in helping Cosmo settle in quickly, and before we knew it, he was completely comfortable with their family. Usually Cosmo prefers staying in his crate while boarding, but with Jamie’s family he became so relaxed that he preferred their bed instead, which truly showed how safe and loved he felt there. Jamie also kept us updated regularly, giving us so much peace of mind. This is honestly the fastest I’ve ever seen Cosmo warm up to a family, and we’re definitely looking forward to many more stays. Highly recommend Jamie and her wonderful family for anyone looking for loving care for their furry buddies!”

About: My love for animals started at an early age. As a child, I constantly begged my parents for a dog. The rule was that we could only get one when every family member was old enough to help care for it. With my youngest sibling being six years younger, I had a bit of a wait – but we finally adopted our first dog when I was a teenager, and soon after, a second joined the family. That’s when my pet care journey truly began. Since then, I’ve adopted my own pets (currently have one six year-old DSH cat) and regularly help care for the pets of friends and family when they’re out of town or at work. When your pet is with me, they’ll be treated with love, respect, and personalized care – just like one of my own. Whether your fur baby enjoys walks, playtime, snuggles, or simply prefers quiet company, I’ll make sure their unique needs and preferences are always honored. I work from home full-time, which allows me the flexibility to take walks and breaks throughout the day. I’m available Monday through Friday as well as some weekends. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to discuss specific dates and times. I’m located near the beach, which makes for a great walking spot but I’m also happy to stroll through the neighborhood if your dog prefers a quieter route. I have a yard where we can play fetch or run around, though it is not fenced in. Inside, there’s plenty of space for your dog to explore and relax freely. If I need to step out briefly, I prefer to use a crate for their safety – if that’s something your pet is comfortable with. I also have a six year old DSH cat. He’s friendly, but tends to keep to himself when there are others in the house so he will likely stay in a separate room by choice.
“Theresa always goes above and beyond! Our puppers love her. She constantly sends updates and pictures and sticks to their schedule and care instructions. I am always in so much peace when my dogs are under her care. I never double think when booking her!!”

About: As a dog mom myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I treat every dog like family with kindness, patience, and close attention to their safety and happiness. Hi, I’m Analee! I’m a huge animal lover and a pet parent myself to my dog, Nemo, and my cat, Stitch. 🐾 I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets, so I’ll always treat yours with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and a friendly one year old Cavapoo named Nemo who loves other dogs. If your dog enjoys canine companionship, supervised playtime is always an option. I also have a friendly cat who is comfortable around dogs, but interactions will only happen if everyone is comfortable and it is appropriate. I closely supervise all pets, follow your care instructions, and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and treated like part of the family while they’re with me.

“I was visiting from out of town and needed a dog sitter last minute. Shelby responded very quickly to my request and was super accommodating for a last minute booking. I immediately felt at ease when I dropped Cola off. The entire family came out to greet us, it was very sweet! I was sent great pictures, videos, and updates regularly during Cola's visit and really appreciated that! Cola looked to have A LOT of fun staying w/Shelby and family! I would definitely recommend her! Thanks so much Shelby!!!”

“Samantha took excellent care of Kiki. She provided a loving environment with lots of petting and walks. I would recommend her and will certainly book with her again in the future.”

“An exceptional stay for my little pupper. They were very communicative accommodating and very kind. This was actually the first time we've ever left our dog with someone and will definitely be doing it again with them. They also were able to help me out in a pinch last minute to walk her the following week. Can't say enough positive things about them”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Brant Rock
Jordan and her husband were everything you could want in a sitter: reliable, responsive, and kind. They treated our Murph like she was a sibling to their doodle Bo. Every picture they shared confirmed that we made the right choice by booking with them. We were a little concerned our Murph wouldn’t want to come home with us after! 😅 If you’re on the fence, don’t be. They are exactly the type of people you want caring for your dog while you’re away. We will absolutely be rebooking with them.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Jordan took wonderful care of our dog while we were away. They were attentive, responsible, and clearly experienced — sending regular updates and photos that put us completely at ease. Our dog came home happy, healthy, and well cared for. We truly appreciated the love and attention they gave. Thank you so much, and we’ll definitely be booking again! 🐶❤️

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Brant Rock home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Brant Rock.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Brant Rock sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
