About: I have been an emergency and critical care veterinary technician for 10 years so I’m very comfortable with senior pets or pets with medical needs. I work relief at two pet hospitals and have 3 children so no 2 days looks alike for me and that’s how I like it. I love to be outdoors and love finding new places to walk and explore with my little crew. I live in the country so my backyard includes trials, fields, and woods to play in. I also love to travel so I know how stressful it is to leave your pup with someone else so I’ll be sure to send lots of pictures and as many updates as you’d like! About: I have had a love for dogs my entire life! I was blessed to grow up with the sweetest Black Lab and my family welcomed a toy poodle to our family when I was 12. In the last couple of years, the family dogs have gone from 2 to 6 with the addition of my in-laws. About: I've been taking care of dogs on my own since middle school. We've always had a family dog in the household as well as friends and neighbors who would need help with their little ones. I have a BS in Animal Science, have worked as an emergency vet assistant/triage tech for the last 3 years, and have some professional dog training experience. About: I have experience caring for animals of all kinds, though I can currently only offer in-my-home care to dogs. I have always had family pets growing up. I got my own dog when I was in high school. I currently own 2 well-mannered dogs, a hunting labrador and a scent detection pit-mix. I have more than 2 years of professional gun dog training experience, and have trained over 50 puppies/dogs. I currently work from home, so I will be able to accommodate any schedule your pet may need. My own dogs recieve 2 feedings per day (5am and 5pm). We often take a morning walk (typically no less than 1-2 miles, less if I am walking a young puppy or senior dog with mobility issues). Also evening walks if weather is appropriate. I do not allow my dogs to do strenuous activity or rough play right after a meal. The yard is not fenced, so dogs will be on leash or long-line and fully supervised when outside the home. For off-lead outdoor fun we will take trips to the local dog park (not a very heavily trafficed dog park, usually empty). I have experience providing oral and subcutaneous medication to pets, should your pet need medication while in my care.

About: I’m the type of person who goes to a party and makes friends with the dog. My friends know I’m around when they see a blanket covering up their sleeping pup. My family has nicknamed me dog girl because I take on the challenge of caring for all of them during family functions. About: For years I have walked and taken care of my neighborhoods dogs. I even had a dog myself and would take him on walks everyday. I now have a cat with my significant other and love playing with him. When I get home from work I like to go on walks, but I miss walking my late dog so walking and taking care of someone else animal would make me happy and also them. Making sure the yard is safe and doors or fences are close before letting the animals out. Making sure everything is put away and not in reach of the animals unless it is their toys or things meant for them.
