About: With five years of experience, I've developed a deep understanding of dog care, gained from working at various doggie daycare and boarding facilities. I also provide home visits, walks, and host dogs in my own home. I foster for a rescue, ensuring that my personal fosters and client dogs are kept separate. I live with two cats, one of whom is very dog-friendly, and two female dogs who are more reserved, preferring interactions on their own terms. My male Pitbull, however, is very playful. All my dogs are comfortable crating overnight and when I'm at work. I can only board male dogs, or smaller, submissive female dogs under 30 pounds. I work part time I’m the summer with a varying schedule. During the school year I am a teacher. I am gone from 7:30-4 daily. When dogs visit my home they are leashed in the yard, and will probably keep a drag leash on them while they learn the boundaries of the home. I will crate and rotate if needed to give the dogs time to settle in. I can provide mealtime enrichment in the forms of snuffle mats, frozen meals fillable treat toys, puzzle treats, snuffle games etc. I have boundaries in my home when it comes to behavior and dogs will get breaks in their kennel as needed for cool down time or an overstimulation break. If a dog has structural needs or some behavioral concerns, I am happy to talk about how/if I can accommodate them in my home. We have an abundance of chew toys, stuffies, and balls for dogs to play with but we can also remove them if your dog has some resource guarding tendencies with new dogs. When doing drop ins in a client home I make sure to be non threatening when arriving and giving the dogs lots of space and time to get used to me before expecting to take them out of their crate. I would need a breakdown of the house rules and can hold the boundaries needed. For walks, I don’t want to be tugged around, so I can provide alternate tools to help the dog walk better, including but limited to; head halters, front clip harnesses, slip leads, prong collars(I am trained in how to fit and use them properly). This can all be a discussion before services are scheduled. I also prefer to meet all my clients beforehand to ensure a proper fit for my home. All of my dogs are utd on their Rabies & Distemper/Parvo vaccines as well as spayed and neutered. They receive flea and tick preventatives monthly. Any dog I take into my care will need to be utd on distemper/Parvo and rabies vaccines at a minimum. No UNspayed females. UNneutered males will be a case by case basis. They will also need to be on flea and tick preventatives as well. Preferably oral. Over the counter topicals don’t work well.

About: I stay with my furry granddaughter, Holly, when they have to go out of town. I have a neighbor's dog that stay with me occasionally. I am currently working part-time. My schedule changes from week to week. My shifts are 6 hrs. Retired USPS and TSA officer. Reliable and trustworthy. I own a cabin on a small private lake. I feel the pets are more comfortable in their own home but, always welcome in mine.

About: Flexible schedule, lots of trails in my area for your puppies to explore, trustworthy, dependable and easily contacted. I’ve had pets of my own in the past that I loved and adored, and currently have a 3 year old eskimo/chihuahua that I adopted from the local shelter who loves to play w other dogs. I work three 12 hour shifts a week, meaning those 4 days off are great opportunities for me to walk your dog(s), stop in and check on them or stay with them. I understand the value of daily exercise and mental stimulation for a dog, so I will ensure they are getting their steps in. I also understand not everyone has the time or ability to ensure their pets receive daily exercise/time outside, and with my flexible schedule I would love to give you some peace of mind that your pet is having all of their needs met.

About: I am comfortable with puppy sitting, I take care of my grandparents cats when they are on vacation, along with this I am also an amazing nanny! Currently, I am nannying three days a week 8 AM to 4 PM, 1 1/2 weeks in June I will be working as a camp nanny 8 AM to 9:30 PM. Whether I’m staying overnight or stopping by for a drop-in, I care for your pets like they’re my own. I stick to their routine as closely as possible—meals, walks, playtime, cuddles, or just quiet companionship—whatever helps them feel safe and comfortable in their own space. About: As a child we had cats until I moved away to college. After college my husband and I adopted 2 cats, Mitten and Mimi, that have become the best part of our small family Everyday we take care of our 2 cats litter boxes and feed them 2x a day and check their water fountain to ensure everything is always fresh for them I love playing with pets and giving them the stimulation they need with their toys. When someone’s pet chooses to cuddle with me it is such a heart warming feeling

About: Growing up my neighbors always had dogs and we often took care of them while they were away, which is where my love for dogs began. In college my roommate bought a puppy and I helped her raise it for the first 2 years until we graduated. During this time, my responsibilities were being the first one to take her out to the bathroom in the morning, being that I was always the first one awake! Also because I enjoy going for runs, I was the one who brought Finn on daily walk/runs, while also helping train her to live inside our house. Also, in college, the family I nannied bought a puppy and I helped them through the first steps of training her. During this process I really learned the steps of how to care for dogs being that I was the one taking care of her from 7-5 each day. I am looking into adopting a puppy of my own now, but I wish to be more financially stable before I get one. So to satisfy my puppy fever, for now I hope to dog sit and dog walk until I can afford one of my own!

I am available days, evenings, and weekends. I know how disruptive time away cat be for your pet — I’m happy to do what I can to keep the normalcy flowing for them. I am happy to follow all guidelines you have about your pet’s care, from leashed outside visits only to regular ear scritches. I care for pets how I would want mine to be treated — safely, and with compassion.

About: Since I was young, I've helped out the local neighbors with feeding their pets while they were away. Once I got my first dog in high school, my love for animals and experience in taking care of them only skyrocketed! Currently, I have two cats, a gecko, and two dogs, with both dogs being in the 7+ range. I'm well-versed in the need for energetic dogs to be walked and played with (having a West Highland Terrier and a Lab-Rottweiler mix) so if your dog has a favorite walking path, I can make sure they get to go for a stroll even when you can't! If you're going to be gone for more than one night, I can swing by and make sure your fuzzy family member isn't feeling too lonely. I'm excellent at maintaining proper feeding guides and am diligent when it comes to dietary restrictions (if any). I've also worked at a pet store for over three years and am familiar with taking care of other animals as well! I know how to care for, clean up after, and feed: hamsters, guinea pigs, small birds, small reptiles, and freshwater fish! I keep my cats to a schedule, which they appreciate. Regular litterbox cleaning, water fountain cleaning, and a routine when it comes to getting their treats and playtime! I work full time, but have some flexibility in my morning and afternoon arrival/departure times. As I live in the heart of Brainerd, it doesn't take me long to get to many places if need be. When it comes to taking care of cats, I know that sticking to their expected routine and behaviors is ideal. If care instructions aren't written down, I write them down for myself, and follow them, not hesitating to reach out beforehand if there are questions regarding aspects of care. I also make sure to leave the cats in spots better than I arrived in, making sure there is no food or treat mess, and that litter bags are taken out to avoid any lingering odors.
