About: i am a lifelong animal lover, dog, cat, & small mammal caretaker. i live in southern Vermont with 1 cat & 1 dog and have cared for other folks’ beloved pets since 2010. it brings me such joy to make animals feel safe, calm, and emotionally at home when they may otherwise feel slightly stressed to be away from their main people! i mostly work from home and have a lot of flexibility to be able to schedule dog walks, dog or cat visits, and doggy daycare most days of the week :) pet safety and security is always a top priority in my home and i am always mindful of the protocols and routines of each home i enter. maintaining pet routines is crucial to their comfort and i’m always down to work with you to find the right rhythm for your animal companions!

About: Huge dog lover...I’m definitely the type of person to pay more attention to the dog in the room than the humans haha :) I have very open availability and would love to help out by caring for your furry friend(s)! As a dog owner myself I understand the level of trust that comes with leaving your pets with others. I’m quite active and can assure that they will receive chances to exercise if needed, in addition of course to love & affection. As a house-sitter, I am also happy to help out with housekeeping and yard work. I am also very experienced with dogs who have experienced trauma and have issues such as anxiety. About: Hello folks, I am an experienced animal caretaker with a background in fostering pets. I have cared for dogs, cats, other domestic pets, and farm animals. My clients, friends and family have entrusted me to watch their animals since I was 12. I believe that direct communication with pet owners will allow me to provide a safe and engaging experience for your animals. I work part-time from 10 am - 2 pm throughout the week. My work days change frequently but I am available outside of these hours for your caretaking needs. I will not be providing services in my home at this time. For pet sitting and walking services, I am available to stay in your home or do daily check ins. My goal is to be an accessible source for your animal while you travel or are at work. I will be available 24/7 via email or text after you book my services. Please provide me with any medical, dietary, or enrichment needs for your animal when you book my services. I always adhere to my clients wishes and will do my best to stick with your pet’s daily routine while in my care. If you have a dog who is friendly, I can provide additional enrichment with my three year old pup Zeus.

About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

About: Cats have been a part of our family always. Loving and caring for them as we would ourselves. They are an extension of us. Having raised cats from kittens to senior cats. I bring a wealth of experience to support your pet at any age. Flexible hours and availability to meet your pet sitting needs. Weekends and vacation weeks available. Given there is limited sitters in our area, I do book far in advance. The care I offer is tailored to your families individual needs, and that of your pet. As like us their needs are unique to them and their home environment. I do my absolute best to meet all requests within safety parameters for myself and your pet.

About: I've taken care of big dogs, small dogs, in between dogs. I've taken care of young kitties, mature kitties, and elder kitties. They all were adored by me. I currently work remotely, so I have plenty of time to be present for the needs of those I'm caring for. Working this way allows for a more spacious and flexible day and week. I am easily adaptable and can work within the needs of the homes I visit. Every home and every care situation is unique and requires fluidity.

About: I have worked at the Windham County Humane Society for 22 years. I am experienced in medical handling, Safe fear-free restraint, and administering medications IV, IM, orally and subcutaneously. I have worked with many different cat and dog breeds. I work full-time as the Director of Operations at the Windham County Humane Society so I am only available for drop-in visits in the morning and evening. I do not currently offer pet care in my home. I have my own pets that do not get along with others. Sorry for the inconvenience!
