About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was ten years old! Between looking after my own dog and my family's, I have the experience and love to make sure your furry friend gets the attention they deserve! I'm a middle school teacher in the Louisville area, so weekends are the best for house sitting and longer watching periods! During the weekday afternoons, I would love to help check in, play with your pup, or give them a nice long walk! Communication is the most important thing. About: I absolutely love animals and have my whole life. I just know my last words are going to be "pst pst...come here buddy" as I walk up to a big cat or something. I have had pets ever since I was little and have always considered them apart of my family. I have experience with the care of cats & dogs and I would be delighted to care for your fur baby! Currently this is my full time gig, so I am available for walks and check ins all through the day. I can also do overnight stays with your fur baby (in your home only). I am available to take walk doggos during the day/evening and even do some check ins to make sure they have all they need. Overnights will be in your home so your fur baby is in a familiar environment that they are comfy in.

About: I have over 7 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities—from small breed seniors to high-energy breeds. Jinger (My own pup) is a 6-year-old Female Malinois-Lab mix, so I’m especially familiar with energetic dogs who need structure, attention, and enrichment to thrive.  Over the years, I’ve cared for puppies, seniors, rescues, and dogs with unique needs—including leash reactivity, anxiety, and medical routines. The wonderful folks at Southside pet shop had taught me Animal Husbandry by the book (literally). During my time there I had taken care of a wide variety of pets in a professional setting. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been pet sitting dogs and cats since my early teens. I have experience caring for pets of all ages and medical needs, including diabetic dogs requiring insulin injections, blind dogs, pets with seizures, and dogs with mobility and potty issues. I’m comfortable administering medications and providing extra patience and attention to senior pets or those needing specialized care. I’ve also fostered dogs and cats through my local shelter, caring for everything from puppies and kittens learning the ropes to senior dogs needing diapers and additional support. My experience fostering has helped me become adaptable, calm, and attentive to each pet’s unique personality and needs. I currently have two dogs of my own, Murphy and Lucky, they are my whole heart and I love every pet I care as if they were part of my family. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work overnight shifts from 9pm–5am, Monday-Friday, which gives me a flexible daytime schedule. I’m able to adjust my sleep schedule as needed, so I have plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, feeding schedules, medication administration, playtime, and overnight care. In my home, I do my best to create a safe and comfortable environment where pets can feel relaxed, cared for, and entertained. I have a fully fenced-in yard that backs up to a park, which gives dogs plenty of space for supervised outdoor time, play, and exercise. I also have a separate guest room available if an owner prefers their pet to have their own quiet space during their stay with us. I understand that every pet has different routines and comfort levels, so I try to keep their schedule as consistent as possible with feeding times, potty breaks, walks, medications, playtime, and rest. I’m happy to accommodate senior pets, puppies, and pets with medical or mobility needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure they feel comfortable in their familiar environment while keeping up with their normal routine and giving them plenty of attention, affection, and companionship. I always treat both pets and homes with respect and care, and I know how important communication and reliability are while you’re away from your pets. I love to send parent’s updates on their babies and we can work out details on how frequently you would like pictures sent!

I can administer medication and give shots as well. I have a senior kitty and an adult age cat myself, so plenty of experience with senior care.
