About: I have been an animal lover and owner for all 42 years of my life. I take pride in thorough training, including obedience and manners, and in the past have participated in breed-specific training courses for German Shepherds. I have experience with large breeds, including German Shepherds, and high energy breeds like German Shorthaired Pointers, as well as small, timid or feisty breeds. I have been routinely told by fellow dog owners, friends, family, etc. that I have an excellent "dog energy" and dogs seem to be drawn to me, even those dogs who are typically shy or standoffish. I have patience and understanding of dogs and psychology, and do my best to adjust myself to each dog/pet and situation. I'm familiar with dog allergies, including dietary restrictions and special skin care needs. My home is quiet, clean, and free of synthetic fragrances, so your pup's sensitive nose won't be bothered. I work part time and typically set my own hours so I am available as needed for potty breaks, walks, feeding, playtime, stop ins, etc. I have a partially fenced in yard with plenty of green space on the river near downtown Menasha. I live in very close proximity to beautiful walking trails and paths, and am very willing to take trips to the dog park if desired by the owner. I provide high quality limited ingredient grain-free treats and a variety of stimulating toys.

“This was my first time using Roover, I did not know what to expect. The experience was wonderful. Prior to booking Maxwell set up a time for me to bring my dog over to meet his family. I was able to get the feel for if it was a good fit for my dog. And it was! I booked for a night. Drop off was great, pickup was good, and communication before and during the stay was helpful. I was surprised how tired my dog was when she came home. She was more tired staying with Maxwell then going to a kennel. When I saw how tired she was I knew she had a great time!”
