My grandmother had five cats and two dogs for most of my childhood, so I am well-versed in the patience and love it takes to care for your pets. I work part-time and am fortunate to make my own schedule a lot of the time, giving me plenty of time for pet care! About: I have personally owned dogs for almost my entire life, and have been caring for other people's animals by myself since I was in middle school. I love dogs (and cats!) but being in newer teacher and my future uncertain, I cannot get a dog myself yet. I joined Rover to help people look after their pups, and get some time to hang out with dogs myself! I am professional, timely, and care a lot about the comfort and happiness of your pets! I am young and active, so I am happy to run/walk with dogs, but also enjoy down time on the couch with them. I have cared for a range of ages, from elderly to puppy, and a range of breeds. Most importantly, I have never met a dog I didn't like! Please note, I work from 7-3 on weekdays during the school year while I am completely available over the weekends and over most holidays and summer time! For pups who need more frequent potty breaks on weekday, I am unfortunately not your girl I am very kind and easy-going with pets. About: I have been an animal lover and owner for over 30 years. My 14 year old Lab is truly my best friend. He is used to other animals and very laid back. I provide lots of patience, affection and exercise for all animals. We go out 3-4 times per day for walks and potty breaks. Live right by Cherokee Park, which is a great venue for pups. I just returned home from living/working in California for a year+. Therefore my reviews are from 2023 and earlier. Please let me know about anything your pet needs to feel safe and happy. The more information the better. I can handle separation anxiety and other behavioral issues but prefer to know ahead of time. Please make sure your pet is treated for fleas/ticks. If your baby has a history of indoor urination, please provide diapers/belly bands. Happy to accommodate all ages and stages. I truly enjoy the company of animals and also like to walk often. Being in the park and exercising helps lift my spirits. My dog has improved my life in many ways and he makes me a better human. My condo is very pet friendly and permitted by the HOA. Pets are given a cool, calm and comfy environment. Plenty of memory foam beds and free access to filtered water. (Treats also, if owners request/permit). I am almost obsessively neat and always treat my customers’ homes with respect. My goal is to be as unobtrusive as possible. Scrupulous about keeping your home secure while you are away. I ask that you leave clear and detailed instructions to maintain a safe & secure home. Also, for long term services, I do not mind bringing in mail, putting trash/recycle bins out.

Thomas is awesome with dogs, and we will definitely keep using him in the future. Our dog loves him, and we are very comfortable leaving him in Thomas's care. Thomas is very professional and clear on his plan of care and overall expectations from the beginning and sends confirmation messages/texts to make sure we are all on the same page before we leave for our trip. He does exactly what we want him to do and sends lots of pictures of our big guy while on walks and lounging around. It makes traveling so much easier when you know your pet is well taken care of while you are away.
Ashton was so great and super friendly. I was a little worried at first because our dog is still a puppy and jumps and gets excited on walks when she sees squirrels and birds. She sent updates and pictures. She was also okay with coming over the day before to do a meet and greet! Would recommend!
