About: Since I was 6 years old my family had dogs and cats as pets. All the dogs we had we got as puppies so I handled the potty training, taught tricks and the main obedience training like sit and stay. I've watched family and friends dogs which also included days/nights at a time like when they were out of town working. I have watched and been with tiny dogs to giant dogs. I'm a stay at home mom at the moment so I have plenty of time to care for your pet pretty much at anytime day or night. I have a fenced yard so easy to let in and out as needed, big area take out or let out to play. My house is pretty open with area for them to roam or find good spot to just relax. I have never crated any of my animals but if needed or wanted obviously I could do that. If you have a special diet for your dog I would follow that for you also. My kids and I also love to go on walks and would love your dog to join. I do have three very young kids so your dog must get along with children. My kids love animals, they were very sad after losing our last dog so they'd be very excited to play with others. I currently have a cat, she'll most likely hide and if needed can be in a seperate area in the house.

6. Amy S.
“First time dog owner and Rover user and Amy was a nervous dog parent’s dream sitter! She was willing to do a meet and greet first which made me feel good that we both had an idea of what we were signing up for. It was clear the whole family would be involved, so I know our puppy got lots of kid and other dog socialization time and love. Great first experience and our puppy fell asleep as soon as she got in the car. We will confidently use Amy again as long as she’ll have us!”

About: I have raised several dogs from the time they were puppies. I have done obedience training with all of them. I truly enjoy the loyal companionship of a dog. I am currently on SSDI, so I am retired. I do have a karaoke DJ business, but that usually only takes me away one or two nights a month. I currently have a French bulldog who is fixed and he is very friendly with other dogs. I also have two cats, but I have the ability to separate them from the rest of the house.
13. Kelli G.
“Kelli has watched two of my dogs, one old lab and one puppy german shorthaired and Kelli was able to provide them both with what they needed. As a dog mom, it is hard leaving my puppers with just anyone but with Kelli, I know my pups are being well taken care of. Kelli would also send up dates and pictures which would provide me piece of mind. I highly recommend hiring Kelli to watch your pups!”

About: I have over 20 years experience caring for pets and animals. This experience includes caring for and training cats, dogs, rabbits, horses and more! I treat each animal as an individual with different personalities and needs. I also have extensive experience in training animals, from basic commands to house training, ensuring they grow into well-behaved, enriched, and happy members of the family. I also understand the unique needs of senior pets, providing gentle care, administering medications, and ensuring their comfort and well-being. Through my many years working at equine training facilities and caring for my own animals, I have a proven track record of reliability and trustworthiness. You can feel confident leaving your beloved pets in my care. I will adapt to the unique routines and preferences of your pet, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience for both pets and owners. Choosing me as your pet sitter means opting for a dedicated, experienced, and loving caregiver who will go above and beyond to ensure your pets are happy, healthy, and well-cared for. Integrating pet care seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine is not just a job, but just an extension of what I already do on a daily basis. On our farm, each day begins with attending to all our critters' immediate needs, ensuring they're fed and comfortable. Since I work from home, all the animals at our house are provide nearly full-time care and attention, keeping them stimulated and happy. At least once a day we have playtime, training, or enrichment activities, fostering their mental and physical well-being. As far as exercise, if we aren't outside doing chores and burning energy, we also can go on walks, either around the neighborhood or in a nearby park. I will always ensure your pets receive the consistent love, attention, and care they deserve, promoting their happiness and well-being while you're away. While our yard is not fenced, we have over 3 acres and are surrounded by pet-friendly neighbors. Regardless, pets are not outside unless they are being supervised. We also have a wonderful outdoor kennel that has a house with a covered porch and dog cables if you are worried about them running off and would like a little extra security. In the home, I maintain a pet-friendly environment and ensure hazardous items are secure. While we live in a rural neighborhood, we are within 5 minutes of a vet clinic and 30 minutes of an emergency vet. On top of that, I have access to many wonderful veterinarian friends that are only a phone call away. I prioritize open communication with clients to build trust and provide peace of mind, sending regular updates and photos. I will ensure your pet receives attentive care, feels safe, and is surrounded by a nurturing environment conducive to their well-being.
