Available on short notice, including nights, and 12-24 hours' notice is preferred. I have a lightly fenced yard and two friendly dogs. A canine guest may be offered crating for sleep, or they are welcome to bring their own bed. Must be cat friendly. About: I am mostly interested in hosting cats but if you have a well tempered pup I would be willing to discuss if we would be a good match. I have time before I go to work (from 6 am to 8 am) to check on animals and after I get out at 5:00 pm I am available Monday through Friday. Saturday's I am available after 1 pm and Sunday I have open availability. I love cats and want them to feel most comfortable. Give me a list of their likes and dislikes and I will be sure that we will have a splendid time!

About: I've been happily caring for animals, big and small, since childhood. I've always been relied on for long-term dog sitting while neighbors were out of town. Friends of mine with exotic pets, or pets with special needs, also rely on me to take care of their animals while they are busy. Similarly, I have work experience at a doggy daycare and a puppy school for about half of a year each. Both of these businesses practiced positive reinforcement and gentle training strategies. My family's two sweet dogs taught me the value of ensuring that pets are clean, healthy, and fulfilled. It makes such a huge difference in everyone's lives! My schedule is very open currently. I am flexible for the majority of the week, but Sundays are my day off. I also have class Monday evenings, but it is remote, so it does not necessarily interfere with house sitting. “David comes to my home often to watch my two ferrets, Agnes and Mango. The level of care given is absolutely above and beyond. Mango is elderly and sick with multiple types of cancer and I often ask David to give Mango her medicine. Usually when I ask people to do this, they just give her medicine and leave the room, which is all I ever ask people to do. David gives Mango her medicine but also take both of the ferrets out of the pen to play with them and give them scratches, especially if I'm away on a trip and the girls need extra attention. David has a palpable love for animals and a passion for their wellbeing.
