About: Hello, my name is Conor. The name Conor, from Irish origin, means lover of hounds or wolf lover. Growing up with labs, dog sitting for friends and family, and even living with roommates with dogs, I’ve always been around them. Now living in Asbury Park, 1 block from the dog beach, I have the ability to give your dog beach access in the mornings and afternoons! I’m a social person who is very active, will ensure your furry friend gets plenty of outside time balanced with well deserved rest and relaxation. I’m currently working M-F in the office so will only be available on the weekends for dog sitting. However, with hopes of transitioning to remote work, I should be able to take weekdays in the near future. I do live in an apartment but I am only one block from the beach. The apartment is dog friendly and home to several furry friends. There is a well kept grass yard out front and on the side of the building. On the weekends I love to get active, going on hikes and maximizing time outdoors!

“Like many others, my dog is basically my child so I always get a little nervous when it comes to finding a sitter. I contacted Cheryl to watch my 5 year old dachshund for two nights for a wedding we were attending. She was very responsive and was also conveniently located 10 minutes from our hotel. We traveled from NY and therefore didn’t get the opportunity to do a meet and greet beforehand but Cheryl reassured me that her dog Gus was friendly with everyone and when our dog met him, they got along right away. Cheryl has a fully fenced in yard with plenty of room to run around and although our dog typically sleeps on our bed, Cheryl had plenty of comfy couches and dog beds available. My dog is also an incredibly picky eater and eats fresh refrigerated dog food (he’s a diva I know) and Cheryl had no problems accommodating this. She provided many updates which I certainly appreciated. I would recommend Cheryl to others looking for a dog sitter in the area. She did a great job taking care of my fur baby and I would use her as a sitter if we were ever in the area again. Thank you for taking great care of Wilson, Cheryl!!”

About: I am a lifelong dog owner and I love our furry friends! I volunteered at dog shelters over the years and have experience working with all types of dogs including some that have behavioral issues. I also have experience with puppies and senior dogs. I was raised with dogs and currently don't have one of my own in the home so open to boarding as well! I am currently in between jobs, and starting employment as a substitute teacher soon. Until then, I am available all days of the week and weekend. Frequent walks, play time and enrichment activities are all part of the pet care I offer.
