About: I have been a dedicated pet owner and animal lover my entire life, caring for both dogs and cats from childhood through adulthood. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of raising and caring for multiple pets, including those adopted, rescued, or entrusted to me by others. At one point, I lovingly managed a household of five pets, ensuring each received attentive, compassionate care. My experience also includes caring for a beloved dog left to me by a close friend, honoring his wish that I provide a safe and loving home. Today, I continue that same level of care by helping my son and his wife with their dogs whenever they travel—my “granddogs,” who I adore. I've been enjoying travel and visiting with family and friends and when I'm home I thought I could do some things that I enjoy and help other people that may need or want to travel or just need help with their fur babies 🐕🐾🐈‍⬛️🐈 I currently do this for my son and his wife when they want to travel the world or have business trips with my granddogs 👑🐾😆🐕 For clients that need assistance with pet sitting, I usually love to have an outline of what you prefer so that I can honor the type care that you also provide your pets. I follow an outline when I care for my family's pets when they travel and they provide the list of the vitamins or any quarks or anything that I need to know a timeline and I just try to honor whoever needs care by how they would like the care handled while they are away. The main thing is that I don't want anybody to worry when I'm caring for their pets. You should be able to travel and handle business trips or vacations without worrying if you're not able to take your pet with you that they're safe and well cared for. I also like to make notes daily,if I'm giving vitamins or supplements or anything occurs I want to share. I like to keep track of it and leave that sheet for you when you return.

About: I grew up with pets almost all my life cats and dogs mostly. But I've helped friends take care of their pets like cats, dogs and some reptiles. I do my best to make sure I take care of any pets in my care. I'm available all times of the week and weekends. Only times I will not be available as if I have important things that have come to my attention. Such as medical visits and other various important appointments I keep all animals well fed.Make sure they have plenty of time to play.Go on walks and rest with plenty of peting and I make sure any special needs are met for the animals

About: For about a year and a half I volunteered at a cat rescue, working extensively with the cats to socialize them. As for dogs, I work at a doggy daycare/boarding location and have gained experience with all sorts of dogs—big to small! Through my work experience I also have experience with administering medications, senior/disabled dogs, and young puppies. I try to be as flexible as possible! I do have another job I have to work around but with notice I can be accommodating to different needs. I am very much a crazy dog mom, I understand the amount of love and care I would want put in to my pup, and so I try to put the same thought in to yours!

About: Experienced in day-to-day care, emergency situations, disabled animals (hearing/seeing impaired, as well as limited ambulatory abilities), and also post-operative care. I am available for drop-in potty break visits, walks, overnight stays, giving medication, and transportation. In addition to caring for the various animals I've had I'm my family over the years I've also been a volunteer at the SPCA since 2020, entrusted with the care of many dogs and cats during that time. I work full time from 7:30am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, however my schedule can be adjusted to accommodate early morning drop-in visits as well as overnight stays and transportation if needed. I see to my pets overall wellness, going beyond food, water, and bathroom breaks. In my mind their lives are relatively short compared to a humans, and it's important to me that animals I call family members are not only physically healthy but happy and stress free. I extend this same level of care to the furry, four-legged family members of those who entrust me with their care. Not only did Francesca care for my sons very large dogs, but when we had an unexpected change in our travel plans she took on a fourth puppy to watch with them from my husband and I. After a meet and greet we had no worries at all. She sent pictures very often, and we could tell she was genuinely enjoying our dogs. One of the dogs that can be standoffish with strangers became her buddy early on in the trip. It’s like a special power. She’s meant to do this job. And my only concern about telling everyone how fantastic she is, is that we will have competition for her time when we go to book her again! She even washed doggie linens! Seriously, she’s wonderful. About: i worked for a vets office as a kennel tech so i love all animals big and small! Growing up we always had dogs so i’ve grown up them! I Currently work at John’s Hopkins all children’s hospital 3 days a week for 12 hrs i’m also starting nursing school in september but it will be online for a little bit giving me time on my days off and days that i work to give the proper attention and love to your fur babies! I’ll follow whatever rules you have for your fur babies to keep their routine the same while you are gone and give them all the love!

About: I’ve watched over 5+ animals and house sat for over 3. I have 3 pets of my own my dog Lexi, my cat Jinxy, and my newest cat itty bitty. I love animals and have been around them my whole life. I can’t recall a single moment i didn’t have a cat in my lap or playing outside with a dog I’m currently in school at Polk state until I’m out for the summer. But a typical day in the life if me includes me getting up, getting myself together, and getting my animals what they need. Mondays and Wednesdays I am more available Tuesday’s and Thursdays I have school ,until the end of may, and I’m available more in the afternoon to evening. Weekends I’m fully available. I take care of all pets as if they were my own fur babies. I make sure to let them out regularly, take them for walks to get some energy out, clean the litter DAILY, make sure they are feed, have water, and make sure to clean their bowls after use.

“While in Colorado visiting family for Christmas we realized that our “friend” who was dog sitting was completely neglecting the dogs. We kept looking at the nanny cam seeing all 3 dogs including the 5 month old thirsty and lonely in the house all day long. Frantically, we reached out to sitters on Rover asking for last minute coverage on Christmas, knowing it was a long shot. Mattie answered our message immediately and agreed to save the day. She did an absolutely fantastic job spending quality time with the dogs, sending us pictures and videos and updates. She left the house more spotless than she found it. We could not have asked for anything more. She literally saved our Christmas vacation when we were about to cancel our trip and fly home. We will be trying to use Mattie for all future trips and cannot recommend her enough.”

About: I’ve had a dog all my life. My senior yorkie passed away last year after 18 years and I would love a dog back in the house to keep me company while I’m working from home. Experience with senior dogs including giving medicine, shots, and diaper care. Dog can be crated if needed. I work from home Monday through Friday and will be available to walk dogs throughout the day. Available select weekends. Drop off and pickup at your leisure. Located between big bend rd and sun city center east of 301. Drop your pups off while heading out of town. When I take little breaks during work I love to show my furry guest lots of love. Sometimes they even like to work with me on my lap while I’m typing up reports. I have a back yard mostly fenced in but opens to a drainage area. I have a small gate to block off an area for smaller dogs but when outside dogs will never be alone and always on a leash. I also have a gate if you don’t want your four legged friend roaming around the house. I will abide by any scheduling or training requirements you tell me and follow any instructions to a T. I know leaving your best friend behind is hard enough and I want to put your mind at ease knowing your pet is in good hands and it’s one less thing for you to worry about.

About: I am new to Rover, but not new to pet sitting. I know that pets are more like family than pets and I treat them that way! I love to be trusted to care for your beloved pet! If you want your pet to have a loving and fun experience, I am your gal! I am very flexible and my schedule is open. I am a stay at home mom and property manager. I do have errands and school pick up but mostly work from home. I am off on most weekends and holidays. I walk pets twice a day, feed twice a day, and have them go out to potty 2-3 times, unless told otherwise! We are a very easy going, pet loving family! I have a large fenced in yard and a small dog that would love to have some fur friends to play with. I also have older children that will be helping with giving walks and love.

About: I grew up with 5 fur babies in my home. 2 of them were my own! I know how to apply first aid if necessary and I am here for any needs they may need! I will treat them like my own! I can’t wait to meet and care for yalls fur babies!! I am currently unemployed! I do side gigs but I will always make time for anyone or figure out a work around. As long as it is not the day of that you are asking. The pets in my home are very loved and very well taken care of. My doggies and ferrets go on walks daily and my kitty cat runs around in the yard. We change their water every day and they get fed twice! Occasionally with treats lol. The same care will be provided for clients furry kids as well! Whatever their lifestyle is or instructions will be how I provide but with some more love!

About: I’ve had a dog since I was 15. She’s now 11 years old and a healthy pup. I was a certified vet assistant a few years back but could not handle the emotional pain of watching dogs pass in the medical field. I still love dogs and cats and enjoy caring for them. I work full time overnight so I am able to spend daytime with your pet! Tuesday and Wednesday are my usual days off. I can typically spend 6-8 hours with your pet before I leave for work at 9:30pm. My pets are kept indoors and on our screened patio. They keep a strict routine and enjoy sunbathing on the patio. It’s a relatively new home so the screening is strong and has never been broken. We have two litter robots and my home is always in clean condition.
