“Ms Heather was so wonderful to our Ms Lola Mae! The meet and greet went off without a hitch. She was immediately comfortable in Ms Heather's home, which is not usually the case in other people's homes where it takes her a little while to settle in. When we dropped her off the next week for our trip, our fur baby didn't react negatively at all so while we missed her, we knew that she was going to be well taken care of. She communicated throughout the day with updates and pictures which was wonderful. Ms Heather also dog sits for other dogs at the same time and with each one our Ms Lola Mae took instantly to. Overall it was w wonderful experience and we will definitely use Ms Heather in the future. 🥰🐕🐾”

About: I have owned or cared for my own dogs my entire life. Having lost my senior 'Stanley' last year I find myself longing for a dog's company and spirit. My own dogs have lived long lives - two for 18 years, one for 17 so I know how to give meds and care for their special needs. Stanley's petsitter recommended I try Rover - so here I am! I can come to your house, or bring your dog here to my 1/2 acre fenced in yard, with a dog door to the house and lots of time to share with your pet. I am retired and in Tallahassee or the vicinity walking or meeting up with friends. I have lots of free time to share with your pet. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in yard and a dog door to the house. I have a pool. I can come to your house if needed, or care for your dog here.

About: My friends and family have regularly trusted me to care for their pets for the past 4-5 years, and I treat every dog as if they are my own. A couple years ago, I used to volunteer with dogs and cats with cerebellar hypoplasia. I’m very committed to providing safe, loving, and reliable care for your pet! I am currently off from school for the whole summer, so I have open availability most of the time! The only time I am not available is for a couple trips I am going on. Also, I do not have another job at the moment, so I can dedicate my full attention to the pets in my care. I am flexible, dependable, and happy to work with your schedule to make sure your pet gets the care and attention they deserve! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities! I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with plenty of safe walking areas and green space nearby for regular walks, exercise, and potty breaks. Since I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised on a leash to ensure your pet is always safe. I carefully follow any instructions provided for feeding schedules, crate use, medications, or anything else. I also fully respect their routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable and stress-free! From my experience volunteering with disabled dogs and cats, I am patient, attentive, and mindful of each animal’s individual needs. Ain was wonderful with my high anxiety beagle. She was very attentive to his specific needs. He normally has a hard time adjusting to new environments, but from all the videos she sent, my boy appeared to be right at home rather quickly. He wasn't eating much at first, so she even made him special food to help him eat. My boy had plenty of play time with the other dogs in her care. They all seemed to have a wonderful time running around her back yard together. She's an absolute pro, a real life dog whisperer. I hope I can get him back to see her again very soon.
Amanda was absolutely amazing with our puppy, Teddie! She treated her like family and kept us updated every day with photos and videos, which made us feel completely at ease while we were away. Teddie was so happy, comfortable, and clearly loved during her stay. Amanda’s communication was outstanding, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We are incredibly grateful and would trust her with Teddie again without hesitation. Highly, highly recommend!
Kendall and Matt were kind enough to accept a last-minute reservation for our 10-year-old Brittany who clearly enjoyed her time in their household. Kendall sent me updates and photos along the way. Our pup was having fun and resting peacefully between playtimes with the other dogs. I highly recommend Kendall and Matt and will call mom them again in the future!
I had to find a caregiver for my two little dogs on short notice because the place where they were going to stay caused them a lot of anxiety and stress. Then I found the Rover app, and there I came across Diana. Her profile and the number of reviews gave me confidence, so I quickly went to meet her in person, since it was my first time leaving my dogs in someone else’s care. Honestly, she made me feel confident and calm. She kept me informed about my dogs at all times and sent photos where I could see they were comfortable, as if they were at home, in a place where they were given love and care. Without a doubt, we will book with her again on our next vacations. Highly recommended if you want your pet to feel at home.
Madeline was absolutely amazing with our baby while we were gone. She sent pictures to us which we appreciated. She treated our baby like her own and our cavapoo was very comfortable while we were away. I'd definitely have her watch her again if we have to travel.
David is very nice, dependable and a great communicator! He has a nice shaded yard for the dogs to hang out in. Our dogs stayed with him for a few days while we were out of town and they seemed to be well taken care of when we got back. He sent pics the first couple of days but then we didn’t get updates/pics for the last few days. That would be my only constructive criticism. Other than that we were happy with him and thankful to have someone dependable to watch our dogs in Tallahassee.
