About: I’ve had and been around dogs all my life, from free roaming farm dogs to the most spoiled Pomeranians. I’m the guy who has treats and a leash in his car just in case I see a loose dog running around or hear there’s one nearby. I’m the guy who will remember your dog’s name, but probably not yours. I’m the guy pet owners warn that their dog is anxious of people, only to watch their dog sense my immediate love for them. I work as a freelancer, so my availability is mostly wide open outside of some specific appointments and projects that will be noted in my profile. In your home, I will follow any patterns and schedules you request to maintain a consistent experience for your dog. I have three dogs in my home consisting of two puppies and one senior, so I will not be hosting any appointments here at this time.

About: Hello! My name is Emilie and I have been caring for animals my entire life. I received my first dog (a lab) as a birthday gift at 5 years old and loved every minute of it. Since then, our family has gotten two more dogs (one being another lab, the second a small Lhasa Maltese) and two bunnies. I love animals so much I started working at a veterinary clinic. Here I dealt with a large variety of animals, from ferrets to birds, including dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, needs, and temperaments. I am PetTech (PetSaver) certified and trained in CPR, First aid, and care and can provide the certification upon request. I have an extensive background in administering many different medications (as well as oral vaccines). I also have trained several dogs in the past. Many around me know of my passion for animals, thus being how I became known as the neighborhood animal sitter, sitting nearly a half dozen neighborhood pets alone. I have cared for and pet-sat neighborhood animals including dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, and fish for a number of years. I feel like I have a deep connection and understanding with every animal I meet, and I love to make both my and their day spending time together! That is why I am on this app, to spend more time doing what I love- taking care of and playing with your fur baby! I am a business owner, so I welcome and am pretty flexible with drop-in visits requests. I find working with animals to be very rewarding and fulfilling to me. I am looking to set up reoccurring daily and/or weekly pet care. I would love to get to know several animals very well and provide them the topmost quality care on a consistent basis. I also treat your home with respect, ensuring I strictly follow your directions as well as clean up after both myself and your fur baby. If you allow, I would love to spoil your pet with their favorite treats, activities, and mental stimulation/engagement. I enjoy providing picture updates for my clients. Living in Appleton, I can make just about any time work with a notice in advance. In hopes of doing this nearly full time, I would love to fill my week completely with pet sitting Monday-Friday. Having owned pets as well as having worked at a vet clinic, I prioritize keeping a close eye on each critter I watch. I know how important each individal animal's wellbeing is and how quickly that could change. I feel confident that I am always hyper-aware of animals' saftey and keep the closest eye on them and their health, as I know what to watch for.

“Laila was awesome! I am VERY particular with who I would leave the care to for my Chesapeake Bay Retrievers... as all of us pet owners are. So often I pass on fun places to go because I don't want to kennel my dogs. I found Laila to be communicative to let me know how the dogs were doing; i.e. sending me pics and texts periodically. I came home to a neat house and exactly the way I left it and to happy content dogs. I honestly think the dogs missed her when they realized she was gone and "Mom" was home. I cannot recommend her enough... and I know that will probably increase her unavailability for me when I need her, but she gets a 5 star plus plus plus from me... and again I am super particular with who I let walk or watch my dogs. About: I've grown up with dogs and once I lived on my own, soon adopted 3 cats. I've had several dogs and cats throughout my life, loving them as my children. Every animal I meet melts my heart in their own special way and I fall in love every time. I would be honored to care for your fur [or scale!] baby/ies! I currently work part time at petco in the evenings mostly. I do have my own animals, but find myself always wishing I had more. I have plenty of time and heart to give! I will feed your animal the directed amount in the directed time. I will play with your cat/dog several times throughout the day. For dogs, potty breaks every 2 hours minimum. And as many cuddles and hugs as they want!

“We were on the road to Florida and our pet care fell through. I have never used this service, but my daughter told me about it as we were driving. Rather than turning around and canceling our trip, i began digging in to find care. But, a complete stranger in my home for 10 days!?!? The search was on!! It was reassuring that Rover completes background checks on all care givers. After searching, and contacting many employees, I reached out to Gabriella, and she responded so timely. She was on board and available to help me with our Boxer. Galadriel (Ellie), who is truly a love but not good with other dogs. This service and Gabriella, saved our trip!! She was very responsible, trustworthy, and went over and beyond what her responsibilities were. She brought in packages without being asked. She also cared for our Bearded Dragon, Ozzy, because she saw the need. She stayed the night, and basically took care of the house in our absence. I will definitely be referring this service and reserving Gabriella in the future!!! Thank you Gabriella, truly you took a weight off my shoulders at the start of our trip, and kept it off by taking such great care of our Ellie!!”

About: Former employee at a doggy day care who made to ensure dogs are taken care of and trained. Also grew up around animals both cats and dogs my entire life! I currently only work two days a week at a salon. Tuesday and Wednesday. I am very flexible and willing to accommodate any and all schedules. I always make sure animals are fed walked and played with when animal sitting or if they have any additional medication/accommodations I double make sure they are taken care of. Any extra bathing nail trimming or longer walks I love to do as well.

About: I've had pets since I was about three, so by six, I was walking the dog around the neighborhood, which taught me how strong I wasn't quite yet. Most of my experience with pets was with cats and dogs. I had two reptiles as well in our home. I have administered medication to a dog once during a stay, and would feel comfortable helping with medication if given instruction. I have a fairly open schedule right now, and I'm hoping that Rover can help me make some extra money on top of my job as a delivery driver. I can provide care by letting dogs out, taking them for walks, grooming, and playing with them. I respect people's privacy and will stay in areas of the home that I'm asked to be in.

About: I have taken care of many animals ranging from dogs-cats-birds and fish. I am trusted and relied upon to take care of neighbors, friends, and family pets. I am a college student studying animal health and medicine. I can work with animals of all walks of life including those with disabilities that are in need of extra care. I am free for you to use when you need a break. I am available all five weekdays, all day long. Depending on your schedule. I will be able to take care of your pet so that you don't have to worry that your pet would be alone for too long. When I take care of client's pets I like to keep the pet at their home so their pets can stay as stressfree as possible. I can keep your pet with their normal routine (like taking your dog on their normal walk and feeding your pet at the time you would if you were home). While the client is gone for an extended amount of time I always like to spend at least one night with their pet to keep them company. I also will stay with their pet when it storms to ensure that their pet isn't alone when they need it most.

About: i have taken care of animals for 10 years. everybody is always able to count on me to take care of their pets and cats for them. I am currently unemployed but I have worked on a dairy farm for 4 years. i dont have a schedule, tuesday evenings I ride horses. i have a well trained dog who i am able to let out without a leash. I only let him out because i have trained him. When it comes to somebody else’s animals I will do the appropriate measures.
