About: I have been an emergency and critical care veterinary technician for 10 years so I’m very comfortable with senior pets or pets with medical needs. I work relief at two pet hospitals and have 3 children so no 2 days looks alike for me and that’s how I like it. I love to be outdoors and love finding new places to walk and explore with my little crew. I live in the country so my backyard includes trials, fields, and woods to play in. I also love to travel so I know how stressful it is to leave your pup with someone else so I’ll be sure to send lots of pictures and as many updates as you’d like! I work relief/per diem at multiple emergency pet hospitals and I have 3 kids so not one single day looks like the next. My schedule is set about 2 months in advance so just ask about days you need! I have a very low key beagle and 3 small children that are good with dogs. We live in the county so there is lots of room and trails to explore.

About: I'm a dog person through and through! I've only ever owned dogs my whole life, and I'd never have it any other way. Training them, playing with them, caring for them, it all fills my heart with so much joy. To me, dogs are one of life's greatest gifts, a true blessing from God. They love without conditions and make every day a little brighter. I wouldn't trade a single wagging tail or muddy paw print for anything. I work from home, so your pups will never be left alone for long. While I'm in my office, they'll have Stryda as a built-in playmate, and together the pack keeps each other happy, busy, and engaged throughout the day. Between their playtime and my breaks to check in, cuddle, and toss a ball around, your dogs will get plenty of love and attention, just like my own. I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your pup! I’m great with communication and more than glad to send you daily updates on how your pup(s) doing with me! Your pup will feel right at home with me! I have a fenced yard and a loving Australian Shepherd named Stryda, who’s sweet and playful with all dogs. Your dog will always have fresh water, plenty of playtime, and a comfy, safe space to relax. I’ll keep them active, well cared for, and showered with attention throughout the day. Whether it’s a good play session, a cozy nap, or just some cuddles, I’ll treat your dog like one of my own, and I’m always happy to keep you updated however you’d like.
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old and have a passion for giving them the best life! I will treat your pet as my own, making sure they are well taken care of and happy. I'm always ready and willing to go for walks, give them approved treats, lots of play time and willing to give them medicines if needed as well! I am available most of the time!! I can be available for early morning walks, afternoon potty breaks, or weekend runs around the block! Pets are a huge priority in my life and I will make your pet one of my biggest priorities. I currently have three rescue dogs and one rescue cat. I understand that every pet is different in their comfort level with humans. We can also use FaceTime or Zoom to check in. 🐶🤩 At age 61, I’ve been a retired teacher for 3 years, and my activity level allows me to run or play with your beloved dog. In your home, I follow instructions and do the routine for your beloved just like you would. However, if I’m allowed to give more snuggles, or more walks, or more training than you normally have time for, I’m at your service.

My cat used to be very anxious when I come home due my work hours; however, since having Sara's drop-ins she is very calm, sweet and playful when I come home-!!. Sara is very sweet and has a calm demeanor. She follows the given instructions , responds to messages on time, send you awesome pictures and videos and you can tell she tries to take care of your pet like one of her own. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
