Ms. Maple received great care from Eva. She gave her two paws up! Thanks so much, Eva, for taking care of my 18-year-old lady!

About: Dog mom for over 25 years. Foster mom for 12 years. I have experience with a wide variety of dog breeds, in many different sizes, as well as major and minor medical conditions. As well as experience in medication administration. My life revolves around my dogs. I work during the day, and my evenings are for the dogs I support! My house isn’t my house, it’s my dog’s house and set up for particularly for them. I have a fenced in yard and two dogs ready to become your dogs friend. They would have access to the backyard through the doggy door and many water bowls and dog beds as well!

About: Your pets stay in a calm, cozy, home-away-from-home 💖 I have a dedicated pet room with kennels, beds, toys, TV, and a camera for constant monitoring. Hi, I’m Gigi! 🐾 I’ve been independently caring for dogs and cats since I was 18, and animals are truly my safe space. I work evenings in healthcare, so your pets get a calm, structured routine during the day and a cozy, relaxed environment at night. ✨ What makes my care different: • Dedicated pet room (beds, toys, TV, kennels) • Camera-monitored space for safety • Separate areas if needed for comfort • Calm, low-stress environment (no chaos boarding vibes) I’m experienced with multiple pets, different temperaments, and keeping routines consistent so your pet feels secure and happy 💕 I treat every animal like they’re my own — with patience, love, and attention to detail. I work full-time evenings (2:30pm–10:30pm) in healthcare, so mornings and late nights are dedicated to pet care. Pets get morning potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and attention before I leave, and I’m home at night for more care, walks, and wind-down time. My schedule works especially well for pets who are used to a consistent routine and overnight companionship. I provide a safe, calm, and structured environment in my home. I have a separate pet room set up with kennels, beds, toys, food and water dishes, and even a TV for comfort. I also have a camera to monitor pets while I’m at work to ensure they stay safe. I follow each pet’s routine closely, can crate if needed, and always prioritize comfort, cleanliness, and security.

About: Lifelong animal experience – I’ve cared for animals my entire life, not just as a job but as a way of life. • Real dog-owner perspective – With 2 dogs of my own, I understand routines, energy levels, training reinforcement, and emotional needs. • Calm, patient care – Great for shy, anxious, senior, or high-energy dogs who need consistency and understanding. • Individualized attention – I don’t do “one-size-fits-all” care. Walks, play, feeding, and downtime are tailored to your dog. • Trust & reliability – I show up on time, follow instructions closely, and communicate clearly so you can relax while you’re away. • Home-style love – Your dog is treated like family, not a booking. Hi! I’m Shelbie, a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs and cats of all personalities. I live in a peaceful rural area with plenty of space for play, walks, and safe adventures. Your furry friend will get the love, attention, and care they deserve while you’re away! Dog Boarding (In My Home – Female Dogs Only) For the safety and comfort of all pets in my care, I only board female dogs. My Australian Shepherd has a strong personality, and keeping our home harmonious means I cannot accept male dogs. Female pups are always welcome, and they’ll receive lots of love, playtime, and cuddles in a safe, home environment. I work full-time from 8–5, but I’m happy to stop by during my lunch break for local drop-ins to take your sweet guy or girl out for a potty break, walk, or some love. I’m available after 5 PM, all day on Wednesdays, and all weekends. I’m reliable, flexible, and always happy to work with your pet’s routine whenever possible. I care for pets with patience, consistency, and lots of love—whether in my home or yours. While I don’t have a yard yet, I live close to a dog park and provide plenty of walks, playtime, and mental stimulation to keep dogs happy and exercised. I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, play, and downtime. Safety and comfort always come first, and I make sure pets get individual attention, affection, and enrichment. In your home, I respect your space while ensuring your pet feels secure and relaxed in their familiar environment. I’m attentive, reliable, and treat every pet as if they were my own.

Fantastic personality! Loves ALL animals. She said she would even pet sit for farm animals. My cats loved her and she was SO good with them. She sent pictures of them when she visited which I really appreciated. Flexible schedule and showed up when she said she would. Communicated if she was running behind or had to change times. Highly recommended as an in home pet sitter!

About: I grew up on a farm and had animals of all kinds around me. From chickens, cats, dogs, cows, pigs, horses and even lizards - you name it and I've probably helped with it! I'm currently retired and would love to hang out, go for walks and show your family member lots of attention when you aren't able to. We love dogs and live in a quiet lakeside neighborhood with the opportunity for long, lazy walks. We have a crate onsite and can crate as needed.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
