About: I love all animals! I have experience with dogs, cats, cows, reptiles (mainly snakes), chickens, ducks, rodents (rats, mice, hamster), rabbits, sheep, goats, birds, etc! I love connecting with each animal in their unique ways, I truly believe we have a lot to learn from these compassionate beings. It's my pleasure to make them feel safe, loved, well fed and fully exercised! I am happy to offer extra services that include picking up or dropping off (you provide crate), giving medications orally or topically (I don't do injections), brushing fur, cleaning litter boxes, feeding your other animals, etc. Please don't hesitate to ask for more help, I'm here for you and your pet! I don't have a lot of experience with disabled or very old animals but I'm willing to learn what their specific and special needs are. I have had older dogs in my life so I do have a basic grasp on their needs but everyone is unique! I mostly work remote from home with the occasional pop into the warehouse once or twice a week. My schedule can be pretty flexible for the most part! I'll gladly learn the typical schedule you have with your pet so that they feel their care is secure and stable. Time of feeding, length of walk, treats, etc. Just let me know and I'll do my best to make you both feel considered and cared for. I'm not currently doing doggy day care or boarding. Eventually I will offer that service again! I might be open to it on a case by case basis.

About: I began my seriously joyous devotion to animals at the age of 11, as an SF ZOO volunteer in the barnyard, where I learned to care for a variety of animals, from miniature horses to coyotes to parrots, and more. I have continued to attract rescuing wayward beasts of all kinds, providing them with excellent love and care. I am a natural nurturer, the animals feel at home with me wherever we are. I absolutely appreciate forming long term client relationships so that you and your animals can relax and have fun. I am self-employed and can accommodate your needs. When I am hired for a pet-sit, this is my focus and priority. I can schedule all my other work around it. I have a lovely minimalist home for your pet, a small garden and plenty of leashed walking in the woods space for regular exercise. If a dog is ok with car rides, I’m happy to take them to the beach.

Leisurely private or pack walks down our private quintessential West County winding dirt road provide for an epic dog vacation! There are resident Labrador retrievers "Heart" a Bernese Mountaing Dog "Stormy" and a cat named "Blue". They are all very accustomed to other dogs and are great ambassadors. I leave the house on occasion but can either take your dog with me for a car ride if they like that, leave your dog home or if you would prefer, crate it for a short time. About: I have been dog sitting for years but started Rover in 2022. I started out caring for my two pugs and cat, and have been sitting for family, friends, and folks on Rover. I am currently working as an overnight nursing assistant on Sunday-Tuesday, so I have plenty of time to take care and play with your pet! The rest of the days I am here to help, so they can get all the love and attention they can get while you’re away! When I am at a client’s home I make sure fencing is secured if needed. My home has a fence as well. I also make sure they have enough place to play whether it could be inside or out. I prefer to be outside with them! I love being active with animals but if you’re pet is somewhat a couch potato OR old, I can comfort them in whatever way they feel comfortable.

About: I’ve lived with dogs since my first memory. I grew up on a farm, and we had 3-6 dogs at any given time. When I went to college, I adopted the first dog I would raise on my own -- he lived almost 15 happy years. I rescued another pup in my mid-thirties — he’s going on 7, and we’re best buds. So, I have experience taking care of puppies, seniors, and every age in between. My dogs and I have participated in puppy schools and worked 1:1 with excellent dog trainers -- in each case, I learned as much as my dog. I believe dogs just want to give love and get love back. This emotional reciprocation, along with adequate exercise and a healthy diet, makes for a happy, healthy dog. While I’m primarily a dog person, I grew up with lots of cats on the farm and have lived with and cared for cats here and there as an adult. I feel comfortable with cats and understand their needs. I understand the trust required to let someone else take care of your pet. My promise is to always be building and reinforcing my trustworthiness as a caregiver to animals and plants. I walk my dog every day. I understand some dogs need more than one walk per day, depending on their energy level. I also make sure my dog gets outside several times a day to enjoy the fresh air and relieve them. I will do the same for yours, based on your preferences. At this time, I work from home, so my availability for drop-ins or walks is very flexible. I am calm, gentle, and patient and aim to create an environment where the dogs I care for can feel and act the same. When walking, I like to keep dogs on a 6-foot leash (not a retractable leash) and keep the dog walking forward as opposed to stopping every few seconds. I consider myself the leader (not the dog) and intend to set a vibe where the dog understands they have a job to do -- walk!

About: I am a fish biologist, but love all animals. I am new to Rover, but my friends and coworkers regularly rely on me to care for their pets. I have cared for dogs with special needs, such as epilepsy, senior dogs and puppies. I have done basic dog training courses with my 30 lb tripod dog and volunteered walking dogs at my local shelter. I will treat your furry family member with love and care! I work remotely from 8-4:30 pm on weekdays, so I’m available to provide attention and fun for your pet most of the day. I usually go to the office on Wednesdays, but I can accommodate if your pet cannot be alone very long. I am an active person and would love to take your dog to the park or beach or for walks on trails, if they do well in those settings. If your dog is lower energy, I can match that energy too! I am excellent at following directions and will follow your pets normal schedule. I am observant and will pay attention to your dog’s well-being. You can expect clear and consistent communication if you trust me with your furry family member. House sitting: I am happy to take your dog for multiple walks a day and accommodate special food or medication schedules. I am a respectful, clean, non-smoker, in my 30s. I work from home on weekdays, so would just require internet access. Boarding: If you prefer to board at my place, I live on a partially fenced, three acre property in the forest with my partner, Troy, another fish biologist. We have chickens in a fenced in area, a dog and an indoor/outdoor cat. There is a creek between our house and the street. I usually take my dog out for two walks a day and outside in the yard with supervision, or unsupervised in a completely fenced in porch where she loves to sunbathe.

About: I’ve taken care of all types of dogs for 30 years. I have two Pittbull mixes , one boxer Pitt and one Pitt bulldog. The Pitt Bull Dog has intervertebral disk disease and used my training in occupational therapy and massage and did physical therapy with him myself so he could use his back legs again, after being paralyzed and needing a wheelchair. He’s now able to walk without his wheelchair. I’ve also taken pittbull training classes with them and am knowledgeable about training cues. I currently work as a distribution sales executive, and work from home, so have free time in the afternoons and weekends. I have a baby and two dogs of my own and would still be able to take some time to visit other dogs in my area. I can check on pets during the day or while clients are on vacation . I can take them on walks, let them out in the yard, play fetch , feed them , snuggle them, and even give medicine.
