About: Have had dogs all my life, small/large and medically complex needing meds, love to train, have done cat sitting for medical cats and normal ones I am currently a student in college but only have 2 classes a per week, also am active and am willing to change schedules around :) I am currently not taking pets for boarding as I have my own dog now, but would love to take care of your pets at your home and provide them with enrichment whenever you need/want.

About: I have cared for several work friend's pets, including someone who had 7 medium-large dogs with a laundry list of special accommodations and medications needed I am an Army Veteran going to college, this leaves my afternoons and weekends completely free. I can alter the rest of my schedule to accommodate your pet I have a dog and cat of my own, so I have experience with the difference in the needs and behaviors of the two most common household pets. About: I have had dogs all my life and have one of my own now who loves to have friends and visitors come over! I offer walking services, house visits, and boarding in the Salem, VA area. I have my own vehicle so reliable transportation is not an issue. About: I have experience caring for both elderly and young dogs. This has equipped me with a variety of skills such as age-appropriate exercise, nutritional needs, and understanding certain behaviors and how to react. I just recently graduated high-school and need something to fill my time. Playing with your pups seems to be the best thing to fill my day! About: I have 2 dogs of my own who i’ve taken care of since I was 10 years old. They are both very needy to say the least, so I’ve got experience with dogs that can be over excited/energetic. I’ve trained my dogs to do many things as well as my friends’ and family’s dogs. I recently graduated from Virginia Tech. I’ve decided to take gap year, so I’m free pretty much every day of the week and weekends for most of the time. I have a fenced in yard that i typically play with my dogs in, and i also take my dogs to tennis courts and parks to run around and have fun in!

I worked at a doggy day care for a year, as well as a dog walking company in Los Angeles where I took 5-6 dogs at a time for walks/hikes. “Chester came back, happy and tired, which that’s what my goal was. I did think that this was a dog walk for an hour but it seems that it was just him playing out in the yard so definitely not what I thought I had paid for. However, whatever was done did work. So no offense I’m gonna see if I can find somebody who will walk him and see if it has even better results. I will keep you in mind if I need a long-term sitter like for a day or two days or a week. I’m not sure if you do that or not but Might work out for me.”

I have lifelong experience caring for animals - I grew up with five cats, two Guinea pigs, and four birds! Petsitting for my neighbor’s dogs was my very first job as a kid and I have been doing it for friends, family, and coworkers ever since. I have experience caring for elderly and disabled animals, those with particular feeding schedules or allergies, and am comfortable administering medications for your pets as needed. I have cared for everything from dogs and cats to ferrets, rabbits, and even chickens. I have an extremely flexible academic schedule and an emergency/on-call employment schedule so let’s connect to see how I can meet your needs. My animals are fully vaccinated and on monthly preventatives for your pets’ wellness as much as mine. I request records of rabies vaccinations at minimum for all mandated animals, prefer all pets be on monthly preventatives (just communicate if they are not so I can be aware for the safety of other clients), and do not bring outside pet food/treats/etc into your home to avoid potential sickness or reactions. I stick strictly to what the “parents” ask from me and I make sure to send lots of pictures and updates along the way! :)

About: I grew up on a farm, always having dogs and cats around. I also worked at a small animal shelter for 3 years, where I rescued my 2 cats and dog. Later I worked at a pet supply store. We were given extensive education on pet nutrition, handling and care. I have always been friends and families go to person for their pet sitting needs. Also I cared for my husband's 2 elderly dogs when we moved in together, helping them eat, administering medications and helping them in and out of the house. I have an open schedule as I am new to the area. I am more than happy to come to you or you can come to me! Whatever your pet needs are I can attend to. If crating is needed I can do that, I live less than a mile from a nature center where we can go on hikes and walk. If I am needed in your home just let me know the details of what you would like and I can make that happen as well.
